Thank you for posting this! You are so brave and determined, keep it up! My mom just had a stroke recently and it’s been very hard on her and our family. She is working really hard like you to recover. How long did it take for you to walk again?

Walking is still a work in progress. I’m only 9 months post stroke.
The first steps are the hardest. It’s like trusting a leg that’s no longer your own to get you where you’re going. And stroke leaves you weak so endurance is a problem.
I can walk a little using cane and my AFO. My family helps by taking shopping and Mall walking. They don’t push me they cheere me on. They offer to take my wheelchair so I can walk.
It takes time and patience 💜
