Yeah, it would have been nice to do that for sure. We were focusing on the journey, working on the laptop and driving though so had to prioritise unfortunately. Glad you enjoyed the video Nealy!
You set yourself up for a good challenge there, but well done, especially in that weather. Blake, you are like a range extender with the way you finished the last 200 km 👌
Thanks Stephen. We're thrilled with it! Considering the weather conditions and time of the year it's big! We reckon the car would sail through it in summer time. Thanks for the comment!
Hi Allen, glad you enjoyed it. Temperatures were cold for Ireland and it was heavy rain most of the day. Very different driving conditions across the country. Pop onto Google Maps and get directions Mizen Head to Malin Head and you'll see what we mean! Glad you enjoyed it!
OK if you are rich enough to own and run such a vehicle.I am not at all against luxury motorcars , the new technologies may well be being tested and improved on the genre . However, for EVs to become really successful in the short to medium term we need to see today's manufacturers take a leaf from Henry Ford's book and have vehicles made that can serve a much wider market.Maybe the Chinese have realised this and we shall see many recognised brands go out of business?
There will always be plenty of wealthy people to buy this type of expensive EV and the rest of us can settle for an affordable Tesla or Hyundai. Same as with ICE cars.
Manufacturers building affordable to the masses EV’s, while crucial, is eclipsed by the immediate need for a massively improved charging infrastructure. Particularly with the number of potential EV’s buyers that call an apartment home. If you cannot charge at home, then you are stuck with paying five times plus more to charge your EV vs the cost for a homeowner charging from their home charger. This alone is becoming a major drawback for new prospective EV buyers.
Very enjoyable. Might show more of the towns that you passed and more of the road travelled.

Terrific video, very exciting toward the end!! Well done, and what a machine indeed!!

Ha!...a human range extender, love it! Delighted we finished it, and well done to Mercedes on the car!
Particularly impressive given time of year!
Yeah, incredible feat. We reckon it would breeze it in summer! Thanks for the comment Thomas!
Well done lads! That’s a historic milestone.
Class drive, I bet you slept well after that spin!
Especially after the couple of pints Bob.
Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻 Significant achievement. Well done.

The Dynamic Duo!🙏👏👌
Ha! We'll take that Con, thanks! It was a great adventure!
Fair play lads. Touch and go there for a while 😮
It was VERY close Gerry.
Great work, not a hint of range anxiety 😜👏
Ha! More than a hint of it. At the halfway point I didn't think we'd make it!
Brilliant test
Did yee coast or regen
Nice job lads !!
Well done!
Thanks for the test. Was the test run mostly on highways? What was your average speed? What was the temperature?

You do pedal down hill on a bike if you’re a cyclist 🚴🏾♀️
I will stick to my diesel.
