wow ! looks like in real time , waves and smokes playing simultaneously...really awesome :) thanks
Incredible!
thank you
in the future, would it be called SPU?(Support Proccesing Unit)
Great, but were is download link ?
you know that you can change the res on youtube right?
just amazing
How are you guys capturing the facial movements ? Kinect ? does any one know, I need Titan !
what the name of that song at the begin
Was the NES able to hook up to a T.V and display a game? If so, it had a graphics processor. In fact, the NES uses its Ricoh RP2C02 to process graphics.
How long before can we see this commercially in games?
I say 3 years.
Why the hell isn't it available on this platform, iPad 3.
whats the intro song
Am I the only one who's more mesmerized by the smoke than the waves?
can I play this on my TRS80?
can gtx 690 do this which software
lol R&H didn't do the scene where the ship sank! The Moving Picture Company did!
where is that footage come from 2:00-2:10 anyone? is it a movie pls tell me the name seems so fun
You know that even thought they upload it in 1080p, you can still select a lower quality during playback, RIGHT? :P
That smoke was so awesome! O_O
where can i download that? :d
Do you have any idea what the price of this monster would be?
When is the next GeForce LAN?
is it possible to make a computer without CPU but only GPU in the future?
Nvdia of all ppl, can't put 1080p vids on their channel?
amazing
@Hfajardo97 - I think you are getting mixed up between VRAM and RAM, I find it extremely unlikely that the PS4 will have 8GB of dedicated VRAM - it will probably have 4GB, but even that's high for the price it'll be.
Amazing technology
Nvidia channel, why you no load up in 1080p? Or is it just me?
Well that's a kinda silly thing to say, you can stream 1080p videos in 720p so it doesn't really make sense not to have 1080p then.
i almost cried with that opening :')
10 years later and we still don't have that ocean tech in our games...
i was SOOOOOO disapointed with the titan! why get that when you could have a geforce GTX 690 which perfoms better for the same price?
Just because the video is able to play in 1080p doesn't mean you have to use it. You can still play in lower resolutions if your connection can't handle it.
And yet this video is not in 1080p
"I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna tell you... then I'm gonna tell you..."
THAT'S IT! I'M SOLD! That line convinced me right there!
sir, I Have to say it , you made my day !! hahaha
I guess you were one of those kids that opened his presents before you woke up.. the anticipation can make the reveal that much more enjoyable. I agree I don't like to wait around and get to the point before my life span has already ended. but the thing is.. its not going to take more than a few hours to show all the information. I do have a few hours patients.. days or weeks.. can be frustrating.
um, if you cannot stream 1080p, why couldn't you just set the quality to 720p, or 480p?
sure, but was it real time?
What does gtc mean?
I saw such thing in Maya 5 many years ago.
ok but in uncharted it was a ocean storm actually showed its tecnology.
for example in this vid
/watch?v=Tom6wQo16kk
at 06:30 the boat spined and in the final the water enters in the boat, and at the start of the mission you can see the boat reacting to the ocean storm.
But of course this from NVidia is more advanced
I know right, I've heard them in Windows 8 ads too.
BF4's water simulation is impressive for a game, but this is on a completely different scale. The system in use in the Frostbite engine is much simpler since processing power needs to be rationed for other purposes in a full-featured game. For instance, vehicle behavior physics are clearly not as detailed in BF4 as they are in this tech demo. Bottom line, it's an apples-to-oranges comparison.
yup and the game is much more heavy things because happen random things all can happen in fact so is a process that you have to restain some things that's why games are not yet reallity.
bf4 is not bad ,but not impressive
And GTA 5.🤔🤔🤔🤔
Just bought one for a awesome miniatx build :D
that looks beautifull
I hate knowing I can't afford one, but I love the idea that raising the bar of single-gpu performance will make the more consumer-priced cards more affordable in the long run.
When he was talking about the speed of the wind effecting the waves simulation, that just sounds like cryengine to me.
10:14 - The ship sinking in Life of Pi was created by MPC not Rhythm & Hues.
impresionante
fc titan, where can I get that jacket
GPUs are doing some pretty complex parallel processing.
wow, I never even knew 140p existed! Thanks NVIDIA!
Nvidia is a misspelling of 'No-video'
This is rendered in real time. A game with these graphics could be made right now.
what is gtc?
How
awsome
im already getting seasick watching that boat in the water...
It is still nice to have a nice looking PC.
just incredible. When i do simulation in 2d it needs so much cpu power and here 3d on the fly...
720P WTF!!!
Why doesn't battlefield 4 have simulation like this? Will any next gen games be as realistic as this?
My thoughts exactly.
But can it outperform a PS4 :P
gpu's and cpu's have different types of things which they need to process, which is why they're different components.Graphics processing requires a lot more basic parallel processes and stuff. I could explain more but suffice it to say that they work together.
absolutely amazing but somethings awfully off about the waves, the waves seem too sharp especially, the waves hitting the ship. I think it is best to add more tessellation to the waves and round it down more.
that got dark fast.
POWER of the Titan ;)
Nice
i want to see that steam like in games, very nice and fluent.
It's more then likely TH-cam's fault. I've uploaded a 720p video only to have TH-cam display it as a 480p video :/
ive gone through videos 1-13 and he didnt drop that gpu from his hand.lol
Cool~!
they should have had the boat break in half and sink at the end before closing the presentation!
they puted 144p in their video if you still can't play in 240p
Poland - Szczerego Serca Życzę dalszych Sukcesów w kolejnych latach jesteście po prostu niesamowici z Dużym Szacunkiem z Poważaniem Radosław Sobierański ze Słupsk
i was expecting the ship to sink at the end
Cool but I really wanted them to crank it up even further.
I am a console player...And I have to say that watching this is like waking up from a coma...God damn I want a gameing PC so badly...I left it at the end of the 90's...nVidia Riva TNt was my first , and last good video card in a gaming PC that I had.
Finally they can make a surfing sport game.
I think my computer will just catch on fire if I run the ocean simulator.
holy ship
I know theres already two top comments saying this but thats amazing.
I want to just stare at the ocean simulator get windier until the ship flips over.
Jen-Hsun Huang does a keynote alot like Steve Job's did
I've bought both, nVidia and AMD. Videos like these should not take dislike. nVidia is pushing tech foward and AMD should do the same, than we put our dollars in those that we belive are taking tech to the direction we prefer.
On a side note, dam it took a while to see what we clicked about. Three minute music video.
epic (:
well nes didt have one
i want volumetric smoke such as we can see here in games, and this ocean simulator too
And the water still goes through the ship...instead of reacting to the hull...
They saw what you said and made it 7.
Well, that smoke looks more realistic
Cept for the fact they both compute things :p
Put this ocean simulator in Assassin's Creed 4 please =P
I know right.
Who needs a PS4? GTX Titan already whips it easily, and it's here NOW (for whoever can afford it)
Uncharted 3 had this, according to the ocean how the boat would react. Can't wait for next gen games like the new Assassins Creed, curiours to see how the ocean acts when for example hinting a Whale!
GTX Titan may not be the most powerfull but probably the best choice for anyone!
Runs GTX TITAN to Show Ocean Simulating , Records it on 720p for youtube -___-
No but they have 144p :O
