Dr.Pal, you have truly motivated and Inspired IF personally. I have started since September 2022 and your wife Priya too inspired a lot. I started gradually and have finally come to my eating window is 9am to 2pm and fasting window 2pm to 9am which means 19:5 and over a period have lost 15kg and I’m super happy. But occasionally when I go for functions due to unavoidable situations though I have portion control the eating window n fasting window changes, is that ok?

You are absolutely right.When my husband was having food, I usually tend to sit along.However when I sit with pure unsweetened lemon water my craving dies off.Lemon water is sure assisting in keeping our weight loss journey and craving.
Intermittent fasting has changed my life. I managed to lose 18kg in a few months. My routine includes 5 pm dinner and 11 am breakfast. No sugar during the eating window and occasional snacks once or twice a week. I am at a point where I feel confident enough that my body weight is within my control, if I push just a little, I can easily lose 1.5-2 kg in a week. Never have I ever thought that my weight would be within my control. 16 to 18 hours fasting, stay calorie deficit, no sugar, minimum oily and processed foods. That is the way to go.
@DrPal, your videos have been immensely helpful. Both to watch (entertaining) and to follow (healthy). How about adding little ginger to the lemon. Also is Ginger and or lemon not acidic by themselves still how do they neutralize the acidic effects in our stomach ?
Sir kindly please say what should be done for left sided colitis. I mean what should be diet of him/ her if he/ she has colitis. If he/she need to do fasting once in a month what he/she should eat? The exercise and medicine for colitis. And many more. Hi Pal Thanks for your IF videos. It was very helpful. As you said, for the first 15-20 days it was very difficult and slowly the body gets adjusted. From 12 hours ..I now moved to 14 hours 🙏 fasting period. Now I am doing some exercises as well...and seeing a lot of changes I am seeing in the Body. My blood sugar levels H1BAC dropped from 8.3 to 6.3 in 3months. Thanks a lot for your motivation and videos 😊😊. I have a query, hitting the gym during Fasting time is advisable. Trying to lift weights during that time is advisable? Can you please help me here. I stop eating by 7:30 pm and start my breakfast by 9:30am. Generally I go to the gym by morning 6am. Without eating anything and hitting the gym I somehow feel I am stretching too much.
Small advise if you are lifting weights donot go with empty stomach or change your pattern to go for gym when you are full. My friend did the same but suffered due to low BP. It's just a suggestion donot take me wrong.

Yes, pink salt is a great way of getting electrolytes and is perfect for intermittent fasting. You can also have electrolyte powder without any sugar in it.

@DrPal I’ve been drinking fermented rice water with a little bit of lemon to break my intermittent fast. I was wondering if the lemon juice could actually be killing the good bacteria in the fermented water. Googling didn’t help answer the doubt. Could you clarify, please?
