Since then i replaced that little pump with a much better one - the holley pump 12-170. The few times i ren out of fuel i just used the auxiliary pump to prime the engine instead of messing with the little manual priming pump. It worked like a charm, in 20 seconds the engine was primed. Also this auxiliary pump possibly save my life in a 2022 blizzard in south dakota . It was minus -25 and very windy. After sitting at a truck stop for 2 days cause i90 was closed i decided to try to go around the closure on some small country roads. Well the diesel gelled up and engine stalled in the middle of nowhere. I turmed the auxiliary pump on and somehow it had the power to forced that gelled up diesel through the engine and got me to the next truck stop.
Love what you did
Thanks you I have a 2007 D12 and I’m thinking doing the same
Can you send me the part number
