You can’t anodize steel. If you want any standoffs or metallic accents that aren’t painted you need to use anodized aluminum. Only reason that’s there.

I have an 18v handheld vacuum that uses a removable battery with just a positive and negative terminal but I would like to use my rigid batteries would this be as simple as wiring the positive and negative from my battery to the terminals on my vacuum or can you advise of a better way or perhaps safer Thank you

Nit-picking idiot who purposely damages a really good knife for click bait. I'd choose this knife over most Morakniv (or any other) 3/4 stick tang blades any day. The end cap is made of aluminum so that it's easier on whatever lanyard you choose to put on your knife. Steel is hard and keeps a sharp edge on its corners. Aluminum is a softer metal that can be shaped into a gentler radius more cheaply than machining steel. Also, aluminum holds the high visibility red color much better than steel would. The high-viz red color could quite possibly help you find your survival knife if you drop it, you dolt. Stop trying to prove what a greedy, lying, monstrous corporate villain Walmart is and appreciate what the functions of the knife are, you dullard. The only fool's existence you've proven by this video post is your own. And it appears, judging by many other comments here, that I'm not the only one who believes you to be utterly ignorant of knife design.
