an essential tool that makes hot rod building way easier, and more enjoyable.
I built this using some scrap from my chassis build and a few laser cut pieces from a local shop.
total cost was about $175, which is allot less than the $1200 I would have to pay for a full on manufactured rotisserie.
this one isn't as heavy duty, but I'll be able to disassemble it and hang it on my wall!

Be pretty awesome to build a jack into this. That way you can lift it higher to clear tye frame. I read about using a engine life hoist attachment too.
I built this with enough height/width to clear the frame.

Awesome Build! Do you have specs for the laser cut pieces mainly the door hinge cross bar pieces?
I just traced the hinges onto a piece of cardboard and took them to my laser guy. Sorry I don't have the file to send....

wow, pretty cool. i'm just getting started on my 67 c10. you did a great job cleaning up the cab. how did you get it so clean/rust free. hope you have a vid on lifting your cab and rust removal, i'll check out your site. i'm a little old school, don't do facebook/instagram. how would i get those plans. again, you did a great job. my biggest concern is the balance, being an older guy i don't know if i can handle it when rotating. any suggestions on moving the balance point so it rotates with less weight swing.
I've had a lot of feedback and requests for the plans. I'm thinking it may be worth designing a more simple plan that's easy to use and assemble.

I built a cab rotisserie that replaces the slide out arm on the engine hoist. So you only have the hoist on one side in the at a time.
Saw that idea online also

I do, but they're poor plans at best. A few other guys have asked for the plans as well, I'm going to make an actual design plan and associated files to build one.

I doubt he is asking for any recognition for what he made. He is sharing his idea with the general viewer just in case they need to do something similar. Maybe if you paulgreen were to keep your rude comments to yourself then you might have a more productive life. I can't stand a smart azz.
