    John always a pleasure to view your videos!😊 Nice build and flights. Quick question, do you have a method for removing the numbers and letters on the kit members, so they don’t show through the covering? Thanks for posting

    Currently my models don’t fly long enough or far enough to be at risk of getting lost😂, but I’m improving dramatically with your help🎉. Mr. Hallman’s as well, thank you gentlemen

      Yes, flying pretty good now. Managed a first with it at the local FAC contest.

    Thanks for sharing. I need to get better making adjustable controls like thrust buttons. Will keep on working on it.

      You're welcome Darrell. Yea, the adjustable front ends can save a lot of pain during trimming. I do find it funny that it takes some effort to manufacture them, and then you really only use them for a short time while getting the model going. Still worth it.

    0:50 How is a 20" model "FAC dime scale event eligible"?

    • @Watchingthevideos99
      @Watchingthevideos99  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not. But in the early days of Dime Scale, you could fly models up to 20 inch span. The problem was models like the Comet Allied Sport was winning everything so the rules were changed to only allow up to 16 inch span. At Durham, CT, we fly a tribute event for Dave Scott designs and this model is eligible for that event. So far, it's earned two kanones for me. 🙂Thanks for watching.
