I'm a simple man - I see a new EC video, I click
I had the opportunity to share the stage with Mr. Gordon. A true gentleman, musically generous, and a genuinely fun guy. As a fellow trombonist, the entire gig was a master class for me. One of the best moments of my musical life. Thank you, Mr. Gordon.
they really got wycliffe for this too
That Bass ! My God, I'm speechless.😶
This doesn’t happen to me often but I’m speechless! That was just fuckin’ great! Thanks for sharing this!
Wycliffe is really something else man
man everyone here is killing, the ears on Adrian during the trading is pretty mindblowing
Incredible performance by everyone and Emmet just played one of the greatest solos over the blues
Amazing. Duke Ellington's small groups vibes. Masterful 🎶
🎹🎶😌🎺CB🎷😌🎶🥁
Reminiscent (esp. energy wise) of the trading between Les Paul and Nat Cole from some 77 years ago! …and of course Emmet and his band are amazing as always!
Hey Emmet, could you and your trio do a session with Jay Jennings and/or Bob Reynolds? I would love to hear you jam! ♥️
Bob Reynolds 👏🏽👏🏽
That... Is a great idea!!!
@@jimmanariotis1883 shame they are LA cats though... would be great to do a session when they are in town I agree!!

Wowza! That was fantastic- Love that horn line - Emmett - that was awesome - you’re solo had a lot of Red G and Wynton K going on there for me - dynamite!
génial
As usual..."Out-freaking-standing" !
Da kine brah! :)
Good joob
bro on the piano was peak
Wtf the band knows all their hits
Some might find Wycliffe a little corny, maybe a bit of a novelty, but he gives you a deep dive into popular music and manages to smoke any preconceived notions of jazz you might hold dear.
Let me just say, every year he does Thanksgiving at Dizzy's Club Coca Cola. After seeing Emmett, Kyle, and Russell with Wycliffe, my wife and I plan on being there for Thanksgiving.
He’s the greatest jazz trombonist alive
Imma be real with you, never met a person who thought Gordon was a novelty or corny. Didn’t think they existed
12:14 jazz
It seams I'm leastening the Count Basie "Little" Band Orchestra. Swing, swing, swing...
미쳤다..

FFuaaaa. La re viviste scooby.... 8:08
What mouthpiece is Wycliffe using here? Anyone know?
I’ve been wondering about this for years
He Plays on a Pickett Mouthpiece. I use to play on one of those Models when I purchased one of his products many years ago.
I think he has his own custom line
D' entrée, l' exposé du thème est assez remarquable ........
They can't do the intro properly.
Doing something ‘properly’ is highly subjective in the jazz world.
