I love the way Jeffery let the Trombone speak. Thank you to everyone in the band for being so open and allowing the creativity flow through each of you. A true joy watching you all honour the beauty of this song.
Wow these shows just keep getting better! Jefferey Miller!!! What talent! Fantastic feel on the trombone and his voice is sublime. Thank you, you’re exceptionally talented musicians🙏
@@JefferyMillerMusic great playing! Just got back into the trombone after playing guitar and piano for years and the approach just has to be different. There’s a lot that we can’t do on the trombone, but there’s also a lot that nobody else can do as well
Another Cohen-hosted delight. This is Jazz “for the people…”. Nothing to be decoded here, skill, craft, invention, all in the basic not-extended harmony of the original. I’d feel so honored to sha re a stage with any of these cats. Keep ‘em coming, Mr. C and Co.
I like how Jeffery made a quick call at 3:45 to ask the drummer to sit out for sec. Gives a nice energy reset to the start of his solo, and I like how he made the call right before his solo, when he knew Kyle would be looking at him.
@@JefferyMillerMusicSay Jeff, what's up man.Fine trombone work, also very fluent vocals man!!! So, where you from, where you living now,? what's the best place to check your sounds out ? Just a bit you remind me of an omaha homeboy Buddy Miles.Ill shoot you a couple tunes, you have stuff in your name on U tube?O.k., peace, hit me up ..
Best plunger work since Al Grey. Jeffey you are the full package. And what a perfect combo. Ya'll ain't just jamming, you're in touch and connected. Truly a master work going on here. Love how the drummer started without sticks. So creative. Piano and bass are totally solid. If I ever see you cats in the Big Easy I'm grabbing my bone and sliding in.
Musicianship is sensational, but also Hats off to whomever does the sound..listening on my home studio monitors instead of my usual crappy laptop...sounds amazing!!!!
Old school... in the best possible way. Amazing plunger work. EC and the whole group just bring it in every video. I really thought that this style of jazz was lost on the younger generations... but you guys are keeping it authentic and alive. Thank you!
My first exposure to this song was Tommy Dorsey's version and I immediately liked it. I think this laid back version is exactly the way it should be. You really nailed the optimistic never-care attitude of it! Thanks!!
man your growls are otherworldly. sometimes I get really sad about being a musician but then I remember people like you guys exist. amazing man.
Don't be sad about being a musician man :D
Otherworldly growls ;-)
Thank you Sean! "Otherworldly Growls" sounds like a cool name for a tour. :)
💯!!!
Wow I was not expecting that Jeffery would sing too! What a voice - a man of many talents.
Thank you Graham!
Never, in the history of mankind, has there ever been anything that cool! Just WOW.

@@JefferyMillerMusic My pleasure and my apologies! I've corrected it.
The voicing with that Trombone...other worldly !!
Aw, thanks!

Absolutely wonderful performance from all musicians, especially Jefferey! Wonderful plunger work and the vocals!

Perfection. Everyone here shines brilliantly. Also one of my favorite bass players today.
Theres something so amazing about just bass and lead instrument/vocals together, it feels so intimate and soulful
This is one of my favorite songs because everyone interprets it just a bit differently. OUTSTANDING!
This Russel Hall guy is an absolute machine
Dang he’s got a BAC model trombone, he rocks it, and then he has a killer voice. Sold.
Thank you Kevin!
This song can not be played and sung better than this!!!! Marvelous!

@@JefferyMillerMusic ya never know. Hope we can jam one day.
Another super song from Emmet & Co. Jefferey Miller - "blew me away" with his trombone skills. Thanks guys for another happy listen in.
I love that bass tone. Gut strings and the hook
That speed with one finger is absolutely nuts

This whole group is stunning and Russell Hall is sublime!
Tight! Thanks for sharing y'all's music.
I physically recoiled when Miller started singing. Wow.
Thank you Jeffery and thank you Emmet, Russel and I can't forget Kyle...Thank you all for this real real treat.

Very original sound
Brilliant!!!! One of the best rendition of this song I have ever heard...
Great playing guys! Love the plunger work and vocals from Jeffery too!
Thank you so much!
I am definitely watching this for the second time🥵🤯...
This remids me of the magnificent sound of Duke Ellington's small groups. It's unbelievable! 🎶
I want to take an output from the mixing desk and put it straight into my arm through a cannula. It's like eating cherries with your ears. 🌈❤👏
enjoyed this so much. jeffrey miller is a fresh breath of sound. and what about emmett and the rest. thanks for posting
ラストは、泣ける〜❤
Standout performance all. Amazing Jeffery Miller.
Thank you!
Never heard this op. sung in such a sleepy manner. Incredible! Special thanks for using that gentle homestaff too!

This brought a tear to my eye, I can tell you - so beautiful and it swings like hell. Great stuff.
Just f'king incredible. 🔥
That was fun!!!!😍
Jeffrey sounds a lot like my granddad, Vic Dickenson....even the vocals....
Hey, your granddad was my dad's favorite trombone player! I inherited his old jazz records, and almost all of 'em feature Vic Dickenson ;-)
Thanks for sharing this. Glad to know his legacy continues.
What an honour - thank you!
Tasty! 😊
Really nice. Thanks
Wow..
You dudes have really got it, thanks.
