Just a tip for you guys.Avoid buying any highly advertised audio equipment in general. If you are looking for quality also avoid any headphones that have active noise cancelling technology. Although it sounds nice it greatly reduces sound quality.
My cousin actually have these and when I wore them they were hands down best headphones I've ever listen! Remember it's the best *I'VE* listen. But I plan on getting the Audio Technica M50.
I still have these along with the new studio wireless ones...I love these headphones!!! No complaints....these headphones will last me a life time. Worth the investment.
Andrew Johnson it’s 2018 and mines still works, I’ve got a Bluetooth adapter from insignia at Best Buy to make them wireless. I won’t replace what still works. Only a few headphones can beat these old things.
I love beats honestly. Ive used others and nothing is as crisp as these. I bought the beats by dre solos for 50 bucks brand new. Then i went to a pawn shop, traded the solos, box and all, for just the studios with the case and cord. Then i went to the local farmers market/flea market, sold them for $150. So all in all i made $100 on bartering.
The Beats by Dr Dre (especially the studio) have really good sound quality and this is someone who's used them for 2 years now. Sure they're not the best for producing music and such but for everyday listening, they're really good. They're good for people who have the money and want good sound quality and headphones that don't break quite easily (trust me when I say they don't break easily).
I heard that the control on the black cable doesn't have volume up/down as you mentionned, but only control talk/play/pause...you might correct it with an annotation if I'm right, so no one gets confused.

I just bought on old pazar for 2dolars only just need replaced ear and head covers bought from Ali for 3-4dolars. Amazing headphones with high sound don't espect that. 👍
Something small I realized with my beats, is if im moving my jaw (Chewing gum/Food) or moving my head they tend to creak and the creak is loud enough to hear when audio is going thru them.
Hey i watched a video where the red cord isnt designed that way. The side you plug into the mp3 player is made like the side you plug into the headphones but here you have the ones where the side plugged into the mp3 is different. Mine are the same as yours. Is that a sign of fake beats????
@marquesbrownlee I would look into Grado, Sennheiser, AKG, and also Shure audio headphones have nice quality and are very affordable. They definitely don't look as good as beats headphones, but are very clear, and have a great balance between treble & bass. If you wan't "Studio" headphones, look at the higher end Denon, and Grado headphones, they sound incredible!
@skater4655 i don't know all the differences, but the studio is larger, fits better on ears, the solo is smaller, if you have a big ear, consider buying the studio

i used to have the Studios but i swapped them for the Pros. the Pros dont look as good but they sound great and theyll last a loooong time because theyre made of metal
@JRmonsta75 don't worry about leakage. I bought the Hesh skullcandies and the cable pulled out and broke after like 2 weeks and I took good care of them. Don't waste ur money and go by headphones with removable cables
I've tried ATH-m50 headphones, they sound great. Punchy bass, clear mids, and equally crisp highs, along with the comfort of pillows on your ears. I've tried Beats, too. They hurt my head, which discounts any comfort factor, and they sounded like they were built with parts from a McDonalds toy. You obviously haven't listened to any other headphones from $100+, let alone $300. Go to guitar center and compare your Beats to anything they have. (Notice, they won't have Beats.)
Are batteries required even if I just wanted to plug in the wire instead of using it wireless, or even if you had the wire plugged in, it will still kill the batteries/require it?
@GAN5ST2 It reduces outside noise so if your in a car or someones talking you wont be able to hear anything they're saying unless you press the mute button on the top.
