And just strictly the outline of the two watches are kind of similar - but not at all the way Kevin is describing it. Check out Wise watches they have a fantastic diver with a really cool dial (especially the blue and red patterned dial)

Very interesting episode on unknown microbrands, and I enjoyed hearing Kevin's feedback. Like Kevin, I am attracted to a watch first by its dial; therefore, my first choice is the Zelos Nova. I look forward to the next video with Kevin reviewing microbrands.
The French Hegid brings back shades of the legendary "POP" Swatch of the late 80's & 90's. The surrounding ring could be used to house many different cheap, cheerful and colorful quartz modules and there was an endless array of colorful, elastic straps to complement the housing ring and movements. Hegid have brought it up to a much more expensive genre of watch. I wish them every success for daring to be bold and different.
Having Kevin on for the Microbrand video is so fun. So direct and love the way your two interact. Keep up the great work, hoping to get one of our models on one of the future videos.
Love seeing Farer on here. Great, fun, well made watches. Im a fan of the Brew as well. Have come close to buying one and now this vid has me on the Brew website again😄
Would love to see his take on Baltic and Maen. Baltic has really great looking vintage inspired designs for around $500-700. Maen just released updated versions of their Hudson and Skymaster. Swiss made and both look amazing at $550 and $1000 respectively. I haven't seen another Swiss made watch in the marketplace at that price point outside of a few brands in the Swatch group.
This is what puts Teddy on another planet. High qual video. Made me chuckle seeing Mr Wonderful changing his mind on the Farer Lander.. looking at my wrist now, he'd be pleased with the Lander Midnight even more ;)
Teddy, you should pitch Kevin a micro brand of your own. Also I would love to hear his opinion on a Zelos Ti Mako, full titanium, 1200 Vickers, unique dials, tool less micro adjustable clasp, value retention....incredible watch.
I didn't think I would enjoy this as it began - but I was pleasantly surprised. Good job. I like the objective business perspective Kevin brings to the table. Do some more Teddy - not just one more!
I am glad you showcased the Farer Lander IV, I take it John passed on the message (Thanks John). The first Brew piece is very nice, seen this on your insta also.
Yes please. More episodes of any kind. I like episodes like this because it drives home the point that watch collecting doesn’t have to be overly expensive. May I suggest an episode of only divers. Break them down by price category and let Kevin choose a winner in each category.

Yes, I suppose it reveals somewhat of a pain point to introduce products to market that may not be worth fixing, especially for a product category that in my opinion should all be about lasting (hopefully) a lifetime. The hardened steel approach certainly is worth exploiting more in that respect and given e.g. brews design, this would really benefit from it. Such a more durable 'tool' approach on the rather lustrous retromatic dials might win me over, although the Traska itself is actually surprisingly attractive to me.
Hey Teddy, I have a Zelos Starfighter Aenturine, and let me just say that it's the most gorgeous mechanical chrono you can get for miles. Really glad to see it featured here. Their meteorite dials are also amazing!

Excellent stuff Teddy, I’m a massive fan of micros and I’m so pleased that Kevin appreciates them too. The last French brand I have never heard of and was almost sure you were going to say Baltic before we saw the watches. Fantastic quality at an affordable price, what’s not to like?
Yes, was als surprised this wasn't Baltic, who seem to be pushing above their weight! Saw a different video of them both discussing new introductions with, I believe, an Omega diver which reminds me of the Baltic Aquascaphe, with the on screen impression of the latter winning the match!
At what point did Kevin realise that he has been spending ridiculous $$$$ on watches that really are not that much better then what Teddy has shown him?

Maen just released updated versions of their Hudson and Skymaster. Swiss made and both look amazing at $550 and $1000 respectively. I haven't seen another Swiss made watch in the marketplace at that price point outside of a few brands in the Swatch group.
You are great at bringing so much to helping me learn about new brands.
Teddy you’re killing it with the great content. Congrats on a great watch channel
This segment came out great! So cool to have worked together on this. Looking forward to the next one soon!
I've been wanting to get hold of the brew it's always OOS. I'm from UK and would love to get my hands of these bad boys.
I absolutely love and appreciate the knowledge and commentary you two bring. I'm constantly being educated.
“I hate dog shit dials.” Beautiful! Can’t wait for the next microbrand presentation by you two.
@R nectar from the nipple of Aphrodite LOL
LOL Hard to tell if you're being sarcastic here, or not. Either way, made me laugh.
I am glad you showcased the Farer Lander IV, I take it John passed on the message (Thanks John). The first Brew piece is very nice, seen this on your insta also.
The value of brew watch is going to 10x from here
Yes please. More episodes of any kind. I like episodes like this because it drives home the point that watch collecting doesn’t have to be overly expensive. May I suggest an episode of only divers. Break them down by price category and let Kevin choose a winner in each category.
Mr. Wonderful is definitely an amazing sales man.
"Nectar! From the nipple of Aphrodite!"
I'm dead.
Are you a Trump fan?
@@milsub59 dude, wtf does that have anything to do with his comment?
@@danb8606 Meaning, the kind of person who would be impressed with the babble from Mr not wonderful , might be a cheer leader for the cretin that is Trump.
Ok….this video has made my year! Wow! Here we go, great watches, top notch and one for collectors!
Imagine the owner of Brew when he watched this! I feel in love with that piece the second I saw it. Sadly it sold out very quick.
Thank you, Mike! We'll keep you updated with the new availability soon.
I will be adding this watch to my collection once they’re back in stock. 👍🏻
@@brewwatchco I just subscribed to your channel. Love that watch…
@@rong.2457 Thank you so much, Ron! I truly appreciate it.
@@brewwatchco I went to your webpage and signed up to be notified. But, I’d like to be notified when the white faced one comes in…the Metric Steel Dial. I absolutely LOVE that one. 👍🏻
Love the way Teddy presents these. So knowledgeable.
"300 bucks? If it breaks you just throw it out and get another one."
I ain't no socialist, but damn, dude...
😂😂
What he means it’s not worth paying the price to get it fixed. Look at phones those days people paying 1000 and replace them every 3 years
Yes, I suppose it reveals somewhat of a pain point to introduce products to market that may not be worth fixing, especially for a product category that in my opinion should all be about lasting (hopefully) a lifetime. The hardened steel approach certainly is worth exploiting more in that respect and given e.g. brews design, this would really benefit from it. Such a more durable 'tool' approach on the rather lustrous retromatic dials might win me over, although the Traska itself is actually surprisingly attractive to me.
This is an outstanding content. Looking out of the box. Please more of this... and with Kevin.
hegid has massive potential as a niche brand honestly, i see it growing within 3-5yrs
Great job as usual Teddy! Love the variety of watches, brands, dials!
Been waiting on Brew to restock that Metric range, gonna have to act even faster now when they do become available.
I like the dynamic of Teddy's formality and Kevin's call it as it is approach. Very amusing.
Brew's market share just jumped 20% with a Kevin O'Leary endorsement like that. Get one now, while it's still affordable.
Glad you mentioned Farer; I’ve been looking at their watches and I really like their Lander models. The watches are fun with the pops of color.
Hey Teddy, I have a Zelos Starfighter Aenturine, and let me just say that it's the most gorgeous mechanical chrono you can get for miles.
Really glad to see it featured here. Their meteorite dials are also amazing!
When they released their nova aventurine I was incredibly impressed. Safe to say the same applies to the star fighter. Nothing else like it for the price on the market.
@@TeddyBaldassarre and all run by one man! Looking forward to more coverage of their brand :)
May I suggest a few brands for the second episode? 1. Beaucroft 2. Vertex 3. Draken 4. Erebus 5. Islander and 6. Dekla
LMAO Kevin seeing Nautilus with the Brew. I saw a Tag Monaco at best.
It’s always interesting when you and Kevin get together. I enjoy the fact that these watches are something I’d own.
The Hegid would be great as a wealthy women's watch. $10-15K for a few different sets and she's ready for the Gram
Thank you. I love when these two collaborate.
More dial, less complications. Absolutely, especially on a spectacular dial. Looking at you Seiko!
Another great, entertaining and enlightening video. Thanks, Teddy and Kevin!
Kevin seems pretty cool, and about as down to earth as you could expect a rich guy with "fuck you" money to be. But I bet if you asked him what a bag of Cheetos costs, he'd probably guess....$90? lol
Let's be proud of all the great guys who are creating these watches and running the respective microbrands - thanks Teddy for promoting these entrepreneurs. I think it is good that for entry price level oriented people to show what they can go for and start a collection - Bravo Teddy and Kevin - Greetings from Germany!
Love these videos so much. I do think Christopher Ward could have been well represented here. They have some beautiful dials, some "in house" movements, etc.
I bet he might of liked them ;)
Just picked up a Nodus a few days before this video. Phenomenal watch. Can’t take it off my wrist.
Whoever labeled the chapters was clearly drunk. 😂
notice
GOOD VIDEO. so nice to see mr wonderful , pretty regular guy, great watch guy.his recognition will rocket interest in each piece. great assortment teddy- . ~ JDS/CT
You have to love how charmingly out of touch this guy is - the price of most of these watches is a light lunch to him - he looks so thrilled when he realises he could have a decent, sharp looking watch for what he’d usually pay for a salad - these watches are like an indulgent guilty pleasure for him - a bit like the average collector with Casio’s
400 dollars? Just through it out and get another one!!
So great....fun to see Mr. Wonderful meet up to talk watches. Great video.
"From the nipple of Aphrodite!"......I'll have to remember that.
The Dynamic Duo is back!!!
Excellent video. Very interesting to see him pivot so hard on that GMT.
I just love Mr.Wonderful + Teddy episodes
I ordered my Lander IV GMT last night. Imo best watch in this video, but I was also impressed (and always have been) with Brew.
Thank you very much, Brian!
At what point did Kevin realise that he has been spending ridiculous $$$$ on watches that really are not that much better then what Teddy has shown him?
From what I saw he only buys hyped stuff that retains value, so hes more an investor/speculator than a watch enthusiast.
@hey it's pete I really hate the way he says collection (COLLECZION) as if its some thing exotic. But hey lets be nice. Happy New Year!
