I just did the update yesterday on our 2018 Soul ! And the strange part was it automatically updated with the new SD card. What I mean is I never actually had to select "update " in the menu. It just started the process on its own.
Just a heads up, your full name is viewable when you opened the file on your computer brother....
Have you replaced the long red reflector on the back with an LED, I see you can buy it online and im thinking of doing it myself!

Is this only for the infotainment with navigation? I just got a 2021 GT-line and I don't believe I have navigation unless I'm mistaken. Will be checking tomorrow. If not, is there an update for non navigation units to the updated look?
Is your nav a gen4 or gen5 cause my 17 cadenza looks like that but the update didn't give me the purple Icons

Hey, thanks for the video, but you still didn’t post that video for the error, I downloaded the update on my flash drive, but when I put on car, it said no readable file on flash drive. Do I need to do something with the updates file on my flash ?
If you browse the downloaded files, open the DAUDIO folder, then the CAN folder. You will see the bd_4d folder, change this folder name to only be: bd
That should fix it, that worked for me with the most recent November update.

Just one more question I can only download the update for Middle East and Europe, because for canada and Us not available, do you think it will work if I download for Middle East and use it in Canada ? Sorry about that.

Same I got a 2021 Kia Forte GT and I don’t have Nav I want to see if I can still get I thank ima just go to the dealership one of these days
I went to the dealership yesterday for my oil change and they said they don't have anyone that does that. gave me a paper with the link.. I tried to install it with a flash drive. the update screen said there was no update. Tried the 2020-21 forte.. then tried the 2019 and still no luck.
Look for a video in the next couple days to bypass that error. It’s actually a mistake in the update from Kia. Nothing that you’re doing wrong

my 21 forte gt doesnt have an SD card?? Its recognizing the USB but only plays the music files and doesnt recognize the update files

Man I have a 2019 Kia Forte LXS and I can't do the process with the USB flash drive.. did all the steps but with an SD flash drive and didn't worked... any recommendations?
I have a 2021 and can't either be able to install the update using the USB port. However, the system does recognize the USB drive, but only play sounds found in the USB drive..
