    Great unboxing. Looks promising. I'm more excited about the 2in1. Waiting for full reviews for both.

      Hi verygoodbrother, yes I do plan on covering the new 9000 series, just organising that one now and how that fits in the market.

    Thanks for the real review.
    A nice laptop but the new keyboard without dedicated PgUp/PgDown keys (even tho there's plenty of space for them there) and stupidly placed On/Off button right next to a Delete key is a deal-breaker for me and the reason I wanna go for Latitude 5410 w/ 4-core i7 10610U and low power 300 nit display. Also to still have an AC barrel power cord port (and thus not losing another precious USB for charging) is a benefit...

      my man did you get the 5410? because that is exactly my problam, i am uncertain what to do, to take the 7410 or the 5410.

    One of the deal-breakers for me on a lot of new laptops is when the lid actually lifts up the back of the laptop. It's something I've really never liked the look of, and I don't like how the laptop lid brushes against whatever surface it's lifting against.

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I understand what you mean by that, I think because of there is a 2-in-1 version of this laptop they keep the same hinge design just limiting the angle of degree. For the clamshell version I also wonder it's needed to go pass 180 degree, someone might tell me a situation when it is useful. I also understand not liking having the laptop lid brushing the surface the laptop is on when lid is open pass 70 degree angle.

      One of the reasons cited for the lid lifting the chassis is to improve air flow. Air is drawn in from the bottom and usually dissipated out the back or sides and by lifting the bottom slightly air intake is supposedly improved which leads to cooler components (which in turn improves performance and life span).

    Put a scale there and weight all 3 of these side by side. Also, do a camera/microfone test in full review.

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    it's odd that your units have plastic bottoms, is that a feature of the carbon fibre model, MobileTechReview's units were all aluminium.

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure, it's always painted the same colour as the top side, when I had the Latitude 7400 it was aluminum version but the bottom was still plastic. Not sure if this is just Australian's version we don't get the good stuff or not but I can confirm its plastic at the bottom the Carbon fiber on both 7410 and 7410 2-in-1 I received.

    Just discovered your channel and I really like your style! Do you think this computer would be good with Adobe Premiere? I will be editing videos for TH-cam. Also, I will be using the Windows Office programs. Thank you for your time.

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Welcome to my videos majoraxis, thanks the style I do is just unbox it and see what I get, I might peek at the spec sheet just to see what CPU and RAM and GPU configurations but that's it, I don't look at the ports or pictures, just let it be a surprise =) which makes it fun for me. As for editing for YT with Adobe Premiere yes it can do it but it will start to struggle with 4k video playing in real time and also if you adding a few effects to layers, this is just due to not having a discrete graphics assisting it. If you after also lightness consider the XPS 13 or 15 or even the Lenovo X1 yoga with a discrete graphics. Bare in mind this is fantastic computer still and still perform the task with Premiere it's just suggestions of other computers to also consider.

      Upgrade is worth it this time round for sure, faster processor and way better keyboard IMO plus so far less fan noise.

    Is the carbon fibre panel in 7400 prone to scratches easily?

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually haven't got the carbon fiber Panel in for the 7400 before surprisingly, been mostly getting the aluminum version or the plain plastic version.
