I just got a little baby ivory 3 days ago. So tiny, just 1.5 inches of pure cute. Also, that's fantastic. we actually have cuttlefish bone already due to the calcium for our turtle and thats a great idea.
for my substrate i used zilla jungle mix, earthworm castings, decaying leaves, white rot wood, sphagnum moss, horticultural charcoal, and sprinkled some calcium then mixed it all up.
It gets really got here. Like high 80s maybe 90 indoors. Does the moisture in the enclosure keep the temp tolerable for them? Thanks, anyone with an answer
Is tetramin tropical flakes safe for millipedes? I’m gonna get a phillipino blue a bumble bee and a pill a pede Edit: my mom said no-;( but so did the landlord sooo we’d have to live in the dirt with the millipede if I got one
Awesome care guide. Never seen this species before either so that’s pretty cool
Thanks for watching! They’re a great sp if you don’t have a lot of space 😄

Thanks for watching! Sounds like an awesome mix and hoping you get good success breeding them 😁
I looooove millipedes! Not looking to breed, just keep one or two but I was wondering how often you change the substrate/clean the tank?
They are fun!
I base it off how much substrate to frass (poop lol) there is. I’ll sift out the frass and top it up😁
How do you know if the food in the substrate finished?
That's much better mate. No spiders 😆Got to love millipedes, this species especially. Once you get the ratio right they will breed like rabbits.
I’ve already got some babies cropping up!

A light spray does help you cool down but try to keep lower to the ground
