I don't know any game that does, but while looking for some bhaptics mods, I came across this github page by McFredward. And he created two mods which implement the official katwalk sdk into Blade and Sorcery and Vertigo 2. This would mean you could compare those two games directly between the "official sdk" intergration vs the "default" joystick interpretation by the katwalk software. Just throwing this in the idea-box. I would love to see a video like that.

Really loving my Kat Walk C2+. The immersion in Alyx and Talos Principle is just through the roof. It has problems, but nothing like breaking a sweat inside VR games.
How 1:1 does it feel? Do you feel like you're actually walking in the game or does it feel like you're making a walking motion and that is moving your player forwards?
@@fen4554 The games are not optimized so your speed is not 1:1 to your feet, but on those options the game offers. It tends to lean a bit to left also for some reason, so I'll have to press the calibration button constantly. So lots of flaws, but still very immersive. I really am "walking" in these games. If one doesn't expect it to be perfect, it's pretty damn good way to get some meters to your day.
Wouldn't adjusting your sensitivity settings to max have the opposite effect of what you're wanting? I thought the sensitivity setting is akin to raising the dpi on your mouse.
The roach thing is an old myth. Myth Busters tested it and it turns out Roaches aren't very resistant to radiation. Moths, however, had fairly high resistance to it. So, if any bug could survive well past us in an irradiated wasteland it's moths. Not roaches. It likely spawned from how hard it is to get rid of them. Due to how quickly they can reproduce and their self-sufficient nature (cannibalism). So someone most likely likened the difficulty of getting rid of them to surviving a nuclear Holocaust. The myth is so old though that it's hard to know for sure how it came to be though.

I want to try this on my new Quest 3. I'm a big Resi fan. Played them all. I have a AMD 7900xtx and AV1 codec is supported. I believe AMD 6000 series also supports AV1.

The treadmill you are using is causing a copious amount of pronation in your ankles, couple that with sustained and constant ambulation, you will cause an maladaptive response in your lower chain of activation that will lead to both serious aggravation of the lumbar array and excessive tension in your iliotibial bands. The curvature of the bowl needs to be re-engineered, this product should be taken off the market due to the health issues it will cause. Sorry to state negative anti sales things but this product has serious design flaws that does not take healthy human biomechanics into consideration.
What about prolonged use of the controllers, or wearing a mini brick on your face? Even potential eye issues looking into screens inches or less from your eyes? I imagine any or all of these (and others) could also have a case made by respective experts for potential long term health issues too.

The treadmill in comparison (your ankles support the entirety of your body weight) will cause issues with walking and basic functioning within 3-4 weeks max, based on your genetic predisposition and specific adaptation to imposed demands. @@jklappenbach
I dont think that Horror Games work with LCD Headsets. When you ever played Dread Halls or anything similar on the Oculus Quest One (OLED), you cannot really enjoy the grey mess you get with the newer headsets. It was the pure darkness that freaked me out couple of times (Quest 1) and that is why I still kept it for stuff like that.
Have you tried running either resident evil 2 or 3 wireless via Virtual desktop? If so how did you get it to work? Same goes with this title? I've only been able to run them via cable link. Had to remove the openvr. file and just leave the openxr one in the folder for it work via cable. For virtual desktop I've tried with that file within and removed from the game files but cant get it to run in VR just shows up in theater mode if I can recall. Thanks also
Hated the part where you have to wade through the water! I was always waiting for something to pull me under haha. My favourite horror location was the asylum in Outlast 1. Felt like there was danger around every corner and you can only run or hide, not fight back.

Its not the blast, its the radiation after the fact. Simpler bodies and shorter lifespans make them less vulnerable, a cockroach can survive between six and 15 times the lethal radiation dose for humans. Granted that is prolly true for most bugs
Yes, but does the catwalk stop you from getting motion sick, or have you stopped getting motion sick from repeated exposure? And does it feel like actual walking or do you just feel like you're sliding your feet. If it doesn't do any of these things I can't see why you'd want to go to all that extra effort to use it.
In his review video he said it helped with motion sickness for his wife. Definitely not 1 to 1 walking but it’s the closest we’re getting for a long while. The Infinadeck is proper walking but it’s expensive, huge, and the treads react too slowly and the Virtualizer Elite 2 is sliding but has a flat platform that tilts to make walking feel more natural but it’s also expensive and huge.
@@nosrah9660 I'm not sure "helping" with motion sickness is very reassuring. Plus it seems like he's expending a huge amount of energy "walking" about. If I end up sweating a bucket load each time I play a VR game I probably wouldn't want to get into VR very often.

But yeah that’s the drawback of these “slidemills”, you kinda have to lean forward to initiate each step since you’re not actually going anywhere hence why a perfected Infinadeck would be the ideal. Edit to add that the general feelings around these is that they do up immersion and reduce motion sickness even for those that suffer from it pretty badly.

I can't answer your main question but I'm curious why? If it's motion sickness have you tried any games to get used to moving at your own pace like the fly mode in walkabout mini golf? If you take breaks as soon as you feel it coming on you'll be over it in no time and never have to worry about again. And that game is a great intro to VR since you can go back to teleporting at any time with no consequences.
Hello sir, I have been subbed for about 6 months. My son has down syndrome and enjoys the quest 2. He is high functioning, can read and write, but I am having a hard time finding games that he can play without me constantly having to coach him through them. He played all the walking dead games on the Xbox and beat the Star wars Vader trilogy on the quest 2. Can you suggest some games that he might be able to handle? Appreciate you if you do. A phone processor running a AAA game in VR is a sight to behold , its almost too good to be true :) Only someone who watches Meta shill CC that constantly and ridiculously claim Q3=midrange PC would have to ask. Q3 = 1/.3 GTX 1060 and that is being generous. The equivalent of 1-1.25 TFLOP if you compare it to a PC GPU.

Yeah, the switch is impressive in terms of what it delivers given very limited hardware. Nvidia did an exceptional job with the custom silicon and the programming API is much closer to the hardware than probably anything else available today but it has the advantage of only needing to render low resolutions. Unfortunately VR is mostly limited by the hardware raw performance because of the resolutions required. For that reason standalone VR will never be "good enough" for mainstream gamers who view the current consoles/pc as the standard. You really need 4k per eye even to rival how a 1080p tv looks at typical viewing distance and that out of the question for a standalone device. @@buckythedog
