Remove the subscription service entirely and i will consider buying one
Its not about the fact of what you get or what your withholding with a subscription, it is the pure concept of it in itself
Subscriptions need to die as they only serve to hurt the consumer
I refuse to buy a product from a company, however "optional" the service may be
      Apple repair is "optional"
      Spotify is "optional"

Only available in the US. But I must say I probably would have bought it if it was available in Switzerland and I had the option of a monthly payment. It's a great product, I believe it will know some success but as many have mentioned in the comments the subscription for online games is getting heavy, with every company wanting to do it. They will have to explain the full benefits of the subscription ti potential clients. I ordered a Meta Quest 3 recently, I will see what accessories I feel are necessary or that I simply want, ounce I've tried it for a while.

I just want the Omni one instead of the katwalk because it seems like a significantly better design, but the way they keep screaming their "dedicated ecosystem"; don't get me wrong, having an available headset with integrated compatibility with the extremely niece apparatus and an ecosystem designed specifically for it is beneficial, but 99% of people going to buy this already have 1-2 (or more) headsets that they want to use it with. And not everyone is willing to drop $2.6k (almost $3k after shipping) for 1/3 of that to be for a headset (with its own dedicated ecosystem that costs $14/month to play those incredibly small player base games online (the Omni one costs 3 times more than the katwalk, VR treadmills are pretty rare in VR, VR itself is quite uncommon; and most people even thinking about a buy like this are looking to use it with a headset they already have)) they're probably not going to use. I'm not trying to say it needs to drop the headset or the ecosystem (because of details like the integration), but offer a "slimmed down" version that doesn't include the headset at a cheaper price.

My problems with this product (and no I am not hating on the company this is legit constructive criticism):
-If this is oriented to the experienced VR user, they are already going to have their go to VR headset and would not want another when using with a VR threadmill (especially because of cost, money would just be sitting when a VR headset that is doing nothing)
-Subscription, just no. I saw in a comment it was mentioned that it was specifically for multiplayer games and by extension for the software that runs all this; but I think that most people (including myself) don't see how a subscription for this is reasonable (maybe it is, but that has to be properly explained), TBH I don't think it is, especially with the going price of this device.
-This should be made so it can be added to any platform to be used as a peripheral, such as being paired to a quest or being added as one of the devices in SteamVR to use in game.
-i am not sure I am sold on how foot movement is translated to ingame movement (maybe I am miss interpreting it), but 2 sensors passing each to track movement sounds like it may have tracking issue with slower foot movement (sneaking in game).
