Can't believe you didn't do Perthronn the Carpenter's quest, you started it when you broke his table. It gives you a cookbook at the end. You can craft another table.
well i guess whats missing is that once you craft the other table Perthronn will die from despair seeing that his skill isnt irreplicable and you will get his armor set
I don't know if you'll see this but it often feels like you're one of the last truly great video game content creators on the platform. Every time I see a new upload in in my notifications I already know it's gonna be great, and not to say you had a "bad" start but thinking back on when I was watching your Top Dark Souls Rocks video back in middle school it's insane how far you've grown as a content creator. Not even halfway through this video and I'm already excited for whatever's coming next.
i love how he spent a ton of the hardest fights in the armor that raises your damage but gives you a light calamity ring effect, what a chad, I was not brave enough to do that for the bloody crow of cainhurst drip.
Gotta say, I appreciate you choosing to wait a week to drop this video, at least by now most people have actually had time to play through it on their own.
You've inspired me to do a bad rats build with the giant rats, which I will plan meticulously, collect the items for, then fight one or two bosses and never touch again
In the empty village in the secret area you can find the tree healing spell Melina uses. And it's description states that it is (on some level) the village Marika was raised in. Also Miquellas kiss marks you, and if he does it while you're marked it insta-kills you

most of the people who said its too hard probably are hardliners who want to feel skilled by restricting their play to the very core. theres a lot you can do and if you use all options only the last boss is quite something imho.
@@LaymensLament Most of the big bosses for me went "oh wtf give me a second to breathe!" to "oh this was easy.." once I used ashes. Held off on watching until I finally beat the DLC, but great video! I especially love how you present the song names for your inserted music during certain fights.
I think you sound like, you. I love the way you give voices to the giant rats, enemies, and some npc's. When I hear your voice I hear nothin but Indiemaus, and getting to hear your version of Blinding Nights is an absolute treat.
One thing about the DLC is that I cant imagine playing it over and over. Between the super-spammy enemy placements and the overly complex map geometry, I just cant see myself having too much fun on subsequent playthroughs
@@Rubi1007 you're right 😅 But this first playthrough has still been quite fun. Maybe I'll make a new character and run it one more time in the future, because this NG+7 damage is no joke 😭 And is making it... not so fun haha

Man I can't express in words how fucking cool the Sign of Evil OST is, and how well Indei/Editor makes it work in the videos. Also, Giant Rats are always a pleasant surprise.

Giant Rats: I'm watching Max's playthrough of the DLC, and I can't help but noticed you went to Messmer way later than him. It's super nice to see different playthroughs and the way they progress, that some bosses are either harder or easier in comparison. Keep up the amazing work as always, I wish we had people reacting to your content and sharing the words of Rat King.
Fun vid as always! Hope you had a good time! It's wild seeing other peoples' experiences with the DLC so far. I did the whole thing in the dark, in offline mode, but my build is Greatshields and Clayman Harpoon, so I had the ability to hold up against like... everything. The knight in the first Gaol took me two tries, the final boss and Messmer both took me four tries, the Divine Beast took me two, and every other boss I beat on the first go. I feel like my fights were probably a bit slower, but way way safer, and I came out of the DLC feeling like it was easier on me than the main game was somehow... ...then I saw the internet, and there's all these SUPER intense fights like yours out there with people like... actually dodging, and if they take a hit they EAT it. Feels like a separate DLC from mine, for sure. Hahaha Good work though! You did it, Elden Ring conquered!

For me its the “oh my god…look at this ladda” i die every time in any game, i even say it when playing games or when i see ladders out in the wild.
There's even a talisman that buffs you when your summons die. It's perfect for all those giant rats!
