Threat is produced with breath of fire, keg smash, breath of fire, keg smash, then breath of fire. Use this rotation to keep aggro. You pop your brews in there to stagger damage. If you run bob and weave you generate larger shields. Overall rotation above with breath of fire you will not loose threat.
Been a brew main since it came out in MOP. I’m just not feeling it this expac, being as squishy as they are just doesn’t feel like a ‘tank’ to me and it kinda sucks, but I’ll probably still play it anyway 🤷🏼♂️ you and equinox are the only brewmasters I regularly watch
How does your Tiger Palm and Blackout sequence macro work so fluently? Mine is always stuck on Tiger palm even when blackout kick is up and stuck on blackout kick when its on cd
Hi, thanks for the vid! These commentary are the best source of info I have found so far for brewmasters. Could you please share your weakauras? Looks neat
I don't know how it is for those of you who play brewmaster monk, but for me it's difficult, people don't accept brewmaster in the group, they just want druid or dkblood. Sen say that the monk Brewmaster is in need of a buff.
Man... I've decided to play brew as my third character, my main is Guardian and my second char is Bdk (for Ovi'nax prog purposes mostly) but holy hell I feel soooooo squishy it's not even funny. I'm at 619 ilvl with full crit versa gear and I struggle a lot in 10s, while I was able to run them without too many issues with both Druid and DK even at 605 or so. It feels like if the healer isn't perma healing me I just can't tank a pack for more than a few seconds. I legit feel bad while playing it, often wondering if it's me doing something wrong, or not understanding how the spec works, but idk I feel like I do what I'm supposed to but simply lack the ability to mitigate the damage like I do on the other classes. I used to main Brew during BfA, got multiple CEs on the class and I feel like I'm a total clown while playing it now. What the heck happened to this class? lol
@@nickperez1577 Somewhat. Im still around 619 ilvl (havent crafted anything yet...) and I can run 10s kinda smoothly now, but I still take like 3x more damage than other classes and healers often complain they have to heal me like its a full time job. My healers friends are always annoyed when i wanna run weekly keys on my monk. I've found a build I am comfortable with and im learning with experience in which packs i need what cooldowns, if that makes sense. It still takes like 5x more effort than playing bdk or especially druid for me tho. I cant help but think that by playing monk instead of something else im actively making life harder for my team and I dearly miss the good old days when monk was turbo tanky like in Eternal Palace (BfA). Current iteration of monk is fun to play in terms of moment to moment gameplay but I honestly feel like they need to buff stagger effectivness by like 50% of what it is currently to be on par with other tanks.. PS: The tank trinket from the Court raid boss helps tremendously with tankiness in m+ of you can get your hands on it, it's pretty much like an extra defensive cooldown.
Hey Sha real quick, would you say DBM helps beginners in terms of what you have to do in dungeons/raids like moving, using a defensive, or soaking something etc? Also can I have your AOE taunt macro for BOS pretty please :)
@@L0uk7 I prefer to push damage instead of healing. I trust my healers to keep me healthy, and I prefer to use Vivify as a spot heal for myself or others.
If the timer expires, it does lethal damage to your group. Sometimes the boss spell que-ing prevents him from being able to step on all three, so the tank, or a sturdy DPS needs to step on the bomb to prevent the wipe. Alternatively, the tank can try to walk a cleaver over a bomb as well.
You know your twitch link has a comma in it, so it does not work. It is like this in a few videos I watched...just removed the comma but some people may not.
@@7Drasch7 I use the Tiger Palm and Blackout Sequence macro, but I do not use the Breath of Fire and Keg Smash Sequence Macro. This is mainly due to comfort with my keybinds in their current state. I recommend players use those sequence macros if they are feeling overwhelmed with the rotation

How often do you use vivify & expel harm? I have to kite and use it constantly for almost every pull to survive in low keys. Im very new to brew though.
Vivify can be used often, generally after using Celestial Brew, as long as you are running the instacast talent. Expel Harm should be used when very low health, and with multiple Ox Orbs available to prevent over healing

How come you rarely use vivify in a fight? Is it that bad/low in prio? I feel like I basically always want to press it to heal myself..

What is causing the frontal at the second boss to have highlighted outlines?
It was a hot fix from Blizzard. Absolute game changer
Can you do like a master class Ring of Peace video? I feel like a lot of us are not using it to it’s potential like you seem to be
according the the Peak of Serenity discord there is no threat bugs for Brewmaster
Pretty sure he meant a terrain bug and the aoe from keg smash didn’t register on the wooden platform, which has been a thing since bfa
Late to the party, but what addons are you using in general? Really like your UI
Bartender, WeakAuras, Details, SexyMap are the main few I use.
Why you soak the bomb at the first Boss? Does it do aoe dmg if it goes off without touching?

Do you tend to run the same talents? Found myself going a bit too deep with it all lately.
@bazferp I've been mixing it up a bit, but generally when pugging I lean defensively. Mostly a static tree though
@@Sha_IRL hear about people not running dampen and diffuse, they're better than me. I need that stuff 😂
where can i get ur brew master weakaura
What is the add on with the spell countdown queue?
It's a Weak Aura called "Raid Ability Timeline"
How do you have the ability time line for the dungeon trash?
DBM Dungeons addon
just in time for my friends key ty
Good luck!
