    I live in Virginia and ccs carbs in va beach. Guy really cares about his product. I got a 650 hp style main body from him. Its actually 650 cfm. Not 750 ish that proform and others pass off. I got a proform main body stamped 650 on it. Its identical to my 750. I highly recommend rich at ccs carbs. He tailor made that main body for me

    you are spot on with the larger carb and jetting.. larger venturi produce lower velocity and there fore less head pressure in the main well.. Now get tuning to the air bleeds.. Good Job Man.

    Nice job !
    She has a lot of vacuum ! Nice !
    Float adjust that I found that works very well is from David vizzard
    Turn the fuel bowl upside down and use a number 2 pencil adjust it so it just touches the pencil she will be very close ..
    Nice job brother!!

      This isn't new info, and it's nothing vizard came up with. Using a 3/8 drill bit has been around forever. But, it's all a moot point because you adjust it with the engine running anyway. If you're going to be checking it anyway, you may as well adjust it. It's only 2 screws

    Excelente, para un motor Chevrolet 5.7 350 con leva de calle y pistones lt1 es posible un carburador 850 cfm o demasiado grande

  • @pablojanski.2559

    Actually, the QFT ( and Brawler) 950 Does not flow 950 cfm.. I have tested the flow rates on the flow bench and they come in right in the 830 cfm range.. So it will work very well for a streeter.. and once you go 4.125 bore sb and larger, you will never look at a 4 inch bore again. LOL

    you can save yourself a lot of time by adjusting float level dry with a ruler then fine tune it running

    • @lollipop84858
      @lollipop84858 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How does that save time? In order to do what you say, you have to take the carb off and take the ends off it. That's way more work than just giving it some dry and getting it running then finally setting them.

    I have and lt1 to that high compression solid roller that I’m having really bad problem with my Holley ultra 850 going super lean after I get down on it through a run then let off and it leans out and wants to dye. The part throttle is bad to. Do you have any suggestions? Oh and the floats are good the fuel system is good to. I just installed a return system so fuel isn’t an issue

    I hope to get help. I have a 67 cougar. It has a 650 double pumper Holley carb. It was jetted from the previous owner. I run rich. It backfires til the engine is hot. I put a spacer under the carb. Helped a little. How do I know that the carb is too big for this engine. Running a 302, with edlebrock heads. Any help would be appreciative.

    Didn’t show anything about transition slot. Probably the most important part of setting up initial start up.

    Hey man I just scooped a brawler 750 dp for my crate zz4 355. Elevation is at sea level. It keeps loading up at take off. Crack the throttle it shits the bed then takes off. You said you jetted up in the video. Any suggestions?

    • @stuckcase7775
      @stuckcase7775 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Transition is not right
      Your transition slot is overly open
      It should be set no more than 30 thousandths
      When you adjust your course idle too far you bypass your idle circuit and lose the transition fuel from your accelerator circuit
      This causes you to go lean when your butterflies open causing your bog
      Once the main metering comes in your engine fuel ratio catches up and you take off

    • @lollipop84858

      Don't listen to that other guy, it's your accelerator pump shot. Play with that

      That is fine only thing you have to worry about is the signal at idle will be really strong. It may load up at idle unless you can get adjust the low speed air bleeds. Just keep an eye on your plugs if they get super fat like black then the idle air may need work.
