    MY GOD, I LOVE THIS!!
Finally I find someone else here who also appreciates the
    "INTERNATIONAL SCOUT"
    beside me.
Most young folks Today when you tell them about a SCOUT will have no clue what's you're talking about!
I would call it HEAVEN to be able to:
    (1) Buy Land OFF THE GRID,
    (2) Build my RESTORATION SHOP,
    (3) RESTORE as many SCOUTS as
    I could find.
I remember a few things about the SCOUT:
    (1) IF you have a SCOUT with a
    "V-8",
    A "JEEP" V-8 is a direct
    Bolt in,
But you would have to change
    out the "CARBURETOR",
    Because JEEP used a
    "CARTER DESIGN",
    INTERNATIONAL used a
    "HOLLEY DESIGN" carb.
    (2) I vaguely remember hearing
    how you also use a
    "FORD 9-INCH" if you need
    DIFFERENTIALS/AXLES.
    (3) In the old days, a nickname we
    had for the INTERNATIONALS
    was:
    "CORNBINDERS",
    (4) They were some of the
    Meanest OFF ROADERS
    I EVER SEEN.

I love the style of this old internationals,,,
I wouldnt change anything on the blue one,,,just make it mechanically sound ,, put some 7,50 R16 tires on it ,,,and thats it.
Maybe a spring over on the axles...
    Thanks for the video Dude.

A lot of Internationals on the Tube lately. I like them, I have to say. Looking forward to the project, and thanks to Backyard for introducing me to your channel. 👍

Just found your channel and subbed. I had a 63 Scout 80 half cab that was a former Arkansas Game and Fish truck it was in great condition like yours. I now have a 60s Scout 800 that I will be building someday. I just recently located 2 more Half Cab 80s at a junk yard that I can pick up cheap. I will be watching your progress. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve learned years ago, you can’t have just one Scout.

Hey buddy, came across your video searching scout videos. I bought a scout terra a few months back. It's a 1980 factory nissan turbo diesel 4 speed that was swapped out to a 392 by the dealer who sold it new. The diesel gave so many problems the dealer eventually did a swap with the 392 because they had one in a crate collecting dust in the back of the tractor repair shop. I'm new to scouts and enjoy watching anything about them. Looks like at least your parts scout is a fold down windshield possibly both of them. Those bodys are getting really hard to find. I think you have enough to build 2 scouts especially if you build one kinda stripped down rally style. Just a thought. Just wanted to wish you luck on your project if you completed one task per day you will be surprised how fast things come together. Good luck and,
    God Bless

That's a crazy story about your scout! I'm definitely planning on making something out of my parts scout, just trying to work on one at a time!
      Glad you liked the video!

It might be I'll beat up on the outside but that thing is solid underneath. No trucks have really gained a lot of popularity recently and that prices on them even in that condition are insane. One thing that is nice is a lot of aftermarket support for the broncos. Comes down how much money you want to spend.

I believe you can contact the Wisconsin historical society directly, or ih parts America sells the line set ticket, it costs $20 and it takes them a couple days and they'll try to find the ticket for your scout
