@@Subgunman you can use a meter to see the maximum amperage the cells can give and determine the amperage in the fuse. if the battery can give 50amps a 45 amp fuse is just fine.
Hell yeah, lets kill fuse, because, you know, those stupid engineers. Aaaaand, LiPO batteries are not known to be very safe and never explode or caught fire or something like that you know, especially on such a top end brand like Parkside... But if you only use tin without that wire then the fuse should work but it would be more sensitive I think I only used tin and when the battery was plugged it stopped working
There is still a lot of thin copper spores that will burn before the battery exploded. As long as there is no direct Short circuit its not gonna explode. And if you remove after use, it’s completely save.
@@jonaslandsbergis311 wrong, the OEM fuse in the battery pack is 3A fuse. You could use 5A fuse but the cables inside the battery pack and tool could get hot and melt under high load.

NOT DO THAT!! The metal sheet is a current sensor in order to protect the power pack. If you try to add some solder alloy on it you will reduce the internal resistance and the short circuit current will be higher. Danger of Li Ion batery explosion!!!
@ And I think it's an ordinary fuse, just like the ones found in cars etc., protecting battery from going over it's C rating which can cause nice swelling at best and fiery display at worst. soldering the wire is not a good idea. I soldered a 30A car fuse. It's is a solution.
this was a "romanian" solution. It is said that "where you can tie with wire it is a shame to put a screw"
How did you determine what size fuse to use? Seems a lot for the battery.
