Good way to bring batteries back to life. I have already tried the 1st trick on different batteries. Successfully! But then I connect the cables for 10 seconds and then I immediately put the battery in the charger. I have tried different brands, including Gardena, Parkside and Bosch.

0.5mm² or 0.75mm² are enough but if your battery is drained more, just add a 55W headlight bulb between one wire so the current flows through the bulb so it doesn't charge with high current which can damage the cells. And don't leave the batteries unattended while doing this!!!
Well, one of my 4Ah Parkside batteries wouldn't charge, so I connected it to a known good 2Ah battery (minimizing replacement cost...) Left them outside, connected together for half an hour, both charge indicators showed "full" after that, but they did accept a few minutes charge. Must see if the 4Ah job performs OK now. I bought a couple of adaptors for Parkside batteries, and they make connecting batteries together so easy...

Basically, 18V and 20V batteries consist of 5 cells. That is, the nominal voltage of both batteries is 18.5V, but Parkside decided to mark them as 20V. Battery capacity doesn't matter but to be safe make the current flow through some kind of consumer eg H1 lamp but should not be left unattended!!!
Hi! The first method work when I have 2 different type of battery? I want to use my 20 V battery to recharge my bad 16 V. Both of them Parkside product. Many Thanks!
There should be some kind of low voltage cut off device to protect the battery from this; such low voltage cut off can be either in the battery itself or in the device that is supplying the load to the battery.
BEWARE of using older parkside batteries on other tools, all 20v parkside tools have a bms and cell balancing, BUT it does not test or prevent over discharge, if you over discharge a parkside battery, the protection chip in the battery will lock out the battery forever! it will not send 'handshake' to charger to start charging. its a safety feature of the bms IC to protect us from fire, not to increase company profit.. also recharging the cells 1 by 1 will not unlock it I have spent hours doing this, I have tried many parkside boards etc as I built a full 50mph+ e-motorcycle from parkside cells so i have a lot of the boards

The charger doesn't even output power when plugged into socket, until apparently it 'talks' to battery to do some form of a handshake (I guess board in battery has to give OK to be charged or charger doesn't start when voltage of battery is below certain level). I don’t see how charging the individual cells one by one could affect the bms. I charged the low voltage cells too and it works fine now. Now you can just remove the bms, wire a ballancer connector and use a small battery monitor, I guess you probably know that.

Thank You🙏🙂🤝🤝🤝
Can you help me with the problem of not charging the green and red light is blinking, knowing that all cells are balanced
Try charging with 21V power supply. This is how it should work, if it doesn't work then there is a problem in the BMS itself.
@@ErCanEverything where to buy spare parts? i need a bms for 8ah battery. cells are ok
I was also looking for them, but they are nowhere to be found🤷♂️
Funktioniert! Danke!
If you charge manually charge with 1A each cell for the safety.
Hi,I've done such by pass charging on the bms with imax b6 but it apparently fucked up the bms:indees after some time (one hour or so), it beeped and could not recognize the charge anymore. That happened with SEVERAL bms, despite low-current charge (may be 0.2A approx.).Any ID? Short circuit ?
I don’t see how charging the individual cells one by one could affect the bms. I charged the low voltage cells too and it works fine now. Now you can just remove the bms, wire a ballancer connector and use a small battery monitor, I guess you probably know that.
If the red en green light is blinking. And I leave it for a day or 2 will be the battery self balance again? I just bought a new accu and this is what I get.
I have a PAP 20 A3 2020-03 battery from which I made a 20,000mAh Power Bank that has no discharge protection and several times discharged to a critical level and did not charge. In the evening I left it in the charger and in the morning I see that it has been charged. I mean, it turned out to be a very successful battery.

Hi,
what does it mean when the battery charger parkside lights up red?
It means it is charging and once it is charging it will lights up green
The Cell dropped to 2,95 will be always unbalanced compared to the other or not?
Thank you
can I use 24 volt car charger to wake these batteries up
it's a bit risky because a 24V charger generates 28.8V. But if you make the current pass through some kind of load resistor or some kind of lamp and monitor the voltage to the battery, it shouldn't exceed 21.6V
@@ErCanEverything what about if I post them over to you with payment in advance
hello i have same problem. but im in willage and i dont have second cordless drill or etc. and i dont have tool you have so is there any other way to solve this problem. like charge it with 220 to 12v adaptor or somthing like this. i have only two batteries car battery and tv remote 😂😂😂
Ask from a friend.
Exactly my problem
I had the same problem, and fixed it by charging manually each cell with some chinese charging controller for li ion batteries, this cost me only 60cent.
I'm glad you restored the batteries
My 20V Pack from Parkside (old Gen.) only shines the orange light (in the middle of green and red) when I press the test button and also doesn't charge - Could you please tell me what could be wrong here? Best Regards Toms
What are the names of the blue and red cord to use?!
🙄😉
Isn't the "Cell Balancing charger" supposed to balance the cells automatically!?
I am very glad if I was able to help you with this video. The charger cannot balance the battery because it has 2 power terminals and 1 ID. Balancing is done inside the battery's BMS.
Greetings from Bulgaria
@@ErCanEverything Thank you very much for the reply!
So the cheap 2ah and 4ah 20v batteries only have 2 prongs for charging and 1 for sensing is that correct?
So does that mean the new high performance smart [4ah and 8ah] can be automatically balanced by the [cell balancing charger]
If so that would be terrific!
How long i need to leave them together
I have one that been drain down from the grinder won't charge anymore any idea how to fix this I did try the loop from another battery but still don't want to charge
