💥In this video I will measure the consumption of a faulty Parkside Smart Battery BT module, that is beyond repair.

You found a good way to relieve stress.😅
😂😂😂
0.3V * 0.016A = 0.0048 W. that's less than 0.1W of standard 0603 resistor. I think the BT module failed first and that's what burned the resistor. anyway, BT battery in this case is a stupid idea. it doesn't add any value. 👍
I think that Parkside (Grizzly tools) will gain insight into the use of their tools (know your customer) through this "smart" addition (Phone home smart charger). Respect for Ercan for the way of making film, the message comes across clearly :-) Kudos to the investigative journalism ***** We all benefit from this in the end.
I have another question, do you have any clue which might be the cause of bt module failing?
This problem seems to be systematic as long as so many people have it.
For example I suspect that is related to bt module firmware update. I have two batteries and tried to make bt firmware update. For one it worked for thew other it didn't (and have the problem described in your videos, 3V3 and that resistor gone, overheating, etc).
Have you discovered the behavior of the battery after removal of the BT module without disconnection of the whole BMS? Does it remember the last setup of the battery shut off parameters? I am considering to remove BT modules from new batteries. It would be fine if it remembered the ECO preset, which I prefer for 4 Ah battery (for maximum performance I use 8 Ah batteries).
👍👍👍👍
I have one question, do you know if those modules can be brought from somewhere?
I have a battery with the same bluetooth module dead.
I'm sure it's available on Aliexpress but I haven't researched it.
@@ErCanEverything I searched for it but didn't find where from to buy it.
Only some datasheets, etc.
I also have an issue with my battery and in about to hammer it down, theres just i cell Bat- and Bat1 that is unbalanced from the other cells, the bms doesn't balance that cell in particular and keeps it 0.40v below the others, could this be caused by the Bluetooth module?
This is not from the bluetooth, try to balance them using CC/CV power supply and after a while the voltage lags behind the others, so these cells are damaged or check for signs of wetness on the board.
Hello my fryends !Diz paste plz name ?
6:55 I can see where things go 😂😅🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Could you tell me how many mAh the batteries in the 8Ah battery pack are? 2500mAh?
They are 4000mAh battery type 21700.
👋👋👋
Hello my Friend👋🙂🤝
Почему они выходят из строя ?
I removed the bluetooth shit of my batteries hopefully they last longer now
already tested in poland, if the stabilizer fails without the bt module on the way, it will burn the microprocessor and then bye bye battery. 3.3v stabilizer is the culprit.
@@pawelw.9172 and how solve this problem?
When do you get payed be parkside?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Parkside only pays Arnold
Wy have those battery?
Parkside still sell non bluetooth models.
Wow, thanks for this. I am currently looking into fixing 2 broken batteries myself. Is there any danger to the batteries or circuit when I remove the Bluetooth module?
I worked without removing the BMS to show you a quick example, but you must remove the BMS to work safely.
Otherwise, the consequences may be severe!
This is the first part: th-cam.com/video/Ff7R3xeQ6hc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rayba_PenxdOjM63
Could you tell me what parts I have to remove for that ?
You need replace 7533-1 and R44 20 Ohm resistor and Remove BT Module
@@ErCanEverythingi cant find 7533-1.
Is there any similar code?
For example a 3,3v regulator at 1Ah would do for the job?
@@user-zg8yw7uz7c Whatever 3.3V regulator you can find will work
I haven't a clue what I've just witnessed. Parkside batteries don't have bluetooth in. And why would you need it? Just plug the battery into the strimmer and get on with it...
The Smart batteries have
@@levieleuterio And they tell your phone that they're out of juice? You notice that yourself when your strimmer slows down and even more so when it stops - no computer app needed there, and most people use both hands with power tools and can't use their phones at the same time, so they know long before they've looked at their phones... Quite pointless and a waste of time...
@@rbee3936 You can change the discharge voltage and the max discharge amps. You don't need to use the app when you use the battery
😂😂😂😂😂
