now you know why I love time attack racing just wished we had more road rally races here in the states since we have so many great roads here that we would have a blast on and challenge us on our times to complete the course's.
What up Miguel, loving the content. Word of advice from someone who’s tracked an evo for a while. Get better rotors and pads. Look at Giro Disc or DBA rotors and Feredo pads. Those R1 rotors and pads are fine for the street but are not adequate for track use. You’re leaving performance on the table. Trust me with better brakes your confidence behind the wheel will significantly increase.
Yeah r1 is inexpensive so good for street, but taking it to track they had stress cracks all around. Running DBA now, a little more expensive but way higher quality.
More advice, from another evo owner that tracks quite a bit. You can use the e brake after a session. The e brake on the evo runs off a drum design that is separate from the brembo calipers. The riaction coilovers are an ok option for now, but if you plan on tracking a lot and/or getting serious about the track stuff, then buy ohlins or fortunate autos (and yes, I already looked on riactions website). Don't roll your front windows up at all (even partially) when you're on track. Get some castrol SRF brake fluid and some hawk hp+ pads for now, and you should be able to outgrow those pads after 3-4 track days. Lastly, i'm glad you enjoyed it!
So cool seeing you out on track Miguel!! Hell yeah!! I been doing NasaUT for 10 years, some quick pointers that never hurt to hear again when starting at the track for the first time. - Run distilled water with water wetter - Motul or anything higher boiling point brake fluid so it won't boil. - Stainless steel lines if you're not already running them. - Aluminum Radiator / oil cooler - Good racing pads Lastly get as much seat time as possible. You don't need power to go faster, seat time is the most important thing!
Glad you enjoyed the track, I started going again last year after a 10 year break. Come out to the Golden Gate Lotus Club event @ streets of willow in October 2022, they host some of the best events with lots of track time and lower driver counts.
Damn that track is literally so close to me but I never have time to go 😪 I stay in Palmdale and streets of willow is in Rosamond! Just above Lancaster aha
Imo a camera view first person pov would look better than the 360 since it’s more immersive or maybe a camera facing forward between the driver and passenger seat 💯
Broooo whoever told you to just use the 91 tune failed you. Stick with e85 on track days and just tune the boost down. Forget twin disks tho lol I hated mine that was on my galant vr4. Action 6 puck sprung is the way to go. Road racing is the best tho for sure.
@@MiguelDsm plus I really wanna see if the evo swap makes the eclipse able to handle as well. Plus the lightweight, bullet shaped body. In theory the thing should be killer!

Huge difference vs being on the street. Definitely will be going back

Great vlog buddy .,...good seeing you and the Evo on the track...
Thank you man 🙏🏻 plan on going back for more seat time
Love the track day video, should definitely do more of these !
honestly, for a turbo id reccomend anything in the g30 line. like a g30 770 might be good for a bigger track like youre on

hold a track day at streets!!!! i would make the trip for sure.

Great video congratulations!😉 Your Evo is a dream car I love it so much😍
Thank you!
That 360 felt like I was playing Forza lol Nice set up man! love watching ur videos and that Grey is A1 on that Evo!
It’s such a dope angle! I might end up wrapping it in the future.. not sure how I feel about the gray yet haha
I’m new to the channel. You gained an subscriber. Awesome vlog content 🔥🔥🔥🔥🏎Did you upgrade the stock turbo?
Thanks! Stock evo 9 turbo
Hopefully, when my Evo is back to track worthy, we can chase each other at SoW.
Miguel le puedo hacer las mismas modificaciones a un eclipse del 2003 q al tuyo
Si pero el motor de 3g no aguantara lo que puede un motor 4g63
Damn that does look like fun!
Come down to Cali for an event. You’re not down 👀
Hopefully one day we can see the DSM on the track one day
Maybe one day..
Dope as always💯
Thanks Jays 🙏🏻
what wheels are those, would look insane on my V
Gramlights 57DR
Gorgeous car man, I dream of having an Evo 9 but I’m not spending 40k on a car from 06 😂 especially considering I can only afford to have 1 car atm
Yea same here. I can afford another track car. But for 40k rather get something newer that I can daily drive in comfort. Probably get a 1le camaro
Wheel specs on Evo
Why not the eclipse?

Hi Academi 🙂
you drive like you've done this before, what are you a wheelman?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
😎👍
Saludos bro! Hoy sale el de español
You need to get rid of those sponsor parts and get some quality parts for road racing.
Is awd Einstein , you don't need that much drag 🤦♂️
