You were blessed with that 13th Colony at the end because you did right by that lady by being honest about the Stagg Jr. The bourbon gods were pleased! Lol!
It doesn't matter if you can find the bourbon there if they are charging $1,000 for a $150 dollar bottle MSRP. Blantons Single Barrel for $200 before tax? No thanks....
@afkafk129 i understand what you're saying but that only matters if the stuff sells. By the look of those tags, it's not selling. You still want to be as close as possible to MSRP.
Got a bottle of Stagg last week at Kroger a mile from my house in Lexington, KY. Paid $65. Buffalo Trace is 26.99. Crazy prices for this stuff, regardless of availability.
Appreciate your honesty on that Stagg, I've had that happen several times on bottles priced too low or not for sale and probably saved someone's precious job. My hat is off to you my friend 👍💯😉
Wow brother that was a great find on the 13th colony double oak!!! Congratulations on that!! This was also another great hunt video keep them coming cheers!!

As a member of the Augusta Bourbon Society, hit me up before you come through again. You visited A&M (next to the Kroger) in your last video and talked about the points system they had. I used only 400 points last week and was able to get an 11 year old Purple Top
Grear vid and concept! Indeed never judge a book by its cover. I have found some of my best bottles in stores with questionable storefronts. Congrats on scoring the 13th Colony DO and Im going to keep an eye out for some Grander Rum!
I understand the guy giving out all the samples. I do the same at my store. I got 30+ barrel picks open and maybe 80 other bottles for anyone to try. Always fun to talk to people about whiskey
I love it when you shout out Slipknot. I have been following you for a while but I have been following them since 1999. I know they work with Cedar so I would LOVE to see a video with you and Clown... Make it happen brother
We’ve tried several of the J. Mattingly products. A few are a bit over oaked. But overall it’s an interesting producer making some good stuff. You can also customize your own blend. As stated in a previous comment they are across the road from BT. Great video and we definitely need to hit GA and Macon in particular!
Hey Hunter that was a marathon for sure ,,, the store owner that gave you all them samples is awesome guy ,,,, that would be my go to store if I lived there ,,,,,, By the way I love Penelope Valencia ,,,,, I'am looking for mostly store picks these days .... I found some bottle I've been looking for this week. Stagg(24B), Russell's Reserve Single Rickhouse (Camp Nelson B), Michter's 10yr Straight Rye, Knob Creek 18 and an Elmer T Lee. I also found several Blantons ($65) and Eagle Rare ($31) which I pick up just because. All the bottles were at msrp. Anyway, I really enjoy your channel and learn something all the time. Keep up the good work and Happy Hunting!!!! 🥃
I will never understand how liquor stores can stock so much allocated bourbon at such high prices and just let it sit there for months and even years. I bet if they priced it at MSRP or at a reasonable price, they will get more customers who will purchase additional bottles as well.
I was just in Macon (staying at hotel), but I was working in Perry. On my drive back to the Pensacola area, I stopped in Americus, GA, and visited the 13th Colony Distillery. Scored a Cask Strength Rye 'Holiday Release." Then found a 13th Colony Double Oaked in Dothan, AL for $149.99. Sometimes, the bourbon gods have their eye on you.
Hi @bourbon_hunter and viewers, dig the content: any recommendations for a butterscotch bomb or a caramel bomb? Many thanks ! Appreciate the hunting vids, cool to see what is avail for sale in your travels. All the best
Jypsi is Eric Church's whiskey and they say it's good, I just don't like the price. Good price on Penelope. The Estate 9 year is great. I would've tried to negotiate on the Coy Hill too. You like Fiddler, but not Bardstown High Wheat? That dude was trying to get you drunk lol.

Got that 13th Colony DO at MSRP! Good sh*t! I took one to the LiquorLand drop this past weekend and shared it with good friends of mine, ended up killing it. Luckily I have a few back ups! Enjoy
@Bourbon_Hunter always! Good bourbon is meant to be shared. I was super luck to be able to have 4 of them. 2 I traded for and the other 2 I got at MSRP.
Iv'e never paid secondary price for any bourbon. I buy great bourbon & rye off the shelves between $50-$100.. I think I would pay $200 for that 13th Colony DO. The reviews are off the charts. Great bourbon hunting again.
@Bourbon_Hunter Yep! I almost needed an Uber. Plus, I couldn't decide what to get. I ended up with a Woodford Double Oaked pick, Hirsch pick, and the Elijah Craig pick

Geez my store sells Stagg Jr for $59.99. Hahaha that one store you mentioned Brewzle is hilarious. Let me guess Patel Cartel. I hope his distributor blacklists his shop from any and all future allocated bourbon
@Knifeandbrass I just got 24C for 59.99. My store also had its own stagg jr barrel picks. 2 picks at 135 and 141 proof, but it was part of a raffle and wait in line drop. I was 15th in line, and it was gone. But I got a Pappy 10 for $149.99. It was a backup Pappy 10 '24, but I traded it for a Rock Hill Farm, Blantons Gold, and Jack Daniels 10 Batch 1.
Bruh don't get me started on the Patels around here. It's disgusting what they've done to the local liquor region around here without a care in the world.
