Hi Everyone - I’d like to offer a massive apology as for some reason the comments function was turned off on this video. Thanks to some of my lovely subscribers I was made aware of this and I’ve now fixed it. Please consider leaving your comments as I asked for in the video and the thumbnail. This will NOT happen again and I’ve learnt a tough lesson. Thanks for all your support. David & Daisy😀🐶
Thanks Megan. I get comments like yours a lot about my furniture. People get worried about, paint colour, hardware etc but when they see the finished piece they change their mind. I’m glad you liked it 😀😀😀👍
This piece looks completely different. Much better looking now. The legs fit the looks as do the pulls. Love your creativity process and Daisy is delightful ❤
Awesome job, can't fault your workmanship. Loved the legs and in my opinion I liked the black drawer pulls. It ties in with the legs. Glad you sorted out the comments or lack of. Love seeing Daisy getting her corks and playing. Thanks for sharing xx
Hi Freyja. Thank you so much for your lovely compliment about my workmanship, it means a lot. The drawer pulls are about 50/50 at the moment. My thought process was I didn’t want hem to look too new as it was a ‘rustic’ finish, which is why I went for distressed. I was really annoyed with myself about the comments as it must have been me that disabled them although I don’t remember doing it! ☹️ I just hope it didn’t annoy the early viewers too much. Thanks for your continued support 😀😀😀😀👍
Well done, you made the piece look sleek and modern by removing the trim. I like the finish, particularly the stained dove tails, but prefer the painted hardware over the distressed pieces.
Wow, I really love this. The grooves that give the impression of seperate drawers are brilliant. I think the used look on the hardware definately matches better the overall design as it gives it a kind of antique and industrail look.
I really appreciate how you pay as much attention to what doesn't show as to what does. Finishing the interior of the cabinet really made me smile. I'd have opted for the matte black hardware for a uniform appearance, but yours turned out perfectly, just as the industrial legs did. I'm really enjoying your back catalog of work. Cheers!!!
Well done. I loved that your were able to rescue this otherwise fine piece of furniture that just needed some TLC. For the pulls: at first I was sure I would have liked the solid black ones, but when I saw it finished, I'm glad to scuffed them up a bit. The solid black would have stood out too much and been startling to see. This way the pulls look like they've always been a part of the piece. That Daisy! A bit spoilt, but who wouldn't she is so loving and a beautiful dog. I love her being *very* particular each time she chooses her cork!

This is definitely my favourite piece so far. I didn't like the distressed handles until you put them on the piece and then they were just transformed.
You have a unique vision of how to remake furniture, that may have lived a hard life then turning it into a piece that can be put in any room in your home.
It turned out beautifully. I like the hardware and legs. I do think I'd prefer the drawer pulls not distressed but that is just my humble opinion. But either way the piece is beautiful.
Beautiful transformation! I was wondering what you could do with a solid white pine piece, and you really nailed it. I think the distressed hardware goes better, so excellent choice!
Excellent job I love the change you made to it between screwing off the top and putting that nice groove detail in the drawers. Little cool transformation you would never think it was the same piece, congrats again!
There were so many techniques used it was very interesting how you transformed this piece into a beautiful functional dresser. The legs and pulls were a definite hit!! Glad you had an adorable dog for a helper.
Hi Laurel, I never really thought how many techniques I used so thanks for that thoughtful comment. It was a lot of work but I was pleased with the end result. Daisy is adorable but then I am a little biased. Hehe 😀😀😀👍🐶🐶
... hardly to recognize after the restoration and I prefer the restorated, industrial like look. To be honest I'd prefer the purely black pullers - sorry to say! What I like very much are the darkly staind dove tails, they look very nice. Greetings from Germany from the silver fox, David 😉🦊
Hi Gary. Glad you think the pulls looked right on the finished piece. I was happy with them at the end and think it matches well with the Industrial/rustic theme. Thanks for your support 😀😀😀👍
Someone was really hard on this piece of furniture but it looks great now. It’s hard to make pine look beautiful but this is now stunning. I especially love the legs and like the distressed pulls the best too. I enjoy the breaks with Daisy-that face!! 😍. Woo-woo-woOf!
Hi CJ thanks very much, I enjoyed doing this one and was going to keep it for myself but it sold pretty quickly. Thanks for your lovely compliment about my Daisy 😀🐶❤️
David, I love the legs you chose, the stain finish, the overall little changes you made and the new aged look drawer pulls. You surely gave lots of TLC to those drawers. You can most definitely tell that Daisy loves his master.
Beautiful transformation, I love this style! The distressed hardware was a great idea, I love that you distressed more than just the edges! The scenes with Daisy are the best bonus!
The finished piece is so much better. I'm not a huge fan of just clear coated pine - it's just too yellow for my taste. The stain you chose made the chest of drawers look so warm, like a piece I'l love to have in my own home. Thanks for sharing,
That turned out absolutely wonderful! I do love the distressed pulls much better. It takes a lot of artistry and imagination to look at an old piece like that and make it something beautiful and new! That looks so wonderful! Great job! Take care!
Ha David! Loved the transformation! You did a great job not revealing your intended design until the very end; a very pleasant eyebrow raiser for sure. The color you chose if certainly the right one….another home run! Love watching you and Daisy! Keep on truck’n! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is a fantasic transformation! The legs and pulls were a great choice. I even like the cheap old pine wood grain now. As always, I enjoyed the time with Daisy. 😊 I'm very happy the comments section was fixed!
Hi Gail. So glad you liked the transformation and I agree that pine wood grain can be “lifted” with the right wood stain. The comments issue was my silly mistake, I inadvertently ticked the wrong box before uploading. 🙄🙄 Thanks for your continued support 😀😀😀👍

Fabulous job. I'm not sure on the handles? I think the solid ones or if the other ones were not scraped in the middle but just at top and bottom gives a dimension.
I really like the distressed drawer pulls best. I do wish you really had all those little drawers. I have a passion for furniture with lots of drawers.
