While my preference for wooden furniture is to highlight the natural woodgrain you have made a wonderful transformation of an ordinary looking chest of drawers into something that looks quite spectacular, I'm impressed with your artistic eye. Quite brilliant!

Okay the purple scared me for a moment but holy crap this turned out so cool! So chic and using a piece that would've been forgotten and unused. I love how the stain on the drawers still highlights the wood. It looks phenomenal!

Absolutely beautiful, I panicked at first over the plum colour but it is beautiful, love the details, and especially the hardware. Some of these channels show "repair work " being botched up, really annoying, but you are very professional, and the results show this 👏 👍, lovely job.

Okay, initially I was disturbed by the 'eggplant' color choice, but when you revealed the finished makeover, I WAS SHOCKED! That new hardware and the router detailing just brought that old piece new life!! ❤
It amazing how many people were dubious about the purple but ended up liking the final result. I just tend to do things I like and some of the ideas just ideas pop into my head during the project. So pleased you liked it. 😀😀👍

Paul you are making a believer of me yet. I was not in favor of painting over the wood , of course Daisy helped with that opinion somewhat. The final reveal was magnificent. (And 24 mins was not too long to watch such quality workmanship.)
I know a lot of people get very upset about painting over wood but I just try to do what I can to ensure these old pieces of furniture stay out of landfill and find a new home where they will last for maybe another 50 or so years. Thanks for watching until the end and leaving a lovely comment 😀❤

@Mayfield Restorations after seeing how that affected the drawers. I am now doing all my drawers with Howard's Feed n Wax! Thank you! Every piece of furniture I own is a solid cherry with a mahogany stain. I'm doing one drawer a night as I work 55- 60 hrs a week, but they are looking ( and smelling) so much better, thanks to you!
