I just received my M3 Impact Compact in .30 and am just getting familiar with the rifle. I plan on doing some aftermarket stuff but am keeping her stock until broken in.🤠🇺🇸

Awesome rifle, here are a couple of design suggestions. First, the magazine shape should be 1 inch wide by 4 inches tall, so it's less bulky than the big round magazine. Pellets can drop into a chain or belt mechanism to move through the elongated magazine shape. Secondly, the FX barrel tubing walls are very thin, I suspect if you filmed the barrel liner with a Phantom slow motion camera you would see the barrel vibrate significantly when firing the rifle. If so, perhaps using thicker barrel tubing would improve FX accuracy even further.

where do you get that black trigger with holes machined into it?
I had to promise my wife that our marriage and all I needed to do for my visa in Colombia be first, but I'm saving for my FX Impact so I can get my own soon. With that said there is one thing that is a small weakness in the "all FX be accurate" desire, that is the picatinny rail on top. It is not one piece with the base and as such may have the ability to slightly rotate. This places the scope out of alignment with the barrel. Why I chose the rifle to be my one-and-only: 1) accuracy especially with slugs 2) The continued ability to add more to it making it truly my rifle 3) The huge aftermarket 4) I am a trained sniper and former long range competitor in America - I live in Colombia now where guns are not legal except for drug lords and thieves. After selling my custom target rifle to come here to Medellin, I just recently found that air rifles are allowed and soon I'll be back in competition!!! So excited.

Great question, while the Impact lends itself to the greatest share of aftermarket parts, I'd say the Maverick has a ton of options as well, especially from Kraford & Lypt. Not much for the Wildcat since it has a stock on it, but I think I've seen a Wildcat buttpad out there. Then expect a bunch of items for the Panthera coming soon - Saber Tactical was showing off some Panthera items at the British Shooting Show last weekend.
IMO the Wildcat is a fine hunting bullpup as it is out of the box. I just happy to tune it to the pellets I prefer.
How much do you have invested in your rifle as it is shown?
Sorry, but the competitions are won with selected liners. Not the average crap which random users get. I had many Superior liners and only the one which came with the gun was accurate. Others had inconsistent bore diameters and uneven crowns. This is crazy, guys.
Not true. I’ve personally been the one grabbing Impacts off the shelves to hand to the guys flying from overseas that have ended up winning (Johan, Matt, Fredrik, Hein, etc).
We don’t make specialty / competition liners. Doesn’t mean there isn’t one out of spec, but that’s why we have our three year warranty. We’re here for you and can swap out the liner if you had bad luck with a liner. That’s one of the great parts of the FX design. Easily swapped out and remedied
@@FXAirguns How can it be? Fredrik shot his last competitions (RMAC) with a Superior Slow Twist liner which is not available now so you could not take it off the shelf.
The problem is it may be hard to get a good replacement. I have a dozen of liners from different sources and different times and the most accurate one is the one which came with the gun. Fredrik and other FX guys can get the best liners the factory can produce. However, we, the guys who pay your bills get some random staff.
Even Ernest at AirgunNation admitted that he selected liners based on their bore diameter consistency. What happens with the ones he didn't choose? Yeap, a 'happy' owner is going to get them.
@@MasonStormSunnyI always appreciate people telling their honest experiences. I've been waiting not so patiently for a panthera 600 in 30 to come in stock. The more I research, the more I'm finding stories similar to yours. I don't want to shell out 2k + for something that will most likely need to be warrantied upon arrival. People have pointed out just about every panthera on TH-cam has a smashed gauge from the case and padding not being adequate. It's sounding more and more like a two thousand dollar head ache.
@@MasonStormSunnyI agree with you 💯%. There are alot of great airguns. FX is a good airgun. So are many others and they don't need thousands of dollars in mods to make them work. They also don't leak.
Also I noticed how fast the FX rep quit responding when you called him out about the different barrel used at RMAC. That's been my experience as well. Either the conversation ends abruptly, or the FX fan boys are all called so they can pile up and insult you.
I sold my FX because I didn't want to be associated with little butt hurt bullies like the FX fan boys.

Let's see.........A competition flooded with one particular brand of airguns. Then the competition is won by the brand overwhelmingly represented.
Now we're told this is the best airgun and that it's indisputable. We're told this by a man that used to work for Airgun Depot and told us how great many brands were before FX hired him.
Are we really to believe that any world class shooter can only win with FX?

The only accessory I'm interested in is an 800mm slug liner for my .35 cal. That is a standard thing. Why are these not available? Why do I only have the option to buy the whole tensioned barrel kit and upgrade the block to shoot slugs?
UPDATED: I got my slug liner. Thanks for any help you gave Ryan from Utah Airguns in overnighting the liner. Seems it was a simple miscommunication problem. I'm happy again.
Those are sold separately, they just work better with the redesigned brass piece and the power block so you know. But reach out to your dealer and make sure they order one from us for you

I like to buy airgun too but I don't have money
I see alot of videos on leaking problems for this airgun and im thinking on investing so much money only to fix your mistakes I don't know maybe those videos are from people who don't know how to handle the gun but i have seen alot

I’ve had FX for awhile but got tired of poor quality. I switched over to Daystate. I got the Safari. Straight out the box getting 1 inch groups at 115 yards. I’ve had not one issue in 3 years. I can say that FX is number 1 in marketing.

It's trigger mechanism sucks. Not a real match grade trigger.
Finally I have designed the trigger myself and now it's great.
I have shared the video with Fredrik that he might adopt the design as is or with some necessary modifications in the interest of shooters but nothing appeared yet.

FX had to hit the pause button on that project. If we can't release a perfect product that will work without issues, better to hold it back until the issues are solved, I'm sure you agree.
@FXAirguns Firstly thanks for the reply I do totally agree with what your saying what I do get upset is the lack of information I've had one on ore order since you announced it.Them very few words you have written explains everthing. Its all very nice BUT VERY HEAVY !!!!!! Unless you are built like Arnie you WILL find the rifle VERY heavy to walk around a field doing some hunting !!!!

Look at the shape between the plenum and the hand grip, it is so weird. Aesthetically not the best. And for the price range, accuracy is not the only thing you pay for.
This is the compressed air rifle company that you buy the rifle from and if you need replacement parts you never find it, USA does not sell parts for FX rifles. This is a shame and a lack of honesty with customers. I will never buy an FX rifle again.
