You guys are right on the money. Obviously they can all play really well and the music is good, but first and foremost, they are always A LOT OF FUN!!!!!!!!!
You ought to check out the one video that the Sensational Alex Harvey Tribute Band every made- an entire concert- the singer and the band are fantastic- th-cam.com/video/aV46U1BVbfc/w-d-xo.html
Interesting note about Alex's striped shirt. It was originally Black and White (rumoured to be an East Stirlingshire FC football shirt) . On the early albums its still black and white until one day circa 75/76 It accidentally met in the laundry a pair of red knickers, which changed it to a very fetching Salmon Pink and Black Striped shirt. Under the studio lights here it has nice orange hue though
Plenty more to come from the seventies if I have something to do with it, Graham. For example, I've requested some great sounding Rock from 1975. The band being, live Steve Miller Band Classics. (These guys really know how to play).
🤣 I think the drummer gave it away at the beginning that they were miming .. one of their more traditional rock songs which is just great - really good riff from Zal there ✊ 👍🏴
Killer riffs from Zal Clemiston. ACDC definitely influenced by SAHB, Bon Scott by Alex etc. At the risk you've done "Boston Tea Party" before, may I request ?
Great reaction C&C to SAHB. This was TOGWT so not live. Check out SAHB - Teenage Idol🎶 Guess the genre, if you can 😉. Here's one for Patreon review. The Sensational Alex Harvey Band BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert From London 1973, audio only, but the sound quality is exceptional for the time.
Another track that I requested from ages ago, I think that I'll have to start suggesting those older songs again as it seems that you aren't doing my requests from a couple of years ago, I know that you have done some which I always appreciate. I'm not sure if you check the comments for the ones done hours after you post tracks as often as you once did?
Incidentally chris , whispering bob Harris, once compared alex Harvey to bon Scott,, the bassist Chris glen and legendary guitarist zal clermiston are the only two surviving members 👍🏴✌️
Just an aside, your observation re AC/DC is correct BUT SAHB became popular a year or two before AC/DC formed and AC/DC must have heavily influenced by them - particularly Angus's guitar AND shorts
You did the wrong video. This is much better (& live) despite being in black & white & performed in front of a bunch of bemused Scandinavians 😄 th-cam.com/video/YYTgubxD6F4/w-d-xo.html
Fantastic! Love that gritty riff, what a great band!
Next, should be next.
Next is wonderful, but somewhat problematical these days. In fact, it isn't problematical but is easily wrong conceived as such.
@timarmstrong3251 yeah, I get you, I'm sure the Hanier Family will get that too. They've done a few difficult songs before
The last of the teenage idols is a great one.

Another amazing 70s rock band

👍🏴
❤ted ,Hugh McKenna, rest up precious brothers, Alex Harvey, the godfather of gallus 🏴✌️
Can't beat a bit of Alex!
There’s a good live vid of them doing this at what looks like a festival.
Thats a killer version ..were they supporting barclay james harvest maybe ..the audience looked "suprised"
The Hammer Song by these guys should be on your radar - Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds do a worthy cover of it as well.

Great rock and roll. I'm sure AC/DC were listening to this one.
When you call your band " sensational " you better be sensational & Alex & the boys are. Sound like early AC ⚡️ DC to me. Cool Rock & Roll ! 🎸
I'm a tad late.
Sensational,
Ernie shirt,
-LOL Cynthia

I'm sure this Vid is fi the Old Grey Whistle set they did.
I would like to suggest their Cover of "Small Axe"again. It's worth a listen.
Underrated band.
I didnt think much of the vocals, but the music sounded great. (Nice guitar solo).

We try our best to get everything in the comments section. But we sometimes miss a few.
Yes, I think ACDC would really despise this band.
But they did play it well. They could be sending up Status Quo as well with that Guitar lineup.

There is one video from the Sensational Alex Harvey TRIBUTE Band. One of the best shows on the internet- th-cam.com/video/aV46U1BVbfc/w-d-xo.html
try Next or Framed
We did Framed. We will put the other one on our list.
Do you mean Ernie, the fastest milkman in the west ?
Bert & Ernie - Sesame Street
LOL?
@hanierfamily Look up Benny Hill.
I think that these guys are better than AC/DC
Alex died much too young.
