It still is as for myself, I might prolly join the navy instead of becoming myself a swat officer although

Can you guys cover the brutality of the Korean war? The numerous war crimes committed by both sides is incredibly ignored, even down right covered up by the u.s. military.

The goverment isn't for the people.....
@@nonethelessfirst8519 Yeah, this stuff is interesting but anyone retarded enough to simp for fucking cops or the military has no principles. These are the tools of the ruling class in whatever country or time period they're in, that's why they exist not nonsense reasons such as "to protect and serve". They are necessary evils (given not having them means anarchy) that must be constantly improved and watched because they're more likely than not to be a threat to the public than its protectors. Left wing or right wing, doesn't matter, the government will crack down on you. But one must also remember who the real enemy is, not the cops or soldiers or even the politicians, they're just puppets, the real enemy are those pulling the strings.
Please do a video on the battle of Guadalcanal when you get chance. Our boys were cut off and surrounded by Japanese navy. Crazy and harrowing story

My counties swat got called on a guy butt booty naked smoking meth in his truck, guy got tased.
I don't really understand the switch to desert camoflauge among some SWAT units. Most of the time, or at least from what I've seen, their missions are set in an urban environment, which the camoflauge doesn't do anything in.
My only idea is that the uniforms are surplus and therefore cheaper than making new black or blue SWAT uniforms. With the surplus uniforms you've just gotta sew in the SWAT tag.
Does SFO/CTSFO swat also count? Thts in the uk with the met police i think
GOD SAVE THE KING
There based all over the uk i know my local force has a team at a location
The opening i just cant lol😂😂
The thumbnail 😂
Can you guys talk about patrol officers and tactics?
Anyone else thinking the British CTSFO / counter terror specialist firearm officer could have been included in the start list highest trained British officers
For singapore it called STAR stands for Special Tactics And Rescue very similar and founded in 1990 after the war.
I wish you were my history teacher❤️👍
When is the home made nuclear bunker video coming?
Any plans to make a video like history of Indonesian National Armed Forces or something?
That thumbnail was such a shock of humor 😂
Let's be cops
The title picture of the video, is a reference from the movie "lets be cops", that movie is so funny. I recommend everyone to watch it.
I prefer the super troopers' method of policing
This focused in large on the American Swat teams, the catalyst for their creation and there are no doubt they are important. But you could have mentioned the catalyst for the forming of most special police forces in Europe, the terrorist attack on the Munich Olympic Games in 1972. Great video nonetheless.
The M107 is not bolt action
in Venezuela the police's special force unit is the D.A.E.T (previously known as F.A.E.S) they are one of the most lethal police units in latin america, trained by the Spetnaz they fought agnaist the "Tren de Aragua" and liberated "La Cota 905" in one of the biggest police operations in south america.
S.W.A.T
Stands for “ special weapons and tactics”

SWAT Tactics = Special Weapons and Tactics Tactics
dude it's gotta suck being at the front 35:25
26:50 theres still sigh latters!!!!
swat also has *a taser tower* what that is is what it sounds like *multiple tasers which can be launched all at once* mainly used for riots but the tasers can be taken off and used as is

Điện Biên Phủ war in Vietnam. Admin! Plss!!
Woow
The Barret you showed is not bolt action.
Spetsnaz is not police unit it is army unit. Omon and SOBR is equivalent to SWAT
swat is a very important and powerful
Back when SWAT was created, in 1960s Los Angeles, they were intended to be used only in highly volatile and dangerous-types of situations that ordinary police aren't properly equipped for, such as active shooter scenarios, hostage situations, bank robberies, barricaded suspects, etc.. etc..
Today, there are more than 100 SWAT raids that take place across America on a daily basis. Often these involve no-knock warrants, where the police do not announce themselves prior to forcing their way into your home, usually with a battering ram.
In the past, the no-knock raid has been mistaken by tenants for being a criminal home invasion, which has resulted in tragedies for both civilians and LEOs alike.
8 out of 10 times, a SWAT raid is going to be used to serve a drug warrant.
SWAT is in no way comparable to GSG9 or GIGN, as both are federal police units with different tasks, better comparable to FBIs HRT. Same goes for Russian Spetznas and Brazilian BOPE, as those are military/military police units. For Germany the correct units to compare to SWAT would be SEK or BFE+, RAID for France, OMON and SOBR for Russia (however also both are federal police units).
Ready or Not lore:
Swat teams also use Glock pistols.
What would it look like if Ukraine made a treaty with Nepal to hire the Gurkhas? Would you be able to make a video about that?

I wish I could say I was that much of a badass, getting swatted with rifles in your face is traumatic, I’m gonna assume most of there stuff is bullshit
Getting super technical the first S.W.A.T team by that definition 1968 led by Daryl Gates who is widely consider the father of S.W.A.T as we know it but... in 1925 the N.Y.P.D created the Emergency Automobile Squad which is the pre cursor of the Emergency Service Unit but low and behold they were created to deal with problems beyond the scope pf normal patrol officers and they did have rifle trained etc officers in designated teams or as we call em trucks. So even though LAPD gets credit for it the NYPD was really doing it and more well before... just food for thought because ESU > LAPD SWAT and if your from NYC you know why
