When Bin Laden got killed, here in NYC, the city was celebrating and rightfully so. Outside The White House it was literally a block party. I have no doubt if Bin Laden’s body was brought back to the States, especially here in NYC, someone would have tried to grab it strung it up like what happened to Benito Mussolini’s body in Milan. Though accounts differentiate on how Bin Laden was killed, the fact was the man was dead.
As for Maryia Oktyabrskaya’s story, that actually would be one heck of a movie IF it was done correctly with no stupid ideas from Hollywood.

Hey just a funny thing i like to mention about Bin laden.
We found where he was 8 separate times. BUT the tech that was used to find him 7 times was classified and prototypes.. So it couldnt be brought to public because it would need to be wrote WHAT exactly spotted and confirmed him on paper.
So what did we do? We send the usual drone to spot him, by that time, 3 days would pass and he was gone again.
What im saying is the tech we used to find him several times was not allowed to be spoke or wrote. So technically it didnt exist, so technically we didnt see him.
    You get the point.

@@aces1053 that's your reasoning!? Because humans have free will and as an extension of that we have consequences for our actions. Death is only a state that unbelievers treat as an end but it helps to remember that God gives life and life ends and it ends because of man's choice to turn from God and pursue is own reasoning. Much like you do when you DECLARE that "God is not real". Do you really credit yourself with such vast knowledge of this whole universe to be able to ascertain a thing so big and consequential as the God of our universe? Even if I didn't believe in God I would never dare declare something I couldn't really know like the universe has no Maker. Especially when I know from personal experience that anything mechanical is always created by intelligence. But that's just my two cents. I know there's so much I don't know so I could never be so sure of something so consequential.

You should look into the 19th century, there was a such a thing as a ‘punitive expedition’ by colonial powers to avenge previous defeats. See the Kabul Expedition or 1842 or the Abyssinian Expedition of 1868.
