  • Todays video is all about my favorite summer walleye fishing lures. The seasons are once again changing and before we get into the heat of summer I wanted to get this video out so you guys can stock up for the upcoming bites. Summer walleye fishing is much different than spring and early summer. Fish move out deeper and spread out. In this video I talk about a few jigging options and a few trolling options. Thanks for watching!

Really basic and specific info. You do a great job of explaining what you're doing and why. That camera adjustment when you wanted to show more of the rod when you started snap jigging was great. Useful stuff.

Great video and as usual I pick up something new with everyone of them and by far the best teacher on YT. My problem is I am in Georgia where we have about a 10-15 year walleye introduction in progress. Of the 20 or so guys from up north who are diehard walleye guys that I have spoke and fished with it seems bottom bouncers are all that works in our lake /river chain that borders South Carolina. I will keep trying the techniques but I know of no one targeting walleyes to catch them without bouncers. I've gone out with the biologist shocking up 3-4 lbs and he has shocked and gill netted 9-12 pounders. Your welcomed to come down and try your skills. Great work and thank you.

I can tell you the older version for the Power Drive v2 is very frustrating to use. It is fine if you are not targeting fish in a specific area and are only interested in remaining "anchored" but it is tough to use when you expect to remain still. It only has a single GPS sensor so the boat will swing wildly -- about 270 degrees -- and it only keeps you within 15-20' of the spot location.
Go with the newer bluetooth version.
