    Great explanation of all the equipment, rod lengths, blade styles, hook sizes and styles, bottom bouncer weights, bait selection and sizes. I think you did a really good job of making it simple to understand and breaking it down into separate parts to put a whole plan together. Excellent job 👍

    Great video and information, I do have a question on the boards your using. What size boards are you using for this presentation ? I see there are large boards and medium ones, I have never used planner boards before and would like to try it, I'm sure this would depend on the weight your trolling with so I would be trolling with 2 ounces or less 90% of the time 1 ounce or less.

    Hi Tom, excellent video!! I am learning so much from your videos and watch everyone. The crawler harnesses, still trying to figure out how much line to let out and what depth it is running at. This video you said your at 70 feet out so how deep was your rig running? I live in the UP on lake Gogebic and locals say troll with crawler harnesses so I am just starting to learn this set up. This video helped me big time! Your a great teacher!

    • @jimordway9287
      @jimordway9287 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You want to use bottom bouncers. The weight you need is determined by using the weight that keeps you line angle about 45 degrees. You do not have to be on the bottom all the time. Experiment. A double bounce on the bottom should put you about the bottom. Reel up from there. Find the depth they like and repeat.

With the the wolf river running thru both lakes. Maximum depth, 8 to 10 ', summer months, where would you concentrate your efforts and what techniques would you suggest. These 2 lakes do receive alot of pressure. Thanks Tom, say hi to Shelby and give Serly a milk bone😅.

I run the bobber stop about 3-4 “ above the hook. That keeps the beads and spinner away from the hook. Works very good! Your thoughts!
