Dammit... teared up _again_ Thanks for the reaction! This song was their closer from their monster 3 hour 45 minute concert that finished last year's 10th anniversary tour. It as an emotional ending to an emotional show. I watched the livestream that started at 2 am my time. Watch the drummer's face early in the song, Akane is know for smiling while she plays but she is clearly trying to hold it together. I hope you continue to explore Band-Maid, they are a unique and wonderful band.
If there is one band to totally get into, Band-Maid is it! They are very technical but as a listener you don't have to be. Their vocals are so catchy, it's unbelievable!

Not only the last song of the show, but also the last concert of their last years 10th anniversary tour at the end of November. The song is a big thank you to the fans who've supported them and of course not easy to understand for someone new to the band without the context, for example why they are so emotional. But I'm glad you liked it and I hope you'll listen to more 🙂
Band Maid loves their fans more than any other band . In turn we love them in the same way . They truly are one of the most amazing band to ever have played music .
Welcome to the Maidiacs, Juliett. A perfect ending to a perfect night. This song would have a bigger emotional impact if you knew the bands history. 🥲every time
Yes, this song was full of emotions and is a song about the wonderful relationship between Band Maid and their fans. It was the last song of their 3 1/2 hour 10th anniversary show in Yokohama. You must know that a single recommendation for a next song is almost impossible with all those wonderful songs they have. Before I go into some details let's pick your next song, quite randomly 😅 .... Real Existence (official live) ... one of their first songs These ladies are masters at their instruments: Kanami (Mincho) lead guitar, Akana (A-chan; Gorilla) on drums and Misa (the barefoot assassin) on bass. Then there is lead vocalist Saiki who is perfect for the Band Maid sound. And the last one Miku is our little pigeon 🕊: Pure energy, fantastic backing vocals and harmonies with Saiki, some wonderful lead vocal songs and these days very good on rhythm guitar ... she wasn't able to play the guitar in 2013 when she founded the band. I don't know of any other band where the fans' top song lists differ as much as Band Maid. This is just a (quite) random selection of songs: Special live: Freedom (Live), Play (Live), ... Hard rock: Moratorium (Live at Zepp), Rinne (MV), Dice (MV), ... Varied songs: Corallium (Live at Shibuya), Influencer (MV), ... Very chatchy chorus: Choose me (MV), Alone (MV), ... Ballads: About Us (MV), Daydreaming (MV), ... Instrumentals: From now on (MV), Onset (Live), ... Miku songs: Sayonakidory (also acoustic), Beauty and the Beast (sadly no good video), ... And finally a very special live performance: Manners/Blackhole (Official Online Live)🍌 If you want to start at the beginning of their career (2013-2017): Thrill (MV, their first video), Real Existence (second video, try the live one), Alone (MV, first own composition), Freedom(best LIVE performance), Choose Me, Play (LIVE!), ... Have fun... Po
It doesn't get much more emotional than this for Band-Maid. It was the final song of a three hour concert, which was the final concert to celebrate their tenth anniversary. They are very grateful for their fans and don't take them for granted. They work hard to improve -- which is hard work because they are already so good. The entire concert was fantastic, ranging from their softest songs to their heaviest songs, and showing off the talents of every member. They are not at all egoistic, but always work for the good of the music, and to spur one another on. They are maids because they want to serve us great music -- it is not a gimmick. The founder (rhythm guitarist with blue flower and "twin tails" in her hair) worked in a maid cafe and learned a lot about customer engagement and entertainment. She brought all that -- and the frilly dresses -- when she formed Band-Maid. She wanted people to expect a lightweight J-pop group -- and be hit with the first, hard rock chord.
Playing this song at this particular arena was a long-time dream of Band-Maid, so yes you've witnessed one of their most emotional performances. But you hit the nail on the head, they are indeed magical!
Band Maid have a few love songs that are written to their fans. Endless story is always used as a closing song to their concerts and is a thank you to their fans. Akane the drummer often cries during this song. Living in Japan I’ve been lucky enough to see Band Maid live a number of times, both at big concert halls and small local live music venues. I have another 2 Band Maid concert coming up in the next 2 months. As well as being awesomely talented, their appreciation and gratitude to their fans is very genuine. How can anyone not love these ladies.
Band-Maid will be releasing a new music video on May 1 called Bestie. We've had the audio version for a week or so, so we know it's going to be great. Otherwise, you can pretty much choose any of their official videos at random and you'll be happy.
This band has everything. They are super talented, they go hard, soft, prog, funky and everything in between. They're also the best band in the world. My journey with Band-Maid began five years ago when like a lot of folks, I clicked on "Thrill" the MV. That was enough to make me check out another - which was Real Existence Live. I've been utterly addicted ever since. This band will make you happier than you were before, every stinking time. As far as this song was concerned, as others have said it was the last song of a 3 plus hour show to celebrate their 10th anniversary together. 33 songs long. They've grown from playing tiny venues and passing out their own marketing material, to this miraculous juggernaut of a band. The language barrier is the ONLY thing keeping them from ruling the world (their stated goal is World Domination.) That is criminal - and is why we maidiacs are so evangelical about spreading the word - the world needs to know them. They inspire me every day.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful reaction❤It's hard to explain what this song means to me and the rest of us MAIDIACS.I don't know if MIKU,KANAMI,AKANE.MISA and SAIKI realize how many lives they've impacted all over the world.BAND-MAIDS history and existence is truly a miracle...PO!!!!! 🕊🍌🍻☕⚾
Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 11th year with the original line up. Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po!
Good reaction.👍 This was the last song of a three and a half hour concert and a very emotional moment in their careers. Not only because they were celebrating the band's tenth anniversary, but also because almost three years earlier, in 2021, what was going to be their milestone concert at the Nippon Budokan was canceled due to covid. This gig, at the even bigger Yokohama Arena, was a sweet revenge for the girls.😎
From JAPAN ■Introducing BAND-MAID BAND-MAID is a five-member girls rock band. They were celebrating their 10th anniversary last year. The members have not changed. They are a hard rock band and fans consider them one of the best hard rock bands in the world. They usually have 20 songs and 2 hours gig. Formed in Japan in 2013, led by side guitarist Miku Kobato. Miku had experience working at a maid cafe in Akihabara, Tokyo, and came up with the idea of playing cool music in her maid outfit. That's why the band was named BAND-MAID. "Thrill" was the first music video of 2014, reaching 2 million views in 2 weeks, and they escaped disbandment and decided to become a hard rock band. Also, they perform LIVE overseas and increase the number of fans. Now they write, compose and arrange all their songs. 130 original songs and 55 music videos have been released on the official TH-cam, all of which are killer songs. ■ Official videos are not blocked. ■
WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE TO CALL THEM WOMEN. AND TO CONTINUALLY CALL THEM GIRLS WHEN THEY ARE ALL AROUND 30 YEARS OLD AND OVER. YOU SO CALLED LOYAL FANS CRACK ME UP WITH THAT KIND OF DISRESPECT.
This is the best current Rock band on the planet !!!!! You have no idea what you have stumbled into.....enjoy the ride with these wonderful ladies,. Their music has single handedly rejuvenated my love for music again and that is a common thread thru their fan base. This band is truly loved by their fans and they give everything they have back to us. Get ready for the Maidiacs !!!!
Final song of a wonderful 3 1/2 hour concert that finished their 10th anniversary tour. Always brings tears of joy to my eyes. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Thanks Jess! If you like really well-crafted multi-faceted rock, this is your band. They can go full-bore, bring it down to an acoustic, and everything in between. Kanami (Kah-nah-mee) is their lead guitarist and genius songwriter. Their rhythm section -- Akane (Ah-ka-nay, drums) and MISA (Mee-Sah, bass) -- is world class. Miku (Mee-koo) is their rhythm guitar player, back-up singer, & main lyricist (and oh so many other things). Saiki (Sigh-Key) is their lead singer with the beautiful rich voice and performance presence. Band-Maid's catalog is deep and incredibly consistent. Want something on the aggressive side? Try Hate or Rinne. Want something fun and interesting? Try the MVs for Unleash or Influencer. Want a beautiful acoustic piece? Try Catharsis. If you'd like to experience whiplash going from a bluesy feel to punk-prog, try the combo of Manners and Black Hole.
Thank you for reacting to Band-Maid! They are one of the best hard rock bands on this planet right now, PO!🕊💕 It was interesting that you picked this beautiful mid-tempo song to start your Band-Maid journey because most of their songs are faster tempo songs. As Saiki, the lead singer, said in this video, they wrote this song specifically for their fans to sing along with the band in a large venue. I suggest the faster tempo song, HATE?, from the same concert for your next Band-Maid reaction. You won't regret it😉
Great reaction for a truly great band- Thanks. Any Official Music Video or Live Video from this band will be fine- So many great songs in the ten years that they have been together. Yes- the last song from the end of their 10th anniversary tour in 2023.
There are songs that show off the lead singer, songs that show off the drummer, songs for the bassist and the lead guitarist. This song shows their heart and their love for us fans. ❤❤
Okay, names, pronunciation, nicknames, and roles, in order that they joined the band. Miku Kobato - mee-koo - Kuruppo, the Little Pigeon, the Little Engine Who Will - band founder, backing (and occasionally lead) vocals, rhythm guitar, principal lyricist, tireless Spokespigeon and PR machine. Wielder of weapons grade cuteness. Poker shark and horse racing fanatic. So determined to see her band succeed that she fired herself as lead singer (she decided her voice wasn't strong enough for hard rock), then went looking for a replacement. Learned to play guitar after the band was formed. Definitely eccentric, possibly insane. Kanami Tono - kah-nah-mee - Kanamincho or just Mincho - lead guitar, keyboards, principal composer and arranger. On stage, she's a savant mad riffer with a room temperature IQ and a huge crush on Saiki. In reality, she's a genius, and not just musically- she has a degree in economics with honors. A sweet, motherly woman who turns into a beast when you hand her a guitar. Akane Hirose - ah-kah-neh - A-chan, the Gorilla - drums, sequencing, snacks, the leader the band doesn't have. What you see is what you get- a cheerful jock with a huge appetite who burns off the calories murdering her drums. Completely unflappable. Frequently snacks between songs. Has been known to sign her banana peels and throw them to the audience. MISA - mee-sah - the Barefoot Assassin, MISA MISA MISA! - bass, booze, occasional wet work. Usually stone faced. Barely acknowledges the audience's existence. Always has a beer or a bottle of Jim Beam on her Orange amp. Originally, these were ways of coping with stage fright. These days, that's just how the assassin rolls. Saiki Atsumi - sah-ee-kee (but Psyche is close enough) - the Ice Queen, Sensei, Sai-chan - lead vocals, some lyrics, the "We're done" girl. Fashionista and train nerd. Regards her band mates, especially Kanami and Miku, with bemused exasperation. In total command on stage; hides behind Miku off stage (she's actually kind of shy).
This was the final song of a 3 and half hour set of the final show of their 10th year anniversary tour! Don't let the emotional weight of this song fool you. These ladies can rock too! Best rock band on the planet, po! Hate? live from this same concert next please!🙏🤘
I'm 65 years old and have listened to all types of music my entire life.....I have never had a musical and emotional resonance before like I do with Band Maid
No specific recommendation for a follow up song. Band Maid 's music is deep, over 100 songs, and diverse. Self described as hard rock. They do every variation of rock, pop, punk, classic, progressive, emo, ballads, and more. There is a 2 songs in one video, Manners, and Black Hole, that gives a hint of their range.
Tears every time. Great song to end the show with... and what a show that was. I have seen them live twice and are by far my favorite live band. The band is incredible in everyway. Thanks for the reaction and check out more, you won't be disappointed!
Wow JuliettJess starting with this tear jerker is something else, and wont prepare you for what is to come ;-) Welcome to the world of Band-Maid ! Glad to have you on this journey.
Gday Jess! Awesome to have you on board! With all the bands you mentioned, all great choices. Band Maid one of the most consistent with an extensive catalog. You managed to start with their concert closer, but it's still all good - plenty to explore!
BAND-MAID will occasionally write songs to their fans which are ambiguous enough that they could also be love/relationship songs (and vice-versa). I hope you'll come back to them - just pick any song. They are wholesome, they are incredibly hard-working, they're funny, they're talented, and they write musically challenging, uplifting songs. BAND-MAID songs just make you feel better.
Enjoy Maid Rock 👍😁 You see them rockin hard and complex here...I say check them early on, with the breakout 'Thrill' MV, further progress at the 'Dice' MV and the lovely 'Wonderland' Official Live. I've been listening to rock since Queen and Deep Purple but the Maids are an absolutely complete band...from beautiful ballads and acoustic re-arrangements to slammin metal and everything in between. The only group that comes close is Band-Maiko...'Secret Maiko Lips' if you're curious 👌 (ignore control freaks...do what you like 👍👍)
Band Maid is the best band on the planet. You have a lot of great music from the Maids ahead of you. The Maidiacs will definitely fill you in on all of the info about our beloved Maids.
Great reaction (new sub for your comments). I would leave any suggestions as most of the best have already been listed in the comments. Just one observation, as this was the last song of thie concert and the last song of their 10th anniversary tour, it was an incredibly emotional moment for both the fans on the band. It's not shown here, but in the live stream you can see more clearly just how much the girls were trying to hold back the tears, and failing. Thanks for the reaction and looking forward to more.
The final song, of the grand final concert of their Tenth Anniversary year. They were very emotional. Watch several songs from earlier in that concert -- "Don't You Tell Me" and "Hate?" (the words sound very negative, but it was about a man who cheated on his partner, who was a friend of the singer in Band-Maid -- so it is her anger at cheating partners)
You should react to "Hate?" from the same 10th Anniversary Tour finale concert. It's one the best "breakup/get lost" songs in rock and roll. Make sure you have the lyrics in closed captioning during the video. They are both brutal and funny. Taylor Swift eat your heart out!
There's a fancam of this closer in a smaller U.S. venue last year where drummer Akane is sobbing as the crowd sing the ending. To see a Gorilla cry is the most moving thing in the history of things...and moving. 😁👌❤💪🤘🤘🤘
BAND-MAID concert at Yokohama Arena, Yokohama, Japan on November 26, 2023 Setlist 01) DOMINATION 02) glory 03) alone 04) Play 05) Unleash!!!!! 06) Thrill 07) Shambles 08) Don't you tell ME 09) After Life 10) Sense 11) influencer (New intro with Miku guitar solo) 12) from now on 13) Daydreaming (New intro) 14) Memorable 15) about Us 16) Mirage 17) Bubble 18) Rock in me 19) Different (Acoustic - Saiki and Kanami only) 20) anemone (Acoustic - Saiki and Kanami only) 21) Choose me (Saiki solo on piano) 22) onset 23) Brightest Star 24) FREEDOM (New intro) 25) BLACK HOLE (New intro with Akane drum solo) 26) DICE (New intro with Misa bass solo) 27) HATE? 28) NO GOD (New intro) 29) Magie 30) Manners 31) Choose me (Normal version) 32) FORWARD (New arrangement) 33) endless Story
Jess, if you like "Endless Story", you will like "Besties". It's a recently released official music video by favorite band in the world, Band-Maid. It was co-written with Mike Einziger of the rock band Incubus. The lyrics, written by Miku Kobato, the band's founder and rhythm guitarist, is a heartfelt tribute to her bandages and "besties". The video itself is stunningly beautiful and etheral. It will be well worth your while to react to it.
New sub here. You stand upon the precipice of either falling in love with BandMaid or getting distracted and thinking they are just another band. They're not. They are arguably the greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century. Hyperbole is very difficult to avoid with BandMaid so screw it. I envy you so much. There is so much wonderful music,, tears and laughter ahead of you if you keep listening. There's no way to describe here why all the things they do combine to create the music. Tons of riffs - enough to make an album for most bands in one song. More hooks than grandad's tackle box. Genre bending writing and performances. In damn near every song a sing along bit for the fans to keep us engaged. Word play between English and Japanese homophones is not uncommon. Deep collaboration between all members to allow everyone to shine. What they have done is harness their egos in service to the song. Akane Hirose and MISA are IMHO the greatest rhythm section currently active in rock music. Truly inventive bass and drumming - not over played but always interesting with unusual choices that make the songs rich. They're not just keeping a beat EVER! Magnificent composition and stellar guitar work from Kanami Tono and equally magnificent vocals from Saiki Atsumi grab us by the ears. Then There's Miku Kobato- no Miku no BandMaid. Founder, chief lyricist, vocal harmonies sung while playing rhythm guitar she is the backbone of this group. She's the lead singer who fired herself so that the lead singer would have a more rock and roll voice. She's the singer who learned to play guitar while in the band. A paid professional learning her instrument on the fly. Now she has her own signature model of Zematis electric guitar. She willed BandMaid into existence. I haven't even begun to say all I could. Come and see for yourself!
This is a bit different than their usual, if you want to hear a more typical style of their music checkout a song, they did earlier in this show called "Hate". It's on their channel as an Official live at Yokohama Arena. 🤘Love Band Maid!!🤘
I cry every time I listen to this song, and especially this video. I’m a 6’2” bouncer type guy embarrassingly enough. My girlfriend thinks it’s sweet thankfully.
"Hate?" is a great song but is it a good introduction? I don't think so: it is a song for "advanced MAIDIACS" 😅 I am always a bit sad when first listeners start with "Hate?". You might disagree but the sound is a bit 'unstructured' without a catchy chorus. The solos of Kanami and Misa are great and it's not a bad song but in my humble opinion not a perfect band maid starter, if you know what I mean .... Po 🕊️ ❤ By the way: endless story (especially this live performance) is also not a perfect start but for a completely different reason. It's okay to start with this song but you can appreciate it even more when you know the band and their bond with their fans! ❤❤❤
If both songs weren’t a good start because I wasn’t an ‘advanced maidiacs’ then what would you suggest? As I state in my videos, the songs I listen to are solely from what others comment, so either way I’m at a loss sometimes 😂
@@JuliettJess Any Band Maid song is a good start, it's not a science and there's no proper way to check them out. In the past people have said 'choose any song, it doesn't matter because they are all good' or 'pull up their YT page and throw a dart'. For the vast majority of us long term fans wer're happy to see any of their songs being reacted to in whatever order you choose to do them.
@@dazedandconfused318 absolutely correct, po 🕊️ And I am always happy when first time reactors don't start with "Thrill" or "Domination" .. again 😅 And it may be a good thing that you later on get some additional meaning or emotion to some songs. But take their latest MV for example: If you first watch 'Bestie' you will not be introduced with the maid outfit concept. Even the current maid outfits are less 'maid' than in the past 😆 that's what I meant by saying that some songs are not soooo perfect for a first listen. 🫣 I don't know of any other band where the fans' top song lists differ as much as Band Maid. And finally a very special live performance: Manners/Blackhole (Official Online Live)🍌 If you want to start at the beginning of their career (2013-2017): Thrill (MV, their first video), Real Existence (second video), Alone (MV, first own composition), Freedom(best LIVE performance), Choose Me, Play (LIVE!) By the way: And "Hate?" is a good suggestion, especially because of the contrast in lyrics 🤟 Amen 😜 .. are, sorry ... Kuruppo 🕊️
@@dazedandconfused318 my comment was more aimed at the person who commented under you considering they said both songs weren’t good choices, apologies for the confusion. I agree with you, I just choose what songs people leave under my comments so it’s a complete pick out of whatever someone leaves so it will always be in a random order and whatever I feel like I ‘might’ want to listen to that day ☺️
Best rock band on the planet. If you liked this watch ENDLESS STORY. Normally they rock pretty hard but they have a number of these slower paced, mellower song. You won't regret watching ENDLESS STORY, also another song to their fans.
Funny but you started with the last song from the last show in the 10th Anniversary Tour. Hard to suggest a video without knowing what kind of songs you're into, However, just for contrast, I'd suggest either their very first OMV, 'Thrill' or 'Hate?' LIVE from this same show.
If you're trying to find a bunch of good "New" music, (I'm guessing New to You) You can check out both Older Bands as well as More recent (Like Band-Maid). Here are a few just off the top of my head: Rush, Styx, Kansas, Yes, Nightwish, Iona, Kitaro, Sweet, Heart, Petra, and these are just a few one name bands out there.
It was a massive show, supposely should have last 2hours but goes for almost 4hours. Not the best song to understand Band Miad universe but a very good start. Some very Band Maid songs will be Manners, Blloming, Onset, From Now On and Sense, to give you an idea of their style. They are a style by thenself anyway.
You should check out “The SiXsters” 5 girl Musicians from Ukraine. Best songs to try would be “Feels” rock, “For us For me” groovy, or “I Stare at You” Ballad.
Good react Juliettjess 👍 Recomended for you....come react 3girls hijab rock metal band from indonesia VoB (Voice of baceprot) : god, allow me please to play music. These good band n amazing talentted 3ladies,good liryc in the music, waiting for you 🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥
You just found the best band, but you kinda began at the end. That was the last song of their year-long Tenth Anniversary World Tour. Turn off the subtitles until you’re familiar with the songs.
I think you’re refrrring to my camera angle? I have a Sony camera, I try and focus the camera up when I move it to the side, it’s annoying but the only way for me to fit into the shot where I’m not just floating above the music video showing 😂
It's not your fault because you couldn't have known. But this song is for established fans otherwise known as madiacs. As a matter of fact this is the exact Wrong song This is not a good introductory song I'm sure a lot of people will give you a lot of suggestions for that
I strongly disagree. This is a fine intro to Band-Maid. No one song encapsulates them, so there's no single perfect song, just a whole perfect discography of diverse songs. Anyway, she enjoyed it, so mission accomplished.
Dammit... teared up _again_ Thanks for the reaction!

Real Existence (official live)
... one of their first songs
These ladies are masters at their instruments: Kanami (Mincho) lead guitar, Akana (A-chan; Gorilla) on drums and Misa (the barefoot assassin) on bass.
This is just a (quite) random selection of songs:
Special live: Freedom (Live), Play (Live), ...
And finally a very special live performance: Manners/Blackhole (Official Online Live)🍌
If you want to start at the beginning of their career (2013-2017): Thrill (MV, their first video), Real Existence (second video, try the live one), Alone (MV, first own composition), Freedom(best LIVE performance), Choose Me, Play (LIVE!), ...
Have fun...
Red 🌹 ~ Saiki has the blue flower
This is their 10th anniversary concert with the same five bandmembers celebrating with their fans.
Playing this song at this particular arena was a long-time dream of Band-Maid, so yes you've witnessed one of their most emotional performances. But you hit the nail on the head, they are indeed magical!
Yes, Omaginai Po! 🕊️
Well said.
LoL...those were my 2 first songs also....been hooked since !!!!
Best band on the planet 🔥🔥🔥🎎🤘🎎🤘
Good reaction.👍
This was the last song of a three and a half hour concert and a very emotional moment in their careers.
From JAPAN ■Introducing BAND-MAID
BAND-MAID is a five-member girls rock band.
You have no idea what you have stumbled into.....enjoy the ride with these wonderful
ladies,. Their music has single handedly rejuvenated my love for music again and that is a common thread thru their fan base. This band
is truly loved by their fans and they give everything they have back to us. Get ready for the Maidiacs !!!!
👍🍻
Same here Tom. I love music again because of Band-Maid. What a blessing they are.
@@edwardmcalister8743 Yep 😀🙏👍🍻🎼
If you'd like to experience whiplash going from a bluesy feel to punk-prog, try the combo of Manners and Black Hole.
the girls from the band lovebites is also there to support the band thanks the other maidiacs will provide tons of info about the band
Thank you for reacting to Band-Maid! They are one of the best hard rock bands on this planet right now, PO!🕊💕
It was interesting that you picked this beautiful mid-tempo song to start your Band-Maid journey because most of their songs are faster tempo songs.
Congratulations on discovering the #1 band in the world today! Enjoy the ride!! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂🕊
Wow JuliettJess starting with this tear jerker is something else, and wont prepare you for what is to come ;-)
Welcome to the world of Band-Maid !
Glad to have you on this journey.
Welcome to *BAND MAID!*
🤘😀🤘
Really a great review....!!! Loved that performance ...
Gday Jess! Awesome to have you on board! With all the bands you mentioned, all great choices. Band Maid one of the most consistent with an extensive catalog. You managed to start with their concert closer, but it's still all good - plenty to explore!
This was the song that turned our ice queen into the queen of hearts love saiki bless her
BAND-MAID will occasionally write songs to their fans which are ambiguous enough that they could also be love/relationship songs (and vice-versa).
The only group that comes close is Band-Maiko...'Secret Maiko Lips' if you're curious 👌 (ignore control freaks...do what you like 👍👍)
No band works harder for their fans than BandMaid.
Band Maid is the best band on the planet. You have a lot of great music from the Maids ahead of you. The Maidiacs will definitely fill you in on all of the info about our beloved Maids.
The only things that top the talents of these incredible Rock Goddesses are their charisma and genuine affection for their fans, bloody sensational 👍🍻
The last song of their 10th anniversary concert. Very emotional moment. It hit me again.
I think it was Chicago and the last show of that tour
Dreamcatcher, XG, Rolling Quartz, Mamamoo are all amazing 🤩

It was the last song of a thirty three set list three and a half plus hours they played
You just had a little taste of Band-Maids charm, Beware, or you'll soon be a Maidiac !!
😏♥️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘
MISA MISA MISA!!!!!
I cry every time I listen to this song, and especially this video.
I’m a 6’2” bouncer type guy embarrassingly enough.
My girlfriend thinks it’s sweet thankfully.
welcome to the fandom!
This was the last song of the concert.
Nice reaction, welcome home Princess Po! Try Hate? next from the same show, very different song and the lyrics are brutul
Po 🕊️ ❤
By the way: endless story (especially this live performance) is also not a perfect start but for a completely different reason.
@@dazedandconfused318 absolutely correct, po 🕊️ And I am always happy when first time reactors don't start with "Thrill" or "Domination" .. again 😅
And it may be a good thing that you later on get some additional meaning or emotion to some songs.
But take their latest MV for example: If you first watch 'Bestie' you will not be introduced with the maid outfit concept. Even the current maid outfits are less 'maid' than in the past 😆 that's what I meant by saying that some songs are not soooo perfect for a first listen. 🫣
I don't know of any other band where the fans' top song lists differ as much as Band Maid. This is just a (quite) random selection of songs:
Special live: Freedom (Live), Play (Live), ...
Hard rock: Moratorium (Live at Zepp), Rinne (MV), Dice (MV), ...

Ballads: About Us (MV), Daydreaming (MV), ...

If you want to start at the beginning of their career (2013-2017): Thrill (MV, their first video), Real Existence (second video), Alone (MV, first own composition), Freedom(best LIVE performance), Choose Me, Play (LIVE!)
By the way: And "Hate?" is a good suggestion, especially because of the contrast in lyrics 🤟
Amen 😜 .. are, sorry ...
Kuruppo 🕊️
@@dazedandconfused318 my comment was more aimed at the person who commented under you considering they said both songs weren’t good choices, apologies for the confusion.
I agree with you, I just choose what songs people leave under my comments so it’s a complete pick out of whatever someone leaves so it will always be in a random order and whatever I feel like I ‘might’ want to listen to that day ☺️
🥰🤘🤗👍😁🕊👀
Best rock band on the planet. If you liked this watch ENDLESS STORY. Normally they rock pretty hard but they have a number of these slower paced, mellower song. You won't regret watching ENDLESS STORY, also another song to their fans.
I think you meant ABOUT US. This song was ENDLESS STORY.
こんばんは、お疲れ様です。っていうか、こんなの、絶対泣くやつやんか!
Funny but you started with the last song from the last show in the 10th Anniversary Tour. Hard to suggest a video without knowing what kind of songs you're into, However, just for contrast, I'd suggest either their very first OMV, 'Thrill' or 'Hate?' LIVE from this same show.
Why do I have a feeling that ambassador chance was involved in this
If you're trying to find a bunch of good "New" music, (I'm guessing New to You) You can check out both Older Bands as well as More recent (Like Band-Maid).
Songs are in English.
You ain't seen anything yet with this band
Good react Juliettjess 👍

Try Unis' Dopamine it's anime coded
You just found the best band, but you kinda began at the end. That was the last song of their year-long Tenth Anniversary World Tour.
Turn off the subtitles until you’re familiar with the songs.
There is something wrong with this video! It's somehow always out of focus in the end.
I think you’re refrrring to my camera angle? I have a Sony camera, I try and focus the camera up when I move it to the side, it’s annoying but the only way for me to fit into the shot where I’m not just floating above the music video showing 😂
Nope! It’s not that. I always tear up when listening to that song .
@@nussekuddenxxx6564 oh how wrong was I 😂😂😂😂 I should’ve got that!
How about the complete opposite of this song? HATE??? It's from the same show
It's not your fault because you couldn't have known. But this song is for established fans otherwise known as madiacs. As a matter of fact this is the exact Wrong song This is not a good introductory song I'm sure a lot of people will give you a lot of suggestions for that

And yet...she enjoyed it 🙄 🤣🤣 (FYI...there are NO effing mistakes in the Maidiverse!!!)
@philproffitt8363 well of course she enjoyed it it's band made after all.
Kind of a happy accident. Where does all this love come from?
I strongly disagree. This is a fine intro to Band-Maid. No one song encapsulates them, so there's no single perfect song, just a whole perfect discography of diverse songs. Anyway, she enjoyed it, so mission accomplished.
