I haven't done part 4 yet . I was on vacation last week and now I've been sick for a week and with Christmas in a couple days part 4 will probably be in 2 weeks . I have a couple other vids to get out first but the series will keep going for sure. Thanks for the comment
just 1 comment if I may - not everyone has Navigraph or use Simbrief especially in the GA/IFR area the new FSR 500 for EG I make the assumption that a FP generated in Little Map - or even MSFS - would be inserted in the the instrument as you demonstrate ----- same way?@@2020fsers
@jayteeaitch yes you are correct entering a flight plan into the g1000 doesn't change whether you make your flight plan on paper, littlenavmap , navigraph, skyvector it doesn't matter . A flight plan is a flight plan and the entry process is the process in the g1000 unless they add new features. Simbrief is a free app and some aircraft can auto download a simbrief fpl with exception to any procedures. You can also use simbrief to create a flight plan as well . G1000 entry is always the same . Thanks for the question👍
The rigor waypoint was picked during my flight planning . I posted links in the description on how to make a fpl on littlenavmap but I picked that because I wanted to jump on an airway to show how to enter that and the rigor waypoint was a entry to an airway.
Flight planning is only picking the best route for your destination. There are many ways you can go in the air so it's really up to you . Unless you're in a commercial liner and then your dispatcher will usually give you your routes.
The best G1000 tutorial I have ever seen. Thank you
You are very welcome thanks for the comment .

May I still ask how you determined to use the RIGOR waypoint? Where did you find it. Thx

Than you! Just wondering, looks like Simbrief is no longer free. I get a message stating that my subscription expired. Can you confirm?
