Awesome tutorial! Garmin 1000 is good and intuitive to understand when flying Airbusses. Everything went fine and every feature indicator and icon was perfectly explained by you, VNAV worked fine. But when the yellow glide slope flight director showed up my Cirrus did no autoland but just overflew the runway in 100 feet altitude. So quick to your ILS tutorial video to learn the rest and do it correct the next time... :)

hey thanks for the comment .. I dont have any or the real sim gear stuff but i can tell you who may have some videos is les o'reily he has fantastic vids on spad and seting up all kinds of equipment hope this helps you .
how to get those altitudes displayed? I only get them when I get a approach from atc and then it's only the straight and final altitudes. In FS2020 planning screen, altutided are shown but not in the g1000 in game.
In the approach make sure to use a Iaf waypoint and then they should populate. Don't use vectors to final or all the altitudes won't show only the faf alt level.
I use VNAV often but would enjoy it more if my IFR flights wouldn’t have such a nagging ATC. Seems the ATC consistently calls for different altitudes that my VNAV is taking me. Am I missing something in the setup?
Hey first off thanks for not ripping me on this video for my Eccentric voice in these older videos I don't act like that anymore 😅. Anyway to your question the default atc sux . And yes they keep bugging you if you descend or don't advise you to decsend at all lol. A work around is to ask for a lower cruise altitude as you descend .

But great content keep them coming very much enjoying as just about every other msfs20 creator while informative... I need the auto pilot by 3 minutes due to dull's Ville.

the indicator for vnav or ils glide slope? if vnav make sure to hit the vnav button if ils make sure you are in nav 1 or 2 with the proper freq. tuned in

Something has happened to the G1000Nxi update. There seems to be a conflict with the Vnav and Rnav and ILS procedures. Previously, it seemed to work well, but something happened. Is it a bug or I'm not doing it right?
can you be more specific of the issue ? i havent done a full ifr flight in a little while in the g1000 but as you can see in the video it seems fine up until the point i stop filming.

This is a very old video and I am in the process or redoing the g1000 series . However I will not be following procedures during the series the main goal is to help you understand and use the g1000.

Thanks for the comment. The g1000 will not autoland usually the pilot takes over around 500 ft .
