Awesome video Kendal it was so wet last spring for you i was surprised how well that area dried out you must have put a lot of work into it to get it that good You're so well organised and set up for making the panels having all the cutting done fist and that jig for welding is going to make that whole project so much easier and enjoyable to do. I worked in farm fabrication making shed's/gates for cattle and that's the way we worked When you start welding them up and get into a rhythm you'll have them done in no time Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Great idea for building panels at your farm. Lots of talent and knowledge to save money, plus I don't think they sell this high quality retail. Loads of hard work and team work. Careful, you just may have started a new business for the whole family.
Really enjoy your channel. It's a window into a part of our society that non-farmer's simply have no appreciation of. I'm fascinated by the technology in the tractors. When you were hooking up the cultivator, I was surprised at the 6 banks of hydraulic connectors. What sort of implement would require all those hydraulic connections? I'm guessing the hydraulic pumps are variable-output high-volume pumps (like large transport aircraft). What's the service life for the fluids and filters. I'm retired and live on 2.7 acres which slopes up to a rock outcrop that runs diagonally through the area. I have a compact 25 HP tractor to help me maintain the place. The service life for the hydraulic fluid is 200 hrs. Anyhoo - love your channel.
We have 2 high out put independent pumps, 3 hydraulic banks per pump. If I use the second fan on our disc drill I would need 5 banks. That's the most we have. Great to hear you enjoy the channel
We feel that when the frost is gone to the depth that the drain tile is... the cows are gone to pasture. Also once that frost is completely gone, the water typically disappears
Good welding Kendal!! Thanks for the video.
Sure are big and heavy panels.. Looks good.
You make that look easy when I can tell it’s not. Great job

Lol, when that last panel is made, we won't want to see pipe for a while.
That’s a handy jig
Simple

Kendall would you please explain why you can’t put drain tile in the cattle pen to keep it dry. Is there no where for it to drain?

Nice Work. Without the labour how much do you think those panels cost you? Thanks.
375 cdn$
@@TwinElmFarms thanks
I have those same chain catches on my panels.... do not put them on the gates, you'll hate them
Why would that be?
So what kind of "creeps" do you feed in that creep feeder??????????
Another very busy day. Thank you for sharing.🐂
