- Hey Nu Yawkers! Today I am right outside Atlantic City in the quaint little town of Brigantine! This New Jersey Shore escape is right over the Brigantine Bridge which is right at the foot of the Borgata, Harrah's and the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City! If you're looking to get away from the hotels, casinos and Atlantic City Boardwalk, this is a great retreat. Brigantine has a beautiful beach, lots of nice shops, restaurants and cafes as well as beach bars and grills. Bring a chair and towel and spend the day on Brigantine Beach with a beach bar close by! Hey Jeff, I enjoyed your video. I love Brigantine, such a beautiful little town and I especially enjoy the seafood restaurant that's on the corner, but it's a seasonal place it won't be open when I go in February. their food is really good.

Spent all my summers there as a kid. 70s to mid 80s. Incredible memories. Brigantine Castle and arcade on north end,trampolines many small mom n pop stores. Pirates Den,Rod n Reel,Barefoot Pub(now Laguana)....sneaking into the pool at the Brigantine Inn. Great small,clean,family orientated beach. Was my go to spot for day trips when my daughter was young.
I gotta find that Brigantine Castle and Arcade! Was I anywhere near them? Did I pass them? I will definitely check them out when I revisit in the Spring. Thanks Joel!

There is an arcade in Brigantine called The Smile Factory that I visit each year and each year I regret it. The first thing you'll notice is the token machine only spits out 3 tokens for every dollar you put in, but you get a "10 % discount" with a $20 bill making the tokens 66 instead of 60 (as opposed to the usual token machines giving you 4 tokens for a $1, $0.25 cents per token, with a bonus amount of tokens given if you put in a $20 or higher if the machine accepts that high a currency), they have been doing this for years even before the pandemic and it frustrates me. What frustrates me more, being a pinball addict, is that they do not repair those two machines and I pointed out the issues to the owner, and still nothing gets done. I don't recommend going there unless you want to be ripped off... saying that, I will probably return in 2023 to see if anything has been fixed in those pinball machines, if not, wait again to 2024!
Thanks for showing me the "boardwalk" walkway in northern Brigantine, my wife and I thought we walked all the boardwalks in NJ, but now we have a new one to visit for walking exercise!
