He nailed it. I live in NJ and all the places he mentioned are top notch.
This should be renamed The Best Towns In North Jersey
South Jersey: Haddonfield, Moorestown, etc...
Those are popular places to visit .however you don't really care about that fact that they have some of the highest taxes in NJ...Mortgage rates, home prices are thru the roof. Not counting how congested these towns are. There are many towns that are great in South Jersey...including Cherry Hill and other towns.

What do you think of Rahway, NJ? I will be moving there for work this summer, and was wondering if you could describe that area to me please? Thanks!
Rahway is working class/blue collar. It’s up & coming now as it’s more affordable than other nearby areas. It’s diverse currently but I think the demographic will be vastly different in the next 10 years.
Interesting list even though i hate that the cost of living in this country is too high which makes it really difficult or impossible or nearly impossible for low income families to find a high quality place to live that's affordable. I live in Jersey but i unfortunately live in one of the worst and depressing counties/cities (Bridgeton) in the country. I'm currently trying to find a much better quality place (a townhome/single family home) to live for rent that has 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, that's in north jersey/central jersey, that's in a really nice vibrant rich-like neighborhood, low crime rate and cost $1240 a month or less. Since me and family in my household are on section 8' the voucher limit for my household is $1240 which makes it a lot harder to find a high quality place to live with that pitiful voucher limit. Property taxes are stupid and no home should cost money at all.
Blame the Democrats & everyone voting Democrat bc that's who is keeping the taxes out of control. Vote red to end the Democratic nonsense!!

conservative affluent towns won't be diverse. Your best bets would be montclair, south orange, and maplewood. West orange is very diverse now, and still has very affluent areas - however the public schools(while still good) do not reflect the demographics of the town. There is also Summit.
That doesn’t really exist in NJ. Conservative & affluent towns aren’t diverse. Affluent & diverse towns aren’t conservative. Livingston is the only town that I can think of that may graze all 3.

I am 68 years old & was born & raised here in NJ & will probably die here, too. These towns are places you want to sell in. NJ has ENDLESS good towns. It's easier to pick the 10 worst towns bc the good towns in NJ are way too numerous!
What about Essex Fells?
Essex fells is a beautiful town with great schooling. But it didn’t make it to this list!

Clifton is said to be the most culturally diverse suburb in Nj… and ranked as one of the top places to live in the country.
