New WR by myself here: • Dying Light: Bozak Hor...
Very happy I managed to do to achieve this despite the poor bolter RNG. Run can still be improved with perfect RNG + some minor hiccups in where I could've done better. Still very happy since I'm very close to sub 19:30!

Agree, the cans are arguably the hardest part of the entire thing.
@@Snoogen11 I found shooting the bolters near the end pretty hard, but I had a much easier time, when I realized I could just get a pistol and pop them from afar. My mistake was using the shotgun.
Speedrunning is stressful, and I only do it out of necessity (when trophies demand it), so when I see gamers like you speedrunning for the sheer hell of it I have the utmost respect. I only did the Bozak run solo with minutes to spare: your time is awesome dude. Congrats.

Use shotgun and just aim his head talking 5 seconds with 2 double shotgun
It takes 1 shot to kill him with the shotgun

I don’t know how you so casually get through this mode! I tried the mode a few times, but never got past trial 3 haha That was five years ago. You make it seem so easy but terrifying as well! My heart rate was pounding just watching you do this, I would literally have a heart attack if I was trying this myself! 😅😂 Great job as always!

The first time I ever completed it I was with a random last Thursday and we did it in like 30:50 ish but I won a gunfight I wasn't at all prepared for

You're right, but if you beat Bozak for the first time subsequent attempts then spawn you in with the Bozak bow.
I dropped in a few times but missed this. Pain
were you one of the early speedrunners of this game or did you come to the game after there was already an established speedrunning community for it? It seems like most of the people that get big followings and WR's are early adopters of a game, so I'm trying to figure out if i should just jump into a game late or wait till a new one comes out and try to get in on the ground floor.
I was actually quite late into the scene, most strats for something like Any% were discovered by others, and I’ve only developed a handful myself. Though when I came in, the other categories like Bozak or Prison weren’t that competitive, and I made more personal strides there in developing strats.
dying light is nice to speedrunners it gives you a timer for more precise times

After you've completed Bozak Horde at least once, every attempt after that (on that save) will spawn a Bozak Bow in with you.

It's the Bozak bow you get for completing Bozak, and you can use in subsequent runs of it. Since I maxed out my Legend skill tree, I have a huge bonus to bow and crossbow damage.

What's the secret behind that fast lockpicking, i need it for the prison heist armory
Lockpick sweet spots don't reset unless you quit to menu or leave the Bozak lobby, so you can learn them in practice runs for perfect picks.
Question because i been trying to do bozak horde and i usually die or have trouble at the elevator part how are you doing so much damage to them?

how did you get the bow i couldnt pass trial 7 so im guessing you need that bow to do it
You get the bow to use in Bozak Horde after beating it at least once. Trial 7 is indeed the hardest, the best thing you should do is to use the available explosive canisters, throwing knives from a crate in the garage area, as well as spam melee throw on your spare weapons and power attack on your best weapon.
