Hi Gadgetry Tech would you ever consider making an IEM or Headphone tier list. Since you get to try so many IEM & headphones a tier list would be awesome.
I would love to hear more about your favorite IEMs for CS2 or Valorant. Best IEMs at different price tiers for couple of game genres sounds like a video I would watch
First review I have seen from you...Absolutely Fantastic!!! The comparisons to other IEM's provide an invaluable amount of information. Thanks, and I'm a new subscriber.
Regarding the Orchestra Lite comparison (ignoring the price difference and sound profile because of EQ), are they superior in terms of imaging, depth, layering and resolution to the Supermix 4 for FPS gaming?
So you talked about cables at the beginning of your video and how there are better options out there than some stock IEM ones. Can you please do a video on IEM cable suggestions? Or even what type of cable materials we should be looking for when shopping for one.
Sure think! I typically like OFC cables (oxygen free copper). A great budget pick are the Linsoul Tripowin cables. Just make sure you get the right termination for your IEMs
Great video! A bit late to the party, but can you tell me if they emphasize cymbals ? And if those cymbals sound sharp That’s one area I don’t like the sound be emphasized, from measure standpoint the nova seems better but I also can get sm4 for 89€ so idk
I play COD and was lucky to test both sm4 and em6l and what I’ve noticed is that with em6l’s I pick the directional sounds like footsteps better. Left, right and behind are about the same, but em6l really shines when you need to hear footsteps above or below. Like I could pinpoint which floor of a building an enemy was on in these
I know you’ve mentioned before that you have them en route, but I can’t wait to see how the ZiiGatt Arete compares to the Supermix 4. Trying to decide between these two as my next IEM
Add the same indecision. The Linsoul Sale decided for me. Ended up buying the Supermix 4 for $135. Still waiting for the Arete review tough, hope it doesn't make me regret my decision.

It does have significantly more detail but em61 is darker and more syrup, which you may find more musical. SM4 is more revealing and analytical. It had more to work with of you have access to PEQ and filters. I think it games better bc of the detail.
Hi Gadgetry, I have EM6L and do you think it is a good choice to upgrade to Supermix4? I normally use them to play Apex Legends, and pop/mainstream music
@gadgetrytech i currently have the Kiwi ears orchestra lite that i use for cod/warzone would the supermix 4 be a downgrade? Looking for good soundstage and details. Thank you

On a side note, I was thinking of pairing a good IEM (whichever I decide on) with a good DAC with mic input. I was thinking of the Schiit Hel+ but they seem to be out of stock and they are not returning my email. I'm a bit concerned there. EDIT: Just heard back from Schiit. Apparently they have no idea when the Hel will be back in stock...in case anybody wanted to know.

Hi sir, I recently bought the EM6L after seeing your 2024 roundup video for gaming audio. I have been regularly using them by directly connect the jack into my laptops audio port. In addition, I came from the Nova 7s you recommended using your custom EQ. Overall the EM6L work great and I love them. The only thing is that some games like valorant, the guns are quite bassy and it makes the other sound less pronounced. Also, I can’t hear the fine detail/environment I do on my nova 7 (I expected this though). I was wondering if you or any of the viewers here had any suggestions or maybe an EQ I can try within the sonar software. Also, I guess should I even still be using it (as of now the nova 7 EQ is disabled). Btw I am not an audio person lol. I play many tac shooters and FPS. Thank you
I think this got answered in my Discord server, but i wanted to agree with what was said there. Typically a bass boost comes from high output impedance, and even a cheaper $10 apple dongle is all you need to solve that problem. It's a good start at least. Additionally, Valorant is a fairly bass-heavy game. So you may want to pull some bass down with EQ to help clean it up.
@@GadgetryTech thanks for your reply. I ordered an apple dongle and I’ll let you know, I will even play around in sonar and maybe recur the bass a few notches
100% agree, using eq to lift certain freq causes perceptible distortion, at least in my experience. EQ is better suited to reduce a specific frequency, especially with less quality or less capable drivers imo
I have issues with metallic timbre so those will be a hard pass. However I do wonder how some EQ could balance them out so they could be tonally fixed while keeping their technicalities. Tonality is as important as layering for gaming imo to be honest because the sounds in game can be overwhelming loud and fatiguing. That's where the Hype4 shine but that's another price tag. At 150€ I would still pick Myer SL41 over the Supermix4 no question !
Thanks for comparing these to the Orchestra Lites. Art_Of_War won't shut up about them. Anyone that plays Warzone should check out his channel btw. Anyway, I'm getting close to pulling the trig, and you've given me something to consider. Especially for about half the price. I actually having something coming not too far down the road on mics. After using both, I prefer the SuperMix 4 over the Kiwi Orchestra Lite. The Lites sound really nice but the comfort can be an issue for some.
@@GadgetryTechhey man. When u do the mic roundup, try to throw in the fifine am8. It’s a usb/xlr dynamic mic so it cuts down a lot of background/room sound. How does this compare to the Orchestra Lites....especially when playing Escape from Tarkov where sound is critical. EDIT: watching now further....I don't think the supermix 4 is what I'm looking for. I'm still looking for a product similar in performance with the Orchestra Lites but with more comfort. If I'm not mistaken, the supermix seems to have a few problems with sound performance and they are not vented. Same problems as the Orchestra Lites but not on it's level of performance.
@@GadgetryTech Value is important as well as the comfort which is why I didn't impulse buy the Orchestra Lites. But I'm going by the many many reviews I've read and seen about the Orchestra Lites which tout it's very impressive use in gaming with it's distinct sound profile. In that respect I haven't seen another pair of IEMs rated higher. Although, all reviews seem to agree about the Lites problems with comfort and it not being vented. This leaves me frustrated. Any tips Keep up the work man
Thanks so much for the super chat!! Regarding EQ - I usually use my custom tunes I share with the community, maybe a couple tweaks here and there from time to time, but ultimately very similar. In game I pretty much always use the headphones preset, as it's kind of the best blend of footstep boost without the air strikes being as loud as they are in PC speaker mode.

If I'm not mistaken, the supermix seems to have a few problems with sound performance and they are not vented. Same problems as the Orchestra Lites but not on it's level of performance.
I feel that the SuperMix 4 is overall a better value for Tarkov. They are also more comfortable which I could argue is just as important here
@@GadgetryTech Value is important as well as the comfort which is why I didn't impulse buy the Orchestra Lites. I want the performance and the comfort (in around the same price range)....at least something approaching the specific performance but vented. Perhaps some of your untested products will fit the bill. Waiting to see.
@@GadgetryTech Please put the Moondrop Katos on your list with an emphasis on gaming vs the Orchestra Lites....unless you have already reviewed them and I missed it.
@@olternautdid you ever find good iems for tarkov
@@AwwMizi Without spending too much money I bought the Antlion Kimuro duo with built mic to test to see how I like in-ear monitors. They are not bad. It's a good solution but not as good as more expensive IEMs. But I may switch to the Audeze Maxwell headphones because I'm not sure my ear canals are comfortable with the monitors.
I play Apex Legends on ps4, would these be better or worse than my current HyperX Cloud 2's? I want to use them for both Apex and listening to music. If not then would something like Simgot EA500LM be better?
Simgot SuperMix 4 or Simgot EM6L for cs2, valorant, fortnite, pubg, maybe dota 2
Which headphones would be more versatile?
Subtitles translate poorly and it's hard to read 20 minutes of it
Tested both and you can save money and buy em6l. Its not a drastic difference for games only music.
Would these be a sizable upgrade from truthear hexas or is it not much of a margin?
Bought for gaming and desktop general use, but been using it for music lol.
How are you liking them for gaming so far?
EM6L or Supermix 4 for valorant and CS2?
hey, between the cloud 3 wireless, cloud 3 wired and the Logitech gpro x2 which one you would choose and why to play on console with your friends?
Can you please share your recommended EQ for this Set?
I just ordered it on the Linsoul Sale.
You sir are awesome!
Hey buddy great video once again
I've just got the em6ls from using nova pros and I've used the eq tuning config for warzone with Sonar and the steel series dac
I find that the foot steps are clear as hell with the pc speaker EQ sound in game... But everything else seems every so loud aswell when in a gun fight and air strikes ect ect and can't hear the steps
So I switched to headphone/headphone bass boost there brill but just not as good as pc speaker with the steps
What EQ are you running if you don't mind me asking in game? Any tips
Keep up the work man
Thanks so much for the super chat!!
@@GadgetryTech were can I find your custom tunes buddy?
Here's the site: gadgetrytech.squig.link/?share=SIMGOT_EM6L. If you click on Apex or Warzone at the bottom, it gives you a custom target with auto EQ support towards the top. My Apex Video and Warzone EQ video explain how to use the tools to tune!
Would you recommend the eml6 or supermix 4 for rainbow six siege?
Check Freshreviews out, he did a comparison of all simgot IEM’s and he basically put the above all for R6 Siege
Please can u tell us when u say gaming king if your are talking about Gear phone/iem or juste about iem, because i think we have not the same benefit when we use iem for gaming, the sound can be pretty smouth but about spacialisation and precision i think we cant have the same result, Thank you for your answer
I bought the Supermix 4 and use it with a DAC (Creativ Sound Blaster Play!3). I don't know why the Supermix 4 are so super quiet. Please help!
Hello everyone! Please tell me what is better for PUBG and Tarkov - Supermix 4 or E6ML?

Great review. Would love to see you review some of sennheisers IE series (200,300,600).
I'd love to one day. They aren't cheap and Sennheiser hasn't returned messages so I'll either have to buy or find another means
@@GadgetryTech I’d be happy to lend you the 600 for testing.
Appreciate it! I have a couple secondary options for getting them, but that's very kind of you to offer that.
what dac amp do you recommend with it that have xlr for mic also❤ minimalist ones specifically
is the Tangzu Xuan NV good for gaming?
I’m looking to pick these IEMS up myself and I’m no audiophile by any means and the way I’ve got my audio set up with my Astro mixamp connected to my ps5 and pc and I really have no intention of replacing the mixamp as of yet anyway but would I still be able to use these IEMS connected to the Astro TR mixamp will little to no issue?
Hey my friend, do you recommend the supermix4 or the Steelseries artic nova pro for gaming?
Nova pros sucks! I have them. At least for COD they suck
Is fiio ka11 a good dac for this iem?, just pre-ordered these
I was wondering what is a good mmcx iem to use with the kimura microphone cable in fps games?
Do you have a measurement of the nozzle diameter for the SM4?
...did you watch the video?
Any sonar EQ for footsteps Cod for supermix4? :)
I only play Apex legends. Which would be the best IEMs for that?
New to headphone audio community! Has been running the Tangzu Waner for over a year. Warzone player. Just pre ordered these (Supermix 4) based on this video and it being talked highly on Fresh Reviews as well.
Just wanted to ask if I need that Apple adapter, or if I will be fine plugging these straight to my motherboard and/or the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen headphone output. Please let me know. Thanks for your hard work!
Thanks! You def want something like the apple dongle. Those other devices like the focusrite have too high output impedance.
Speedy fast response time. Low latency feedback I love it. Thank You so much! Consider me your latest subscriber.
@@Kingsant thanks for the support!
