    I have a 2016 crew cab which was listed as a SLE model that I purchased from a recognizable mass dealer that offers good reliable vehicles! Then, after I road tested it, I noticed that the seats had ALL TERRAIN stitching in them. Then, when I exited the truck, it has the The Same badges all the way around! What gives no four-wheel-drive? I go to the dealer and get the build specifications for the truck from GMC. The original owner ordered this truck with the all-terrain package in suspension only! NO four wheel drive!? I purchased an insert for the center pocket holder-drawer so it raises it so you don’t have look for items. So I put a inch and a half lift on it so it drives straight and level now. Great truck! Come with the 3.6 L V6 motor which again I agree with you I do recommend instead of the 2.5 L four-cylinder which I’ve owned in a 2015 model.

    How is the second row with regards to seat folding? Do they flip up/down well to make more room like you would find in a full size? For example would I be able to travel with my dog without having to get the leather all dirty?

      @@Pandamonium626 a big reason for the price is due a lot to the tech include. I mean lcd touch screen, 4g hot spot, GPS, surround system, electronic seat adjusters, etc. Not to mention that the vehicles main OS is most likely proprietary (which is the one mentioned, jntellilink??v and many other things boost the cost.
      Also, how many were made? If day only 2 mil were made, it will drive the price up as opposed to say if 7 mil were made which lowers.
      What about going say all leather as opposed to cloth? Yup, leather gets expensive....1435

    I have a 2016.. there’s sometimes a little stutter/ delay when pressing down the gas or making a U turns. Went to the dealership like 4 times thinking that something was wrong. They kept telling me that this year got a lot of complaints with that. Just a heads up to anyone buying a 2016 Canyon. It’s also really annoying right when you put the keys in the ignition if you aren’t buckled the seat belt alert ring is so loud sometimes it’s annoying. Sometimes it’s quiet.

    • @stevenc8140
      @stevenc8140 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine has 110,000 miles on when I bought mine. I’ve put 8000 miles on it without a stutter or a step at all. All I’ve noticed is that the transmission sometimes downshift kind of loud. I have a warranty up to 150,000 miles or three years. I’m gonna run it into the ground if I can to make sure I get a new engine and transmission, I’ll let you know and keep you advised. So far the truck is been running solid for me and this is my third one. I had a 2014 sierra brand new and I had a 2015 four-cylinder canyon with 30,000 miles on it. It was a slug with the four-cylinder motor.

      I don't think so, Actually pretty cool you can program a lot of different features remote start options like having the seats heat when remote start is used fan speed climate control you can move the Icons around on the screen as you desire. Plus android auto Wil be available in March. I guess it can be compared to Cell phones there is always something better coming out next year

    • @giveyouashot
      @giveyouashot 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Disagree. I own a 2005 GMC Canyon. Heated seats went out within 3 months of ownership. After several trips to the dealer, owned the fact that those seats were just not meant to be. Panel trim on the driver seat kept falling off. Dealer admitted that it was a design fault so we ended up drilling more holes to keep it in tack. Transmission issues followed not to mention my window regulator both driver and passenger needed to be replaced.
      The electronics are just a gimmick to get you in. I am not buying into any of it. You start messing around with programming, you will find yourself heading back to the dealer if you know what I mean.
      Great looking vehicle but truth be known and most smart folks know that reliability and build are a huge issue. My experience has show that I am not going to fork out $40k on a vehicle that still has not proven itself.
