Pure gold man! Thank to share your knowledge. Just an idea, i think that a very interest tutorial could be how to set a correct turntable scene, the use of chrome e grey ball and the color checker.
Hey there! Thank you very much, I'm really happy that you found value in my content. ⚡ 😉 Great suggestion! So I will look to create a studio lookdev scene with the Macbeth and chrome e grey ball. Do you prefer it set for ACES or standard sRGB workflow?
@@PrimalVFX I think that the ACES Workflow it's very tricky and for me need a separate video (an idea to another content ahahah). Imho. Can't wait to see another content.
I'm new to the shader nodes and I have a question to ask you. Can you add a shader on top of a texture map? If so how can you do it? I have my UV-painted map which I exported from Adobe substance painter. I wanted to import that map on to my model but I also want a shader on top of it, just to make it more stylized. I really really want to learn how to do this, if you have the answer it would mean the world to me. Thank you.
Hey there @trivothanh9920! Thanks for reaching out. I not entirely sure to understand your question. You always need a shader on top. You can not apply a texture directly to the model. You'll need to set up a simple shader network. Connect your texture map (Out Color) to the color input (Base Color) of your aistandard surface shader (if you're using Arnold Render). If I misunderstand the question, just join PrimalVFX discord server, like this it will be more easy to talk about it and help you in the best way possible 😊 discord.gg/wpQrSeEXS3
Yeah this was a bit long and with overkill samples I must admit 😀. The specs of my friend's pc was: dual Xeon E5-2696 (18 core X 2 so a total of 72 threads), 64gb of Ram and a Geforce GTX 1080Ti.
