The main reason why the game kept getting worst.
People only complaint when major changes happen like battlepass changes but never see how we get there at the first place.
As long as the majority is fine with it and let them getaway, They will always try to push another step further. Truly an Apex experience

People are done with bootlicking EA for shit that we should’ve been talking in the first place. This skin stuff exists because we as consumers keep buying it. And it finally passed a point where those people are done too, hope they either change their trajectory or people entirely stop playing. I’ve wasted so much money on Apex too much to keep getting taken advantage of

They’re trying to find a way to sell reactive recolors instead of just putting them into the exotic shop. It’s so obvious and embarrassing that this game wants to profit off. Literally everything. God forbid they give us something to grind for for free like the flatline skin.

The service is free playing the game is free, acessing characters is free.
A lot of people only bought the battle pass once.
To be fair some of use are hardly consumers [we not paying money].
They only way to generate money is skins. Which ofter enough have a free way to obtain.
Its kinda hard to really judge them when paying is optional.
They could handle events better thats all i can say.
While you are technically correct, there are a lot of pay whales and Apex Legends has amassed over 3.4 BILLION in revenue with no improvements to cheating, sever quality, sound problems, and matchmaking problems... aim assist... blah blah blah

The reactive recolor flatline "Overheat" (the red and silver one in the store costing exotic shards) was originally leaked with magenta effects and gas, but instead it's the same orange effects from the "Heavy Metal" skin :( it looked so much cooler that way
Am I the only one who hates recolors? I mean, enough with these recolors, every time they have to recolor weapons, skins, heirlooms (the only thing missing is that they do the prestige skins) just for money. Honestly the recolors are not very nice, except for a few, but every time in every event it is based on a recolor. I would never have put in the game the thing of recoloring the skins of every type (at most the skins with the animation like Wraith with Voidwalker and obviously the skins of the weapons of the battlepass)
I didn't spend a cent on packs, got my free one and one with crafting metals. Got the Havoc Reactive Recolor on that second pack.
that R99 you buy with exotic shards actually looks nice af, just a shame that the gun itself is ass nowadays.
Spotted that when i redownload the game for quids, you can buy the reactive skins now, was getting tired of the battle pass and now after seeing that they still didn't do anything about it just allowed people to get scammed out of the mostly useless yellow coin or completely useless blue stuff, screw them as I'll just watch every promenant TH-camr slowly give up.
don't mind paying for the mythic shards for a reactive skins, especially when the argument is "it's a ten dollar skin" without the assessment that time is money, which in fact it is, and most players don't finish the battlepass til towards the end of the season, not only because the game gets extremely dull really fast, or people don't play every single day. I ended up completely the finals battlepass in 3 weeks of the season being released before I worked on their extended levels, then coming back to apex I finished the battlepass towards the 23 days left mark.
but now gambling hundreds of dollars to get the reactive skin AIN'T IT.
The devs/EA don't understand why the final fantasy event worked so well, it was built off of nostalgia and being able to get an one time cosmetic that can't be recolor'd without another event based around it or risking getting sued.
Honestly, since we're getting 20 exotic shards in the BP per season starting from next season, exotics shards might actually be not as terrible as i thought, it takes 2.5 seasons to get enough shards to get a reactive skin without having to buy those shards which is kinda nice tbh
I actually really liked the pk recolor but the price was to high maybe putting it in the exotic shop 🤔
Its perfectly fine if they will add this havoc recolor after event(or at least 1 season later) to recolor store for 50 green shards. Kinda dumb just to sell season pass final reward as regular legendary for 1800 AC anyways. It would demotivate ppl to finish BP and would cut BP levels sales, which still good chunk of revenue for EA, which could lead to less player base retencion and less people playing overall(longer Qs and so on). Garret just entered rage clicks farming ark i guess, and dropped any reasonability with it.

To me, it seems that all of the content creators right now want the game to die more than the devs do. Of course, we have to point out the game's flaws and be vocal about them, but those overly dramatic titles...
Idk why but I feel like the reactive havoc recolor skin is pretty not rare and easy to get because I know so many people got it and I got it myself on my alt account.

I don’t think we should shift blame to EA, sure EA is a scummy and predatory company, but the fault here lies totally with respawn. They have absolute control over apex, and they’re the ones wringing players dry.
