    I dabble in stop motion from time to time. I never thought to take a clean plate at the end of the project in addition to the one I take at the beginning, so that nugget of information alone was incredibly valuable. Thank you for this and all your videos. I appreciate the effort and education.

    It's funny because when I started to consider going into stop motion I was like "ok what is the best process for removing the rigs ?" and I used to analyze the making-of videos from Kenta/Animist showing some editing parts, accelerated, but as he's not speaking in them and all his softwares are in japanese I took some time to translate all the info displayed. That said, I can confirm that you just posted the only one video explaining the After Effects rig removal process from A to Z on TH-cam, with pro tips about the rigs, set & shooting, so, thank you so much for this, the newcomers & beginners will be helped, for sure ! Your channel is the gem for the stop motion community

    All the cleaning of rigs, compositing, editing, colour correction can be done in Resolve, it's free so no need to pay for Adobe products. And if you want to pay for Resolve, it's a 1 time licence at a decent price that gives you access to updates forever.

Aunque hace poco descubrí todo lo de atomatizar acciones en photoshop e incluir la herramienta "seleccionar sujeto" que permite hacer la limpieza más rápido. I think some people use green tape to cover the end of their rig where it meets the puppet. Then they key out the green as a starting point for rig removal in post production.

    • @edupuertasfruns

    This video was not good, was excelent. I made and uploaded a stop motion animation in youtube, and this was my process:
    1. Make the animation with the puppet and rig
    2. Eliminate the rig and other "continuity errors" in Photoshop. I must add that I commited too many errors, mainly by flickers and shadows, so I edited every single photo, that took like 2 months
    3. Put the photos in Premiere and accommodate them, cut parts, etc
    4. Add some little effects, color corrections and Audio effects
    5. Export
    Now I know how to attenuate or even avoid some errors thanks to you

    Great, I just would like to know why you suggest Adobe after effects instead of the fusion page in DaVinci Resolve?

    I have a question. Whenever I try to use the eraser tool, the area that was erased stays for the rest of the footage. How were you able to erase a new area of a frame without it carrying over to the next frame?

    • @edupuertasfruns
      @edupuertasfruns  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You have to select that it affects just one frame in the eraser options

    Gràcies pel vídeo. El meu dubte sempre és; com esborren el rig en una escena en la que hi ha moviment de càmera?

    • @edupuertasfruns
      @edupuertasfruns  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      si es moviment mecanic, es pot repetir el moviment de camara i fer un passe de decorat sense personatge, si es manual no hi ha altre forma que fer servir el tampó de clonar

    Muchas gracias por compartir tu proceso. Mi pregunta es. Si tienes una escena que incluye diferentes ángulos de camera. Cual es to procesó de decisión para grabar la escena. En que momento decides mover la cámara para tomar los medium y closeup?

    Muy bueno Edu....me pregunto cuanto mas a menos cobran en el mundo de freelancer para hacer este tipo de trabajo? Tienes una idea? Tu hacer tu propio "rig removal" o tienes tu persona(s) especializada en eso? gracias.

    Hello. What tool are you using to erase the rig so that you see the blank plate without the characters, did you have to erase the background on the footage with the characters to get the alpha channel
