    When I animate on ones and twos in the same sequence, I enable the "step by holds" feature under the "capture" settings. That way I don't have to press the arrow keys twice for each pose on twos. I'd also encourage people to use the "black frames" feature on dragonframe. When you get used to it, you become much more sensitive to mistakes in the last frame, and it allows you feel what the next movement should be much more precisely.

    • @edupuertasfruns
      @edupuertasfruns  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I love to hear comments like this. Hope this helps other animators. I am not used to that black, but I will try if you say it saves from mistakes, good thing. Take care dude.

      It is the 3 rectangles button next to onion skin slider in DF. It adds a black at the end of your play

    I have a feeling that to speed up something I animated I need to just remove frames where it floats too long (bunny hopping), but I'm wondering if I should try just speeding up tiny sections of the video (perhaps in Resolve), instead of losing those animated frames. Might look smoother than the rest, so it might stick out as being sped up, but wouldn't that technically work? IDK, maybe I should just take out the offending frames... does that make sense?
    I mean could that even work? A 24fps timeline in Davinci Resolve, but just little parts where the bunny is bouncing upward or falling down speed up to like 48 or more fps? (I shot it using Dragonframe, so some editing might happen there... not sure if I should move it all over to Resolve now, or do as much as possible in Dragonframe and then do final titles and stuff in Resolve... shot a little test animation, but now I got lots to figure out...

    • @edupuertasfruns
      @edupuertasfruns  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi, my approach would be to animate it first place in the speed or timing you want. Changing frames after does not change the position of the object in the air making it less even between frames, just erases poses. With this said, you can totally play with the frames or the sequence as you like, speeding it at a percentage if you want. As fas as you like it it works.

    • @mrhobs
      @mrhobs 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@edupuertasfruns I think taking out frames will make the puppet appear to move quickly. I shot at 24fps, and if I take out a few frames at specific points, it should just look faster, I'm pretty sure. Hmm... plenty to think about... I appreciate the response! (May try a few different things.)

    Hola! He aprendido mucho de tus videos y con este pude entender un poco más el frame rate ya que lo fui aprendiendo sola cuando hago mis animaciones. Pero entonces si filmo en “twos” y exporto mi animación final en dragonframe con 24fps, técnicamente es como si la animación fuera en 12fps solo que se vería un poco más fluida, cierto? También me gustaría aprender a cómo sincronizar una animación con los beats de una música o animar un personaje hablando, soy terrible con números y no sabría como calcular bien la velocidad de la animación con un personaje hablando jaja. Amo tu contenido, eres un animador y conocedor del tema increíble!

    • @edupuertasfruns
      @edupuertasfruns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hola, si animas en doses a 24 será exactamente lo mismo que a 12, no será más fluido para nada. Trabajar a 24 lo que te permite es introducir unos en los puntos donde lo puedas necesitar. Yo ánimo casi siempre en 12fps, y si veo que hace falta algún uno convierto las secuencia a 24 y pongo todo a doses.
