bob....it sounds wonderful. the kid in me imagined the twin exhaust dumped into a single outlet collector. the howl.....the howl... ;-) no growl...all howl.
Bob , you are a machine. I cry every time you assemble and start them up.. lol,,lol. As you know there is nothing more tense and excitement in the same breath, when you fire a new ICE after a complete rebuild..
Hi Bob, well done mate. Next time you start it, would it be possible to run the two exhaust outlets into a single pipe? Very curious to hear how that would sound.
Bob, do you think there is a significant difference in the flow characteristics of a Pre-HE head vs the HE heads? I.E. for a high performance application do you try to stick with a Pre-HE head setup?
@@thecampchaoschronicles9567 But that small bit of efficiency that might be gained from a HE head, don't you think that and possibly more could be gained from using a more modern engine management system with fully ECU controller ignition map (no more ancient springs and weights in the distributor), coil packs (or coil on plug) and modern multi-orifice injectors on a Pre-HE motor?

Well done. The engine has a beautiful soft growl now.
Enjoyed watching! Amazing how you got that engine to sparkle! It looks like a work of art. - Scott / 1976 Jaguar XJS V12 Silver Grey/Red
I have absolute faith in your work Bob. Never in doubt. Keep up the great work.
Hello Bob, very beautiful job.
Nothing but, inspiration. Thanks.
Bob, a great rebuild job and a really neat looking engine stand. The V12 sounds beautiful.

Nice work Bob, she sounds fantastic!!
Way to go Bob !!
Amazing job - thanks for taking us on the journey from beginning to end
Great to see it run, congratulations.
Impressive...

I wish I had time to do that but I'm still playing catch up ball after my health issue.

For power, pre-HE. For efficiency, HE. The pre-HE can take bigger intake valves.

All of that will make any engine potentially more efficient.
