Can you help us out I want to know what the reset switch on the SLk230 actually does? Is situated on the air circulation switch it's only active when the ignition is turned off? I've got a problem with the air conditioning it doesn't come on I had this problem before but it writed itself, I don't think it's a solenoids, doesn't matter if you put it in cold setting or air conditioning it comes out hot!! I've tried to use this reset switch but I don't know if I'm doing it correctly! I just press it a light comes on the fan is on quietly and if you put the ignition on the reset switch goes off, I'm not sure if that's the proper way to do it could you advise me thanks! Tell the customer if it happens again get the connectors and wiggle them about and try and start it. What you could do with the back protective plastic panel on the CLK, to get it to fit just Dremel out the screw hole so it drops down a bit.

Just FYI, Mercedes used CLK front end on C55 AMG cars to be able to fit the V8. if you line them side by side C55AMG is silghtly longer that the standard W203 front end.
Had a similar issue with another German car brand at 20 years old, rubber was internally degrading in the fuel hose and small rubber particles blocking the fuel pressure regulator mesh filter - it was making like a whirring noise, new fuel hose and fpr runs perfect.

I think you're in the ballpark with the SLK 55 something you did there helped maybe the corrosion is more than what is showing? Try a thermal camera or a amp tester, clearly it seems to happen when it's hot, I think one of the connectors pins maybe in the connector block has got corrosion around the wire what you can't see!

What a heart-warming story of Greg's lovely SL. Well done Sam!
Hoodies are sold out already.... Vid was only uploaded 8hrs ago lol 💩
Good to see that you're getting the support from your fan base! 😄
Great content! It makes me want to buy another Mercedes! That was all ways was the problem! No one out side of Mercedes dealership! Would ever fix it properly!!! When I buy one hope you and your great team will look after it for me!!!!!!
As W201 owner would be interested in more such content. Nice video again!
Great weekly content, good to see a 190E still about in good nick, it's one of my favourites, I have a 2.6 manual with LSD box, and looking for a rare 3.2 AMG Baby hammer version but currently 90K,.
RIP Greg, of course a Merc nut has to have his car running right its the goal of us all, and have masses of respect for the mans wishes and its great to see SPR fulfilling such wishes.
Keep the content coming, the educations on specific cars is greatly appreciated.
Sam love your channel mate
Great piece on the old fella that passed away
Nice touch
Mass respect
Just FYI, Mercedes used CLK front end on C55 AMG cars to be able to fit the V8. if you line them side by side C55AMG is silghtly longer that the standard W203 front end.
I am impressed, well done on the fix!! and that 190 E brings backs memories
The 190e is a Bruno Sacco design master class
Darn kinda teared up watching the SL portion of the video😅. Thanks for the videos!
Nice work on that 129 - that was a stumper. Loving the weekly reviews!!
That SL55 is a lovely ending, makes the job worthwhile.
Good video Sam, you’re, LR-Time and Car Ninja are my favourite channels….. 😃
Sorry for another comment I had a varta battery on a Granada mk1
Best battery I have ever had and I had a petrol pump problem never went flat
Had a similar issue with another German car brand at 20 years old, rubber was internally degrading in the fuel hose and small rubber particles blocking the fuel pressure regulator mesh filter - it was making like a whirring noise, new fuel hose and fpr runs perfect.
Rest in peace Greg, thanks Sam another quality video 👍
Top video as always. A real nice surprise to see my ‘new to me’ w203 estate on the channel. Thanks so much guys that battery replacement totally did the trick, it’s working like a charm! Nick
Great result on the SL55. It looked absolutely pristine.
Hola, primera vez que veo que una cañería de cobre quede casi como de fabrica.Saludos desde Chile
to the people who attempt to replace PCV pipe on 156 motor with intake manifold still installed You Are Mad! It is soo difficult and I guarantee once you try it that way, you will kick yourself for making it so difficult on yourself. - Another great video from Sam and his team, keep em coming!
Nathan is the making of these episodes.
203 C55s have a 209 front end from what i understand. M113 wouldnt fit in the 203.
Loved the 190. Great content as always
Some really interesting stuff on there. Thanks. 😊
Fantastic content, more videos like this please, not just working on one car, more enjoyable👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
