1:15:28 Dude, you could've chosen the top left option. You got the data for Tali in ME 1, and that would immediately prove you're You to her and the Quarians. In case of doubt, never go with the middle right option unless out of options. Glad you're getting invested so far! (Oh, about the minigame, you can see the pattern by hovering over it. Don't just click and guess the next one, it's best to see all and then match each, one)
Remember to activate Tech Armour before every encounter so your not sitting through the cooldown mid fighting. So when your shields go down you can reactivate Tech Armour again to recover your shields.

Thanks for your support! 😭🙏🏾 I did end up getting this. Alongside one that separates some of the keybinds. Can't remember if it's episode 2 or 3 where I do it.
LET'S GO!!! I've been waiting patiently for your return to Mass Effect! Your previous playthrough was my absolute favorite, and can't wait to see your journey through this amazing sequel! Like before, do what you want and we'll only give advice when you directly ask us! We're with you in this ride! (My only suggestion is to do everything you want to do before launching a mission called Reaper IFF, that one will start and lock you in the endgame. Besides that, you're golden and free to choose your path!)
And remember: Top right is Paragon dialogue, bottom right is Renegade. And always investigate first, and continue the left options that open from investigate. Just like the first game.
Something you may want to keep in mind; you won't be able to max out all of the powers in the Squad Screen (just like in ME1) so you may want to be a bit tactical to see which you want to max out and which aren't as important to you. Considering it's all different from ME1, just experience it all first, then work towards maxing powers/skills. *Interactive comic* ME1 was never released for the Playstation, only for PC and XboX, but when ME2 came out, they were able to release it on PS as well. For PS-owners, they'd never experienced ME1, so they needed a way to allow those people to catch up on the story so far, which resulted in this comic. It's a nice way to recap. *Tali* When you encounter Tali, you had the option "I can prove it's really me". If you'd picked that, Shepard references the ME1 side quest where she asked for a copy of that Geth data that you recovered from that tedious mission where you had to get rid of the Geth bases on 4 different planets - only to find there was a fifth that needed to be cleared as well. It will immediately convince Tali that it's really you, because nobody else could've known that you'd given her that data. Picking that option will also show you how much Tali has grown since you've last seen her. That all got a bit more muted since you haven't picked that option, so she's still hesitant to trust in you at that point. This is one of the things that carry over from ME1, in this case from a simple side quest. This side quest was a personal quest for Tali, which is similar to the Loyalty quests from ME2/. *Illusive Man* The Illusive Man is a mouthful, so the community usually abbreviates it to TIM. Should be easier for you as well, considering you have to say that name out loud every time ;) And his voice actor is Martin Sheen (father of Charlie Sheen). They even modeled the character to his face, like they do for (almost) all characters. Joker does kinda resemble Seth Green as well. *Kelly* The only way to befriend Kelly (and to make her actually help you) is to flirt with her. She's one of those people who starts to respect you as a friend if you can jokingly flirt with her without actually making a move. And no, that's not going to be a problem for any romances in the game. Seeing how you're already this far ahead, this advice might be useless if you've already turned down several flirting options. *DLC* Since you're already so far ahead of what we get to see on TH-cam, I don't know when to offer this advice, so I'll just post it here. *Lair of the Shadow Broker* This can be done whenever you want (it gets triggered through a dialogue option "Let's get the Shadow Broker"), but plot-wise/chronologically it fits better in the latter half of the game, or to be more precise, in the final third. This is partly because it's a good DLC that's better than most quests (so you might feel the main game is a little less interesting), but also because you'll find spoilers for future missions or even for particular crew mates. That kind of puts a dampener on your experience for the main plot. Plus, it's a difficult one in terms of combat, so if you don't already have access to a bunch of much better weapons than you do now, you're going to struggle. People will most likely mention that this DLC (usually referenced by LotSB) also provides bonuses which you can't benefit from when you're doing it late-game, but I don't think the bonuses are that big. I personally play this rather late in the game, because it's very rewarding on its own. *Arrival* This one's given to you by admiral Hackett halfway through the game, but this isn't what you expect. This is a DLC that bridges the gap between ME2 and ME3 as ME3 prologue, so it's supposed to be played _after_ you've completed the main plot. You can choose to continue playing after wrapping up the main plot, which is very different from ME1. You can decide to tackle it when it's given, but everything that's happening in this DLC is never referenced in the main plot, which feels very awkward. Without giving any spoilers, you'll understand when you're starting ME3 why it's meant to be played after the ME2 main plot. It's pretty obvious. *Firewalker & Overlord* Firewalker isn't a particular great DLC, but it does provide you a new mechanic (and the walkthrough/guide) that is also being used in Overlord. People tend to become bewildered when that unexplained mechanic is a big part of the beginning of Overlord, resulting in major frustration. And unlike your wall safe hacks, this one's mandatory to complete. Overlord, however, is a good DLC that works better when you tackle it in the latter half, partly due to the combat difficulty that requires you to have at least a good chunk of experience, but also because of other reasons. Firewalker is a DLC that you probably want to get out of the way early on, if you want to take it on. (Also, you know Dr. Manuel Cayce from ME1 Eden Prime. He was that unhinged scientist you came across very early in the game, shortly after your squad mate Jenkins got killed.) So all in all, these DLCs _can_ be done early on when you receive them, but you get more value (and fun) out of them if you leave them for later in the game. The other DLCs don't require a disclaimer, so I won't go into them ;)
On mission objectives you are always able to retry a hack, just not on the ones for for credits, etc. TIM voice actor is Martin Sheen, also Tricia Helfer voices EDI, she also played Number 6 in the Battlestar Galactica tv series.
Wooo! My favourite Mass Effect! The core of this, to me, is the depth of the characters and building your relationships with them. I've seen the Normandy SR2 reveal so many times, and it still gives me goosebumps!

Fun Fact: In Classic Mass Effect 2, Miranda asks Shepard who he/she picked to be humanity’s councilor and this choice would determine who the councilor is. The reason for this is that there was a sequencing error in Classic ME1. The game would finalize the save file’s checklist before you made the decision so it was never recorded. This bug was fixed in the Legendary Edition so the question of who is the councilor was removed all together.
Thanks so much for your support! This is a slight spoiler, but from ep 2 onwards, I'm practically smiles the ENTIRE time. I'm having such an incredible time with this game. Even tho I have so much more to go.
I like how the renegade options are much more nuanced in this game. While in ME 1 most renegade options were ruthless, heartless or straight up evil, in ME2 you can still score some renegade points by choosing slightly rude or badass options without being a total ruthless jerk
AYEEEEEE ME2! Let's go. We're so back. It's nice to see Tali so soon. She seems to still kinda trust you if you don't pick "I'll prove it's me". I can imagine if you let cerberus take veetor, she'd be PISSED. I wouldn't know. I haven't seen it yet (one day). Joker has some wild lines in this game. The characters are a highlight in this one for sure. I look forward to seeing you experience this one. As for ME3, I love it. The bulk of the game is so damn good. Don't let the naysayers make you feel less excited when the time comes.
With all the people that say two is the best.. I think a lot of people got stuck on how they felt about the base game of ME3 back in the day. It felt a bit rushed in parts. But ME3 in it's final form is epic. Don't get UNDER-hyped on ME3.
It happens I think in the next episode, I think but it does click finally LOL it's crazy easy and actually quite fun. Both of them! Though that happens like halfway into the video, so you'll still hear me complain a bit before I realize how dumb I was being LOL
sorry for the second comment, but this moment, meeting Joker and reveal of new Normandy... that was absolutely incredible moment. It was a time when games stood for something more than just microtransactions Also... don't forget to check with Joker and EDI once in a while, they have some of the best jokes and jabs as each other that are easy to miss
I hope the negative comments about ME3 don't stop you from enjoying the last game. It's still a really good game and it always makes me kinda sad that all people can talk about is the ending, ignoring the great ~40 hours of gameplay before that
Yea, ME3 is a great game, some people are just haters. And while it did have some weaknesses, I enjoy ME Andromeda quite a bit as well, play it at least once a year
I have to say it. You are the first of 30+ people who discovered and looked at abilities at the very beginning. God, why doesn't it matter to others. The whole game is shot with a pistol at the usual difficulty level. Hello from Russia.
Mass effect 2 is my favorite mass effect. I don't love it as much as Dragon age origins or Witcher games but it is damn great. Right now I am replaying Witcher 3 and Mass Effect 2. they are awesome. Also another bioware game you should check in the future is Jade empire.
YAASSW FINALLYYY I LOVE IT ALREADY AND I HAVEN'T EVEN WATCHED THE FULL VID YET I'LL PROBABLY EDIT THIS COMMENT HAHA edit: I LOVED IT AND IM SO GLAD UR PLAYING THIS WOOO
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!! I've recorded the first FOUR episodes already (it was hard to put down LOL) and man it legit gets better EVERY session. This game is magical
In a nutshell, people got mad because BioWare overpromised when they first announced Mass Effect. It wasn't their first game - they actually made the first two Baldur's Gate games, and Jade Empire which is also worth playing. Also Knights of the Old Republic, a Star Wars RPG. But Mass Effect was their most ambitious game by a country mile. So they had no idea what the game was going to be, and doubly the sequels. Hell, there's evidence that they revamped the story at least once, when the head writer left. So people hyped themselves up with impossible expectations, and were disappointed when they weren't delivered. They were never going to be delivered, because that kind of game can't be made. But it did kind of end up being something they promised it wouldn't be, so there's that. Anyways, the fallout was... crazy. People got into conspiracy theory territory based on datamined filenames and a few coincidences, and decided that the game had a deeper meaning. And I'd argue that it did, just not the one most people thought. I wouldn't recommend looking into the most popular theory, because even if there was a nugget of truth in it (which there isn't, according to BioWare), the main thesis is that you can't know what was true, and what wasn't. But while the game isn't super deep, it's deeper than most people think. Consider who is telling you what, and why. Consider where you got some piece of information, and how. Consider who you are, what you're doing, and why. That's all I'm going to say on the matter. PS. I'd really recommend going Vanguard for ME3. It's a really unique playstyle, and tons of stupid fun. It isn't really that high risk, since Biotic Charge replenishes your shield equivalent.
I always thought Maleshep sounds monotone. He mostly sounds like he's just reading his lines, rather than voicing them. Femshep voice is more lively and engaging imo.
I understand your point, but I personally love Mark Meer's acting as Shepard, and was invested, both in him as a character and as him when playing him. I say both him and Jennifer Hale did a top-notch job as Shepard equally, but each with their own qualities.
Mass effect 1-3 use the Omni-button, my understanding is it was because the game was developed for console first. Personally I think it might be beneficial for you to swap back to spacebar for Use/Cover/Sprint… you’re right the sprinting is very limited after all. Spacebar is going to be a lot easier to hit for all the times you will be needing it. Not sure if there is a mod that separates out sprint. I doubt it tho. Whenever I play any of the trilogy games I need some time to adjust because of these weird keybinds.
I want to so badly. I remember watching my brother play it when I was young. I tried it years back but it was so hard and kinda broken to play on PC. But it's constantly staring at me from my Steam library like the freakin' Green Goblin mask 💀🙏🏾
@@KingdomAce After finishing Mass Effect 2 and 3, maybe Andromeda and any other of the awesome games you've been playing or want to play, I'm super down with a Star Wars KOTOR Let's Play form you! And I'm pretty sure most of us would be too!
LETS GOOOOOOO! I'm super happy to hear that. Because outside of what's happening on the channel now, God of War and ME2, the games I wanna do the most are KOTOR1-2, and all the Dragon Age games!
When we're 3 episodes behind on the Patreon, there's not really an incentive for me to point out something, give you recommendations or hints, because you're already so far ahead, so I'll probably refrain from commenting. For ME1 I had the feeling you already took notice of the things I pointed out in the next video or the one after that, but with 3 videos behind, you either have figured it out yourself, the people on the Patreon commented on it, or it's so long ago that it doesn't really matter anymore.
you'd think that but some of the advice ive been given on the first 2 TH-cam versions of episodes 1 and 2 i just flat out didnt get on patreon. So theres always a reason to give advice. Even if its not advice, some of the fun facts ive been told or alternate decisions you guys made in your own playthroughs, its all fun to read!
Vanguard is my absolute favorite class to play, but it doesn't really come into its own until ME2, and even then it doesn't truly shine until ME3. If you're going to pick another class for ME3, pick Vanguard, and I guarantee it's the most fun you'll ever have with this series.
Ok confession time. When I first played this game. I thought they modeled Jacob after Kanye West. Am I the only one who thought this? Nobody ever mentions that.
@@KingdomAce it's one of Blizzard's best games from 2010-2016 era (talking about Sc2), an RTS game with 3 distinct races. The lore is insane and some cinematics are epic. SC2 is the reason we have competitive e-sports ^^
Do not forget to use the trilogy save editor to fix the Conrad bug. a bug that they failed to patch out, so when you meet Conrad he will always say you choose renegade option on him in ME 1, even if you did not. Very easy to use, just find your ME 2 file, then c lick the Plot tab, then Mass Effect 1 tab, then Missions tab, then Citadel, then untick [The Fan] Go away and make sure [The Fan] Met Conrad Verner and [The Fan] Convinced him is ticked.....if you did that, then just save the file and load in game, done, easy
I know im late but thanks so much for this, I did this just now before I start recording and I appreciate it. I believe I did it right thanks to your instructions!
At some point you absolutely should play through the series again with fem Shep, probably my favorite voice acting in a game ever, she did an amazing job.
oh yeah, head up, there is 3 DLC's to play, 2 before the no point of no return, and one after you finish the game, the 2 DLCs to do before the point of no return is "Lair of the Shadow Broker" and "Project Overlord", and the DLC to do after you beat the game is called "Arrivals", so I do hope you do get to them when ever you feel is appropriate.
11:25 i wouild of reccomened just viewing it because why not, cant hurt to review all your choices. 13:30 i think the imported face gets worse and worse, from ME2 to ME3, idk why 13:40 yeah if you had to choose a different class, id recommend Vanguard, let me tell you, in ME3, Vangaurd is on some drugs, its that good, you someone to be feared in the battlefield, its like your a Biotoic Krogan!, but Vanguard is a combo of Solider and Adept, meanwhile Sentinel is a combo of Adept and Engineer. 24:30 yeah this game and ME3 really like making Shepard being like a magnet towards cover, a lot. 38:14 well you could call him TIM, short for The Illusive man. 50:43 yeah so when it comes to your armor, and armor you buy, id recommend to choose ones related to Powers/abilities, for best results. BUT I would wear a helmet, it comes off in Conversations (most of the time), I think, there is probably a setting for that if not. 1:18:05 to be fair its an easy mini game, just hove your mouse over the dots to find the right ones. 1:23:45 you didn't match the right symbols.
I'm honestly sick of seeing vanguard. Over 80% of people I've seen play it. It's ruined it for me since it's over saturated in walkthroughs. I'm very glad you didn't pick it
@ElizabethCooper-xl8wd this was my biggest worry. I 100000% get that it gets old seeing these diff creators all play the same class, but at the same time when said creator has never played the game before, they have no idea what decisions or play styles are popular. So they wanna have fun their own way, they also have to consider what may be most enjoyable or refreshing for viewers. It's a crazy hard balance and you can visibly see this internal dilemma on my face multiple times in this video. I appreciate you understanding. I can't promise I won't pick things people dislike but I'll do my best to still make each video fun to watch for you all.
@@ElizabethCooper-xl8wdThis is exactly why Oxhorn’s play through is unwatchable to me. His chat tells him every single choice that they want him to make so it’s not even really HIS play through. It’s a bit frustrating to watch. A blind play through should be the actual player’s choices, not chat who has played the game before
@@KingdomAce Many of us, including myself, find the Paragon choices more satisfying and fully-fledged from a story and character standpoint, but going 100% without deviations can actually hinder your experience depending on your wants, and Renegade can actually be really funny. Heck, some things can only happen in your favor or in favor of your allies if you go for a Renegade option, especially the interrupts in 2, same goes for Paragon interrupts. Overall, the community agrees that "Paragade"(A blend of both morality options) is the best way to experience Mass Effect.

I like how the renegade options are much more nuanced in this game. While in ME 1 most renegade options were ruthless, heartless or straight up evil, in ME2 you can still score some renegade points by choosing slightly rude or badass options without being a total ruthless jerk
The left side is about talking, and actions and consequences are the right side of the dialogue wheel
Jacob Taylor and Miranda Lawson.
MASS EFFECT IS BACK 🔥🔥
Rip Pressly 🙏🏿
Later you’ll get some helmets that are visors that are small and you can see your face still. I always use those.
That'd gonna be great then!
Same, those visors make a big difference
With all the people that say two is the best.. I think a lot of people got stuck on how they felt about the base game of ME3 back in the day. It felt a bit rushed in parts. But ME3 in it's final form is epic. Don't get UNDER-hyped on ME3.
The mini game is easy once you know how to do it. Hover over the nodes before clicking on them. They have matching symbols on them.
It happens I think in the next episode, I think but it does click finally LOL it's crazy easy and actually quite fun. Both of them! Though that happens like halfway into the video, so you'll still hear me complain a bit before I realize how dumb I was being LOL
W been waiting for this playthrough
sorry for the second comment, but this moment, meeting Joker and reveal of new Normandy... that was absolutely incredible moment. It was a time when games stood for something more than just microtransactions
Also... don't forget to check with Joker and EDI once in a while, they have some of the best jokes and jabs as each other that are easy to miss
There's a few in upcoming episodes I really loved haha, I love their back and forths
The Illusive man really reminds me of the Smoking man from the X files
This is one of my favorite games ever! I’m so hyped! ^v^
Lets gooo!!
Tali best girl
You died
Game over
Mass Effect 2:Electric Boogaloo
Mass effect 2 is my favorite mass effect. I don't love it as much as Dragon age origins or Witcher games but it is damn great. Right now I am replaying Witcher 3 and Mass Effect 2. they are awesome. Also another bioware game you should check in the future is Jade empire.
Yeah, Jade Empire was a great game
Omg finally 😭😭
Sorry I left yall hanging, but it's finally here 🥹🙏🏾
YAASSW FINALLYYY I LOVE IT ALREADY AND I HAVEN'T EVEN WATCHED THE FULL VID YET I'LL PROBABLY EDIT THIS COMMENT HAHA
edit: I LOVED IT AND IM SO GLAD UR PLAYING THIS WOOO
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!! I've recorded the first FOUR episodes already (it was hard to put down LOL) and man it legit gets better EVERY session. This game is magical
The Illusive Man (aka TIM) is voiced by Martin Sheen
AHHHH okay, thought he sounded familiar!
Trails From Zero mentioned!!!!!
PEAK!
I'm about 1/2 way through my most recent playthrough on legendary. All Tali, all the time.
u need to match the grid in the right hand corner 39.40/1.57:02
I think the reason why the UI looks really huge is because of your increased field of view
Maybe in ME1, but definitely not in ME2 and 3. So i disagree.
Male Shep has alot of Ups in ME2 and 3, sounding a lot more invested in his lines, especially in a certain DLC...
I understand your point, but I personally love Mark Meer's acting as Shepard, and was invested, both in him as a character and as him when playing him. I say both him and Jennifer Hale did a top-notch job as Shepard equally, but each with their own qualities.
Totally agree. Male Shepard was dry throughout the series.
Jennifer Hales VA is more charismatic. Mark gets better at 3, but Jen is more captivating in the role.
ME is a cinematic masterpiece
he forgot how to use his powers agin....lol
AIM AT YOUR TARGET, THEN ACTIVATE THE POWER
Mass effect 1-3 use the Omni-button, my understanding is it was because the game was developed for console first. Personally I think it might be beneficial for you to swap back to spacebar for Use/Cover/Sprint… you’re right the sprinting is very limited after all. Spacebar is going to be a lot easier to hit for all the times you will be needing it. Not sure if there is a mod that separates out sprint. I doubt it tho. Whenever I play any of the trilogy games I need some time to adjust because of these weird keybinds.
You gotta play renegade!!! The lines were hilarious!
You should try star wars knights of the old Republic, it also has system like paragon and renegade, in light side or dark side
The kotor games were great, and I really enjoyed ME Andromeda, I'd love if he played all those on the channel
Vanguard in Mass Effect 3 is way better because the updated biotic combo mechanics so if you are doing Vanguard ME3 is the game to do it imo
I pick solder because I can use All weapons
It's funny how the game is trying to pretend it isn't obvious they're Cerberus. They're literally wearing the Cerberus emblems xD
Dudeee :( where are Stwacraft 2 cinematic reactions?😭😭❤ we neeeeed and you are in for a treaat
I have no idea what Starcraft is 😅
@@KingdomAce it's one of Blizzard's best games from 2010-2016 era (talking about Sc2), an RTS game with 3 distinct races. The lore is insane and some cinematics are epic. SC2 is the reason we have competitive e-sports ^^
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great game. I hope you played 1 first
Did a whole series on it! th-cam.com/play/PL1F2fTegyC-YdRso3qLm53mB-4dGuUjyo.html
@@KingdomAce cool I'll take a look this weekend. Up to fall out new vegas tonight
What difficulty are you playing on again?
Veteran!
I want more bloodborne!!!
I played femshep just to romance garrus fr
you forgot the safe on the wall 25.00/1.57.02
oh yeah, head up, there is 3 DLC's to play, 2 before the no point of no return, and one after you finish the game, the 2 DLCs to do before the point of no return is "Lair of the Shadow Broker" and "Project Overlord", and the DLC to do after you beat the game is called "Arrivals", so I do hope you do get to them when ever you feel is appropriate.
What is the point of playing sentinel and not using tech armor? :)
It's my first time, give me time to get used to it being in my arsenal. By the time I posted this video, I'm 4 episodes in and use it much more often.
@@KingdomAce All good :)
If you end up playing KotOR PLEASE PLAY KortOR 2!
11:25 i wouild of reccomened just viewing it because why not, cant hurt to review all your choices.
13:30 i think the imported face gets worse and worse, from ME2 to ME3, idk why
13:40 yeah if you had to choose a different class, id recommend Vanguard, let me tell you, in ME3, Vangaurd is on some drugs, its that good, you someone to be feared in the battlefield, its like your a Biotoic Krogan!, but Vanguard is a combo of Solider and Adept, meanwhile Sentinel is a combo of Adept and Engineer.
I'm very glad you didn't pick it
Too many people are playing for the fans and not just for the game play. Taking fans advice on what is the best way to go.
@@KingdomAce respect
I understand what you have said, BUT... Vanguard is objectively sick and fun class, so it's obvious, that a lot of people use it)
@@ElizabethCooper-xl8wdThis is exactly why Oxhorn’s play through is unwatchable to me. His chat tells him every single choice that they want him to make so it’s not even really HIS play through. It’s a bit frustrating to watch. A blind play through should be the actual player’s choices, not chat who has played the game before
Can we just skip the hacking moments?
I love playing as renegade in mass effect games. In my opinion renegade is way more fun than paragon.
After 4 episodes I've recorded, renegade 10000% seems fun to roll with. This def ain't the game to go full paragon imo 😅
Especially in ME2
@lucas.n.carvalho.artist going 100% on either paragon or renegade feels so forced and unrealistic.
Miranda's kinda the worst. Not liking her is valid
I'm sry but that premise is super slow, not sure how people are struggling with some light reading 😂😂😂 jp.
While I don't really like the Mass Effect trilogy, I like your attitude.
What's the next series you're looking at running through?
Thanks for the kind words! and rn im also playing God of War 2005!
@@KingdomAce oh, that's going to be a fun watch, subbing for that. And you're welcome, it's not easy to find good gaming channels lately, keep at it boss. 👍
1:24:00 Ace, my man! Just mouse-over the symbols without clicking. The image appears. It's just simple matching. :)
51:58... Homie I'm colorblind too and if you think it's bad now wait until ME3 😅
